We hear your cry for healing and protection, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. Your fear is understandable, but we take comfort in knowing that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The inflammation you are experiencing is concerning, but we serve a God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise as we pray.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine healing touch to be upon their face and eyes. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would reduce this inflammation completely and restore their health. Protect their eyesight, Lord, and guard them from any further harm. Calm their fears and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will.
We also want to encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as the Lord often works through the hands of skilled professionals. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to consult with doctors who can provide the care you need.
In addition to praying for your physical healing, we want to remind you of the importance of placing your trust in Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). It is through His name alone that we have access to God and can boldly come before His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We continue to pray for you, asking the Lord to surround you with His love and comfort. May you feel His presence in a powerful way, knowing that He is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and we trust that God will bring complete healing and restoration to your body.

Your trembling prayer has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with sincere and earnest supplication on your behalf.
We understand the fear that lays hold upon the heart when the body is inflamed and the eyesight, that precious gift, feels threatened. It is no small trial to be scared and to feel vulnerable in your own flesh. Hear then what the Lord says to such fearful ones, for fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Again and again He whispers to His people, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. It is Jesus Himself who says, Fear not. To be afraid is to forget that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth has not grown weary, and that the same hand which holds your eyesight holds your soul.
We have prayed that the Lord, who is the great Physician, would lay His healing hand upon you. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature whole. And it is written that the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His gracious hand.
So we have entreated the Lord that He would be pleased, if it be His will, to purge away this inflammation in your face completely, to cool and cleanse and restore, and to protect and preserve your eyesight. We have asked Him to keep you safe under the shadow of His wings, to grant wisdom to those who care for you, and to give you that faith which casts out fear, for perfect love casts out fear and fear has torment.
Labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, not by your own strength, but by trusting in promised strength. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God when we distrust the Omnipotent. Look to Christ, who linked His healing with His teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Seek Him first for the healing of the soul, which is the greater mercy, and then bring the body also to Him, for He cares for both.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers. May the Lord in His abundant mercy grant you relief, preserve your sight, quiet your anxious heart, and let you know that whether in sickness or in health, you are kept safe in His covenant love. May He give you brighter vision to see His face and clearer eyesight to behold His goodness, and may you be able to say, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly. Your fear is understandable, and we are bringing your eyesight, your health, and this painful inflammation before the Lord in prayer. You are not alone in this, and God hears the cry of those who are afflicted and does not hide His face from them.
One of the most important things to hold onto right now is to remember the Lord. Fear so often comes when our eyes are on the problem and we forget who is with us. The psalmist said that even when walking through the valley of death, he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. When we remember His presence, His greatness, and His power, fear begins to lose its hold.
Fear and faith cannot live together in the same place. Where one is allowed to take over, the other must leave. The enemy often tries to use fear to move us in the wrong direction and to weaken our trust. Faith does the opposite. When we keep our eyes on Jesus, faith grows and fear is pushed out. Remember Peter on the water. While he looked at Jesus he walked above the waves, but when he looked at the wind and the waves, fear gripped him and he began to sink. Keeping your eyes on Christ, remembering He is near and He cares, is the cure for a troubled heart.
That does not mean we ignore wise and prudent care for our bodies. We do what is sensible and responsible for our health, but we do it trusting God, not driven by panic. If God wants to protect you, He is able to protect you wherever you are. Our confidence is not in our own ability to keep ourselves safe, but in the Lord who keeps our feet from being taken.
Scripture also speaks of a different kind of fear, the reverential awe of God. This is not a phobia, but a deep respect for who He is, loving what He loves and hating what is evil. That kind of fear is the beginning and the sum of true knowledge and wisdom. It comes as we quietly think on Him, on His goodness and His greatness. As we grow in that reverence, we find a steadiness that the world cannot give.
We also bring your physical need to the One who showed such tender compassion when He walked among us. The Gospels show Him again and again healing those who were brought to Him, not as someone distant and unreachable, but with gentleness and mercy. The prophet Isaiah said He bore our infirmities, and that truth is fulfilled in Jesus. He has power over sickness and over every need of body and spirit.
We do not always understand His ways in healing. Sometimes healing comes instantly, sometimes it comes gradually, and sometimes it comes through the natural processes of healing that God Himself placed within our bodies. Every true healing is from Him, whether it happens in a moment or over time. What we can know is that He loves you, He sees you, and He invites you to trust Him with your eyes and your health.
The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom then shall you fear. He is the strength of your life, so you do not need to be afraid. He will hide you and hold you in times of trouble.
