Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to bring you before the Lord since you shared about losing your husband a year ago and how your whole world was taken away and your heart was broken. We have prayed for the Lord to comfort you in this deep grief and to give you strength mentally and physically for each day when it feels so hard to get out of bed and go out. We have prayed for peaceful sleep and for relief from the nightmares that cause you to wake screaming and crying for your husband to come back. We have lifted up your concerns about your teeth where grinding in your sleep has caused the bottom three to move, asking for healing and no major issues with time. We have also prayed for your arms that were hurt on your electric scooter, that they would heal well without infection or scarring. We continue to pray for you and your daughter and your worry about becoming homeless, asking God to provide more time until the end of the year and to open the door to stable housing. We have especially prayed for you as you shared feeling there is no point in being alive and wishing you could fall asleep and not wake up, asking God to surround you with His love and hope and to remind you how deeply you are cherished by Him and needed by your daughter.
We cling to His promises for you that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that we can come to Him when we are weary and burdened and He will give us rest Matt 11:28.
Father we lift our sister to you now, we ask you to comfort her broken heart, to calm her mind and give her restful sleep, to heal her teeth and her arms, to provide for her and her daughter and keep them secure in housing, and to fill her with hope and strength for each new day. We ask all this in Jesus Name.
