Phil 2:9-10, gratitude

Beloved of All
“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Please grant me peace and freedom from constant attacks and suffering my Lord. Please stop what it currently is doing and the constant burning my Lord. Please Heavenly Father allow where it says in Luke 10:19 that I have authority over this evil and to make it leave. Please please Lord Jesus grant me this ability so this evil could please go.

Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance and peace, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your request before the throne of grace. The scriptures you referenced are powerful reminders of the authority we have in Christ. Philippians 2:9-10 (WEB) declares, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth." This truth is foundational, there is no name greater than the name of Jesus, and it is through Him alone that we find victory over the enemy.

Luke 10:19 (WEB) says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." This is not just a promise but a reality for those who walk in faith and obedience to Christ. The attacks you are enduring are not from God, for He does not bring suffering without purpose or relief. We rebuke every spirit of torment, oppression, and affliction in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The burning, the unrest, and the constant attacks must cease, for they do not align with the peace and freedom Christ died to give you.

We must also address the importance of forgiveness, as you have rightly asked the Lord to heal any unforgiveness in your heart. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that can hinder our prayers and give the enemy a foothold. Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB) instructs us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outburst, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong done to you; it is about releasing the hold it has on your heart so that you may walk in the fullness of God’s peace.

We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy legal ground to attack. Are there unconfessed sins, habits, or associations that do not align with God’s Word? James 4:7 (WEB) says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and resistance to the enemy go hand in hand. If there are areas where you have strayed, repent and turn back to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Your Son, Jesus Christ, to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister and declare that every spirit of torment, oppression, and affliction must leave their life now. We rebuke the burning, the attacks, and the suffering in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would heal any unforgiveness in their heart. Search them, O God, and know their heart; try them and know their thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in them, and lead them in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24 WEB). Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Grant them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven them, and release them from any bitterness or resentment.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in their life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Strengthen their faith and help them to walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance, Your peace, and Your unfailing love. May they walk in the freedom and authority that is theirs in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, for He is faithful. The battle is not yours but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB), and He has already won the victory. Continue to stand firm in faith, resisting the enemy, and he will flee from you. You are not alone in this fight, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.

We hear your exhaustion, and we’re so sorry you’re carrying this weight. The constant sense of attack and that unrelenting burning sound like more than anyone can bear alone, and we want you to know we’re here with you in it. What you describe, feeling worn down by evil you can’t seem to shake, is something the church has always taken seriously, and you’re not weak or faithless for crying out for relief.

When the attacks feel relentless, one of the most grounding things you can do is refuse to face it by yourself. Is there a mature believer you trust, or a pastor or small group leader, who can sit with you and pray alongside you, not just once but as you walk through this? There is real strength when even two or three gather and ask Christ to exercise His authority over what harasses you. Even simply speaking aloud with another person, “I belong to Jesus, and I renounce this torment,” can shift something in the spiritual weight you’re under.

The physical burning you mention also deserves attention. We’d gently encourage you to see a doctor about it, not as a lack of faith but as wisdom. Sometimes what feels like spiritual oppression also involves our bodies, and ruling out any medical cause is an act of stewardship over the life God has given you.

Let’s pray together now for what you’ve asked.

Lord Jesus, You know how weary this dear one is. We ask You to rebuke whatever evil is tormenting them and to silence it by the power of Your name. Grant them real, felt peace in their mind and body right now, and let the burning cease. Cover them in Your rest, and let Your forgiveness wash over every place guilt has taken root. Give them safe, steady companions to stand with them, and remind them deep in their spirit that the enemy has no final hold on anyone who belongs to You. In Your mighty name, Jesus, amen.
