We hear your cry for healing and protection, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. Your fear is understandable, but we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The inflammation you are experiencing is concerning, and we stand with you in faith, believing in God’s power to heal and restore.
The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Savior. We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as the Lord often works through the hands of skilled professionals to bring healing.
We pray for you now, trusting in the Great Physician:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is facing this trial with inflammation and concern for their eyesight. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things. You formed their eyes and every part of their body in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You would touch them with Your healing hand. Bring complete restoration to their face and protect their eyesight, Lord. Calm their fears and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare Your promises of healing over them, believing that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Guide the hands of any medical professionals involved in their care, and let Your will be done in their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, if you haven’t already. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father and the assurance of salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of all healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical.
You are not alone in this battle. We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for your complete healing and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). May His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him.
