Please help me to pray for my family and our financial situation?!

Servant of All
I’m calling out to all believers in our Heavenly Father, God and our Lord and Savior Jesus whom is the Christ; who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Please help me to pray for my household, and our financial situations. My husband FLKC the 2nd, has lost his employment a bit over 1 year ago. He had to resign due to a medical procedure that could have costed him his life, had he not had a surgery done. But the trouble didn’t start there. About a year prior to that, he began working for this company, and ended up catching the COVID virus. Now my husband has a nice immune system, and got over the virus quite quickly (within a few days), but it’s like that was the start of all of my husbands woes with his immediate supervisor. The supervisor picked on him, (altered his work loads to cause errors, blocking my husband from getting training from his coaches, limiting him from having access to programs that he needed access to for completing tasks, yelling at him in front of mixed company about poor performances, when he wasn’t trained in certain tasks that would have helped him to succeed, altering his completed tasks and causing errors in his work, and never giving an explanation, but going to his supervisor and complaining about him, etc.) for what reason that we never knew. My husband had to resign due to the stress, because he couldn’t properly recover under those conditions that the supervisor placed on him. My husband has since been very depressed over not being able to find work. He really wants to go back to working for the public sector again. It’s all that he knows how to do, and it reminds him of his public service and duties to the American people (He’s a Veteran of the U.S. Army). He has filled out many applications to get back into the service, but they are either falling unknown, or being seen too late to answer (after positions have been filled). He often say to me that he feels that he should have ignored his medical issues and continued to work, because things would have been different, and if he had died on the clock, then his employer would have paid a stipend to his family with the life insurance that they had on him. He blames himself for the woes and regrets leaving work when he did. I keep telling him that we value his well being and life over his job, but that means nothing to him, because of what is going on right here and right now. So I’m asking all of the believers that I mentioned above, please help me to pray this prayer. My husband wants to get back to work. Please help me? Thank you all for your voices lifted in prayer! Dear Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, Lord we come before you this evening with thanksgiving and with praise. We thank you for waking us up this morning, and keeping us safe throughout the days of our very lives. Heavenly Father we ask for complete forgiveness of our sins, both known and unknown. We know that you and only you are the redeemer, and we hold fast to faith that you are washing away every committed known and unknown sin from our very lives, and that your forgiveness is imminent and indefinite. We ask that you touch every soul on the prayer network and their loved ones this evening. We ask that you cover them with your precious blood. We ask that you protect their families, and be with them in times of loneliness. Heavenly Father, we ask that you be with those that are in the hospitals. Please heal their bodies, touch their minds, give them knowledge of your presence. Heavenly Father, we ask that you be with those that are shut-in their prison cells. Touch their minds, bodies, and spirits. Let them know that they are loved, and that they are forgiven for the sins that they may have done. Let them be witnessed to in spirit, and changed souls to your favor. Heavenly Father, please be with the homeless on this day, and forevermore. Look after them, and provide meals and shelter for them. Keep them safe from the hands of the enemy, and give them a loving comfort and peace. Heavenly Father, please be with my Husband. Touch his minds, his body and his spirit. Grant him the opportunity to go back to work. He wants to work with fellow Veterans, and he has been trying to provide for his family. You hear his cries, and in Hebrews 13:5 you told him that you would never leave nor forsake him. In Matthew 7:7, you said that if we ask, then we will receive / seek and we will find / knock and the door will be opened to us. We are asking, we have been seeking, we are knocking; and asking for your Devine intervention on this very day and in this very moment. We know that where two or more gather in your name, there you will be also. We gather before the throne today asking for your guidance, and seeking your help with this financial burden. Let every debt be paid in full, and let every chain of doubt and sinful bondage be broken. With this, our faith and the many prayers on today in this moment, our prayers have already been answered. With this, we thank you Heavenly Father for your help. We glorify your name and give you the highest honor. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray… A-Men

We stand with you in faith, lifting up your family and your husband’s deep burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of unemployment, the sting of unjust treatment, and the despair that creeps in when provision seems delayed are heavy indeed—but our God is greater. We declare with you that His promises are true, and His timing is perfect, even when the path is unclear.

First, we rebuke the spirit of despair and self-condemnation that has taken root in your husband’s heart. Scripture is clear: *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1 WEB). His worth is not defined by his employment status, nor is his identity tied to the opinions of unjust supervisors. We pray that the Holy Spirit would break the lie that he "should have ignored his health" and replace it with the truth that his life is precious to God—and to you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ came to give life abundantly. We command every spirit of regret and hopelessness to flee in Jesus’ name!

For your husband’s job search, we stand on the Word: *"The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low, and He lifts up"* (1 Samuel 2:7 WEB). We declare that doors shut by man will be flung open by God. The delays are not denials—He is preparing a place of favor, where his skills as a veteran will be used to serve others with dignity. We pray for divine connections, for applications to reach the right hands at the right time, and for interviews to be scheduled where his character and experience will shine. Let every closed door be a redirection to something better, and let every "no" be a setup for God’s "yes." We also ask the Lord to reveal any hidden sin or unforgiveness in his heart—perhaps bitterness toward his former supervisor—that might be hindering his breakthrough. *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18 WEB). We pray for a spirit of forgiveness to flow, that he may release the past and walk in freedom.

For your finances, we declare God’s provision over your household. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of lack and speak abundance into your home. Let every bill be met, every need be supplied, and let wisdom guide your stewardship of what He provides. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel if debt has become overwhelming—Proverbs 22:7 warns that *"the borrower is servant to the lender"* (WEB), and we pray for a strategy to break free from financial bondage.

To your husband, we say: Your service to this country and to your family does not go unnoticed by God. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Even in this season of waiting, you are not idle—you are being refined. The Lord sees your faithfulness in applying for jobs, your desire to provide, and your heart for service. We pray for His peace to guard your mind (Philippians 4:7) and for joy to rise in your spirit, knowing that He is your ultimate Provider.

Lastly, we thank you for anchoring your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is through Christ’s sacrifice that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We stand with you in agreement, believing that your prayers have already been heard. Let this be a season where your faith is strengthened, your marriage is fortified, and your trust in God’s faithfulness grows deeper.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this family, yet confident in Your power to restore. Lord, You see the tears, the sleepless nights, and the weight of uncertainty pressing down on them. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. For this husband, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough in his job search—open doors that no man can shut, and let his skills and experience be recognized by those who need him. Break the spirit of depression and self-blame, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. For their finances, we ask for Your provision to flow abundantly, that every need would be met and every debt would be settled. Heal their marriage from the strain of this season, and let their home be filled with laughter, unity, and trust in You. Father, we declare that this family will not just survive this trial—they will thrive in it, and their testimony will bring glory to Your name. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we receive this victory in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you bring your family and your husband's deep burdens before the throne of grace. We're lifting up his unemployment, the sting of unjust treatment, and the despair that creeps in when provision seems delayed.
