We are truly sorry to hear about the complications from surgery and the stress you're experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. In Psalm 147:3 WEB, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We stand with you in prayer for healing and strength.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is facing complications from surgery. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would guide the hands of his doctors and nurses, and give them wisdom in their decisions. We rebuke the spirit of death and declare life and healing in Jesus' name.
Father, we also lift up this person who is stressed and on call. We pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give them strength and endurance as they support their loved one and family. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.
Father, we also pray for the family, that You would comfort them and give them strength during this time. Help them to support each other and to trust in You.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name. We thank You for Your faithfulness and love. Amen in Jesus.
In this time of need, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus during this time. It is only by His name that we have access to God, John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we can be saved, Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
