PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Your cry for mercy has been heard and I join you in bringing it before Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have access to the Father and it is through Him alone that we are saved.

God indeed knows the unspoken prayer. You do not need to set it out in many words for Him to understand it, for He sees the heart. Yet it is good that you have asked others to pray with you. We always need the prayer of others, and we also need to keep watch ourselves, coming to God with a sincere and wakeful heart.

You spoke of those who mocked and insulted your prayer, and of the hurt that caused. Take care in this very point, for prayer is a great weapon but it must be offered without wrath. If we come to God asking for mercy while still holding anger against another, we thrust a sword against ourselves. At the very time we ought to appease God, we provoke Him if we keep bitterness inside. Lift up holy hands without wrath, and let go of anger toward those who made light of you. Forgive them, and pray for them instead of making intercession against them. Nothing is so characteristic of a Christian as mercy, and as we say Have mercy upon us after Your great goodness, so we must first show mercy to others. The merciful shall obtain mercy.

Do not let their mocking, even when they compare your hope to the parting of the Red Sea, drive you into discouragement or into demanding that God must act in a certain way at once. It is right to pray with confidence in Jesus, but true confidence bows to His wisdom and His timing. Prayer early in the morning and at night keeps the soul safe through the storms and battles of each day, and God who has already shown such great mercy to us will hear and answer according to what is best. He who taught us to call Him Father and to pray forgive us our sins also promises that repentance remains open to those who believe, and He holds out great hope because of His unspeakable mercy.

So I will pray with you now, and I encourage you to continue steadfastly. Ask the Lord to have mercy, to make your heart merciful and lowly, to guard you from anger and from seeking the praise of others, and to accomplish His perfect will in this unspoken matter according to His holiness and truth. May He lead you in a way that is faithful to His word, where marriage is honored as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and where all of life is kept within His design, and may He grant you grace to do your part as you trust Him to do His.

Father, have mercy upon Your servant who cries to You through Jesus Christ Your Son. Grant forgiveness of sins, a clean heart free from wrath, and faith to trust Your goodness. Let Your will be done in this life as You know best, and keep this soul in Your grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus alone, who is our only hope. Amen.

Your cry for mercy in the name of Jesus alone is heard, and God knows the unspoken burden you are carrying even when you choose not to share the details. He does not need the words to be spelled out to understand the need, and coming to Him through Jesus Christ is the only way we have access to the Father.

It hurts when others ridicule a sincere prayer, and it is right to take that hurt to the Lord. Ridicule and mockery are common tools the enemy uses to discourage the work God wants to do in a life. When Nehemiah faced mocking and conspiracy against the work God had given him, his first response was prayer. He did not first scheme how to defend himself, he prayed. Yet he also acted responsibly. He prayed and he set a watch. Prayer is never an excuse to avoid wise and practical steps, and practical steps are never a substitute for prayer. Both belong together. Do not let the mocking of others cow you or push you away from seeking God. Bring the ridicule itself to Him and keep doing what is right and responsible before Him.

God is pleased by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Scripture points to this again and again. Abel was accepted because of faith. Enoch walked with God and had the testimony that he pleased God through faith, and was taken so he did not see death. Noah was warned about things not yet seen and acted by faith. Abraham believed God concerning the promised Messiah, and God counted that faith as righteousness. In the same way, when you believe in Jesus Christ, God counts your faith for righteousness, not because of your works, but because of your trust in Christ. That is how you become a child of God and have access to Him.

Works cannot create faith and cannot replace it, but true faith will show itself in a changed life. To say I believe with all my heart while my life does not conform to what I claim to believe calls that faith into question. Faith without works is dead, not because works earn anything, but because genuine faith naturally produces works of love and obedience. Faith must come first, and then it moves us to act.

There is also a difference between passive belief and active trust. Many people have a passive belief that God can do anything, that He created the universe and is able to do all things, yet that belief remains inactive and does not lay hold of God. Active faith moves from God can to God is at work now as I trust His Word and His promises. People sometimes look for a point of contact to release faith, but what God responds to is the heart that truly trusts Him and His Word, not a formula. Be careful of the idea that you can force an answer by speaking it into existence or by insisting you must believe it is already done in the exact way you demand. That is not biblical faith. Biblical faith trusts the character and promise of God and leaves the outcome in His hands.

This is why faith and patience must go together to inherit what God has promised. God is able to do what He has promised, and He does honor the faith of those who come to receive from Him through Jesus. But He does not always answer the moment we pray or in the way we desire. Even Jesus prayed and learned obedience through suffering and submission to the Father's will. Prayer does change things, but even more it changes us, teaching us to submit to God's will. You can trust that God is good and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him, while also waiting patiently for Him to answer according to His wisdom and timing, not merely ours.

Keep seeking Him diligently through Jesus. Keep praying, even if the prayer remains unspoken before people. Ask Him to increase your faith, to help you trust His goodness, and to align your desires with His will. If there is any part of your life or request that does not line up with His Word, including what His Word teaches about salvation through Christ alone and about marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman with sexual union belonging only within that covenant, ask Him to show you and to give you grace to walk in obedience. His yoke is easy and His burden is light when your aim is to please Him, and that life of pleasing Him is the most hopeful way to live, with expectation for what He will do each day.

May the Lord strengthen your faith, guard you from discouragement when others mock, and give you patience as you wait on Him, trusting that He hears, He loves you, and He will do what is right and good in His time.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer before Jesus in His Name alone.

We have continued to lift your unspoken request before the Lord, trusting that He knows fully what you are carrying and what you have chosen to keep unspoken. We heard your cry for mercy and your desire to believe that your prayer has already been answered, and we have joined our faith with yours, asking Jesus to answer according to His mercy and power, for we know only Jesus can do this.

We also took to heart what you shared about malicious elements coming to insult and belittle your prayer in order to make themselves look good, even mocking your situation by comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea. We are grieved that you experienced that and we want you to know we do not take your request lightly. We consider it an honor to stand with you and not to question or disparage what you have entrusted to the Lord. We serve a God for whom nothing is impossible, and what some may mock as too great, we know He is fully able to do. We are reminded of Mark 11:24 and Romans 8:26 that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us when we do not have words.

We continue to stand in agreement that Jesus, who knows every detail, will show Himself faithful and will give you peace as you trust Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new unspoken request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord will have mercy and grant you assurance and peace, that He will guard your heart from discouragement and from the hurt caused by those who have belittled you, and that He will answer your unspoken cry according to His perfect will and timing. We ask for increased faith to believe without wavering that He hears and cares. We pray this in Jesus Name, amen.
