PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank you for letting us hear your heart in this. We can sense how much this prayer matters to you, and how hurtful it was to have it mocked or compared in a belittling way. It makes sense you would want to hold it quietly between you and the Lord now.

We want you to know we take your unspoken request seriously. You do not have to explain or defend it to others for God to hear it fully. He knows what you are carrying, even without words, and He invites you to keep bringing it to Jesus alone, just as you described.

If it helps, you might find peace in keeping a simple private rhythm of prayer, a quiet moment each day where you place this same request before Jesus without needing to share details elsewhere. That can protect your heart from further discouragement while keeping your trust anchored in Him, not in how others respond.

We are standing with you in that quiet trust, asking for mercy and peace as you wait.

Jesus, You know the unspoken request our friend is lifting to You. We ask for Your mercy and Your presence to guard his heart from hurt and discouragement. Help him to rest in Your care and to trust Your good will, and let him sense You are near and listening. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

The Lord has heard the cry which you have poured out in the name of Jesus, and though you now keep it as an unspoken prayer, He who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit and needs no gallery of words to understand your burden.

You have met with what every tried believer must expect. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Men scoff at faith itself and count it the folly of weak minds, and they insult over one particular Christian's faith, saying, he professes to trust in God and talks after this mad fashion. Sometimes that mockery comes from those nearest to us, for faith's foes often live in the same house with her. They make a spectacle of us for our faith, and they scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, saying, let Him deliver him, seeing He delighted in him. What of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. Take up the shield of faith, for it must bear the blows and it is proof against them. The fiery darts of the wicked, whether they come from Satan or from wicked men or from our own wicked selves, this faith can quench. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Do not let the scoffer drive you from the mercy seat. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. When Peter began to sink he prayed, Lord, save me. Little faith is great at pleading in prayer, and perhaps your very weakness drives you more often to your knees. The Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith but of our faith, be it ever so little, and our Lord acknowledges the faith which we suspect to be little better than unbelief. That prayer, Lord, I believe, help Thou my unbelief, is admirable for many of us. The essence of faith lies not only in knowing that Christ is there and that He is strong to save, but in dropping down into His arms. Have you that faith? That is the one all important question.

You speak of one who made fun of your prayer by comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea. Remember it is written, by faith the Red Sea was dried up, by faith Noah built an ark, by faith Abraham went out not knowing whither he went. To believe that God can interpose is not presumption, it is the old path of the saints. Yet learn also humility in prayer. Jacob when in trouble first did what he thought to be wise and then betook himself to prayer, and we must imitate him in humility of spirit, for self conceit tears the chariot wheels from prayer so that it drags heavily. True prayer is pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him and pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster from His promises. Plead the promise and drop that prayer into the ground with hope, and your weakness shall not make it miscarry.

You say, I must believe my prayer has already been answered. Take heed that faith does not become dictation. Jacob's prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. We must overcome as He did through faith. Never draw near to God upon the thought that prayer is fancy, and never forsake the closet because of the dark suggestion of the Evil One. Still cry both in the daytime and at night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer. Grow more earnest in both faith and supplication, and give up all dependence anywhere but upon God, and let your cry grow more vehement. If there be sin that hinders prayer, remember that faith and repentance are twins born together, and those who have a faith which allows them to think lightly of past sin have not the faith of God's elect. Come with repentance and trust in Christ alone.

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, Father, keep them, keep them from the evil. What wonders it has wrought, it has stayed plagues and brought down blessings from on high. Though you pray alone in secret, you are not alone, for the Great High Priest puts your incense into His censer.

Therefore continue, not in self praise nor in fear of man, but in quiet, humble, argumentative prayer. Expect an answer according to His wisdom and mercy, not according to our prescribing. The Lord can deny nothing to the pleadings of an unstaggering faith, and if the Son makes you free in prayer, you shall be free indeed. May He keep you, strengthen your little faith till it becomes great faith, and do unto you according to your faith in Christ Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy in the name of Jesus Christ has been heard, and we join you in lifting it to the Father, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other mediator by which we come to God.

We understand the pain of feeling mocked when you have poured out your heart in prayer, and the temptation to keep your request unspoken because others have insulted it or used it to make themselves look good. Do not let the scorn of others drive you away from confidence in prayer. Scripture teaches that faith often goes beyond human reasoning, as when Moses prayed and the people hoped to pass through the sea. What seemed impossible to man was possible to God, not because the prayer was loud or eloquent, but because God is merciful and powerful. Jesus Himself taught that those who are willing to believe and be confident in prayer will do great things, even to the moving of mountains, and this was said to train His disciples not to fear or tremble at opposition.

Prayer is a great weapon given to us for the daily struggle. If we first make God favorable to us by prayer and supplication in the morning and at night, we go out with security, even when the day brings its storms and conflicts. At the same time we are taught to remain watchful ourselves and not to think we have no need of the prayers of others. We need both personal alertness and the humble help of the church praying with us. Even when your request is unspoken before men, it is not unspoken before God. He opens hearts and He knows the heart. You do not need to prove your prayer to those who mock it, and you do not need to answer insult with insult. Leave judgment of motives to the Lord, take what is true even from a harsh voice if it accords with Scripture, and let what is false fall away.

Because your prayer is now unspoken, we will not presume to know its details, but we bring it before the Lord as you have asked, in Jesus name alone. We pray according to the revealed will of God, trusting that His answer is always good, wise, and holy. This means we do not ask God to affirm or bless any relationship or situation that His Word calls sin, for He has shown us that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. Where our desires run against His design, we ask not for His approval of the desire, but for His mercy to transform our hearts, to forgive us through the cross, and to give us grace to walk in obedience. To believe that prayer is already answered does not mean demanding that God must do exactly as we have pictured, but trusting with thanksgiving, as Jesus thanked the Father, that God hears us always and will do what is best for faith and holiness, and that He will make His will clear.

So we pray for you now: Lord Jesus, have mercy. You know this unspoken request in full. Grant faith that does not waver before mockery, humility that does not seek the praise of men, and confidence that rests in Your goodness and not in our own insistence. If there is anything in this request that needs correction, reveal it and give grace to repent and to follow You. If there is suffering, bring comfort. If there is waiting, give patience and daily strength. Guard this child of God from discouragement and from the fear of man, and teach him to continue steadfast in prayer morning and evening, trusting that You hear and You will answer according to Your perfect love. We ask this in the name of Jesus alone, amen.

Continue to bring your heart to Him openly, even with unspoken groanings, and remain joined to the prayers of the church. God who heard Moses at the sea hears you now, and His will for you is for your good and His glory.
