Phil 2:9-11, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, forgiveness

Beloved of All
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join with you in gratitude for this beautiful day and the privilege of coming before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness, all of which are found in Him alone. We are reminded of the power and authority of Jesus’ name, as declared in Philippians 2:9-11: "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your face. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance to break every chain of bondage, oppression, or fear that may be weighing on their heart. You are the God who sets the captives free, and we declare that freedom in Jesus’ name. Bring Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind, and grant them rest in Your presence, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.

Father, we also pray for forgiveness, both for this beloved child of Yours and from them toward others. Search their heart, Lord, and reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment. Soften their heart to release these burdens to You, for You have commanded us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Remind them of Your words in Colossians 3:13: "bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." Let Your healing flow over any wounds, and restore their soul.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy in this life. The thief comes only to destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Your Word and command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name. You are our strong tower, and we run to You for safety and shelter.

Lord, we also thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this dear one would continue to grow in their relationship with You, walking in the light of Your truth and experiencing the fullness of life that You offer. May they find their identity, purpose, and hope in You alone.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. You are not alone in this journey. The Lord hears your cries and is already at work on your behalf. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and trust in His promises. He is faithful, and His love for you is unshakable. If there are specific areas of sin or struggle that you feel convicted about, do not hesitate to confess them to the Lord and seek godly counsel from fellow believers. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for you!

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. We’re praying alongside you today.

When we ask the Lord to heal unforgiveness, it can be easy to think that forgiveness must feel complete and tidy right away, that every sting should vanish the moment we hand it over. But the Scriptures teach us something gentle and realistic: there is often a gap between our sincere decision to forgive and the slow emotional work of releasing deep hurt. The choice to let go is real and God-honoring, even while the wound still aches. You don’t have to pretend the pain doesn’t exist. Our Father is patient with the process, and He walks with you in the ache.

Since you specifically asked for healing in this area, one concrete step that might help is to find a quiet moment each morning this week and sit with Jesus for a few minutes. Tell Him plainly what still hurts, and then ask Him to fill that space with His own peace. You don’t have to force a feeling, just be present with Him and trust that He is untangling what you cannot. Many of us have found that this kind of honest, daily releasing slowly lifts a weight we thought we’d carry forever.

We’re grateful you’re turning toward God’s rest and deliverance, not inward on yourself. He is for you, and His name is higher than any darkness pressing in.

Please join us as we pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You for this child of Yours who longs for peace, rest, and a clean heart. You see every place where unforgiveness lingers, and You know the sleepless nights and the wrestling. Quiet their soul now with Your presence. Bring a deep, settled release that goes beyond their own effort. Where the enemy would stir anxiety or shame, speak Your authoritative peace. Lift the load, and let them breathe freely again, confident that their sins are forgiven and their days are held by You. In Your mighty name, Amen.

You speak of deliverance, rest, peace, and forgiveness, and well you may, for these are the very jewels that Christ bestows upon all who trust in Him. The passage you have laid before the Lord, that every knee shall bow to Jesus, is a grand foundation for such prayers, for it declares His absolute sovereignty and the certainty that He is able to save to the uttermost. Let your soul take firm hold of this: the Father has given Him a name above every name, and at that name every enemy must flee. When you plead for deliverance from evil, you are asking what He delights to give. He has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own dear Son. No pit is too deep for that almighty hand to pluck you forth, and no chain of sin can resist the command, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.”

The peace you crave is not a mere truce with trouble, but the very peace of God which passes all understanding. It comes alone from the Lord, who blesses His people with peace. But mark this: He does not give it to those who remain in rebellion. If you would have this peace, you must come to Jesus, who is our peace, resting in His atoning sacrifice alone. Has your soul done this? There is no other resting-place. And as for rest, it is a gift that follows upon faith, a rest from the burden of sin in justification, and a growing rest from the power of sin in sanctification. You pray for deliverance, but have you learned that deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from its power are both the work of God? Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for both. The same ransom that blots out transgression also breaks the yoke of evil habits.

Forgiveness is a divine act, none can remit sin but God only. But what a mercy it is that He says, “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions.” If you come with a penitent heart, trembling for fear, yet desiring mercy, there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. The blood of Jesus has made a full atonement, and through that rent veil you may draw near with a heart sprinkled from an evil conscience. Do not think that your sins disqualify you; rather, let them drive you to the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness.

Now, as for your afflictions, the sore chastenings you may be enduring, remember, they spring not from the dust. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace, and He sits as a Refiner at the door. This is a great comfort, for it means your trials come from a Father’s hand, not an enemy’s sword. Chastening is not punishment; it is the rod of love, designed to make you a partaker of His holiness. After such dealings, the believer’s conduct is to live and declare the works of the Lord. Let gratitude rise from your lips, and let your life speak His praise.

One word more: you ask forgiveness for your own sins and healing for any unforgiveness you harbor. This is well, for if you will not forgive, you cannot expect the Father’s smile. Lay hold of the promise, and by an act of instant faith, come now and rest in Jesus. He will give you rest, rest from the servile toils of self-righteousness, rest in His finished work. Then, as you abide in Him, the Law of your God will be in your heart, keeping you from evil and guiding your steps. The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell therein forever, preserved by the Lord who loves judgment and forsakes not His saints. Depart from evil, do good, and let your whole life be a declaration that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness. But consider this: the peace that truly matters is not merely a quiet feeling, but a state of harmony with God and with your neighbor. The God of love and peace will be with you only when you are of one mind and live in peace with others. If some part of your life is at war, how can the whole be at rest? Peace is the mother of all good things; without it, everything is useless. Strive then to be a peacemaker, for then you are called a son of God.

Now, you pray also for forgiveness of your sins, and that is right. But do you know what you are asking? The best thing is to avoid sin from the beginning. Yet if you have fallen, the next is to feel it keenly and amend yourself. But how will you be grateful for pardon unless you see the size of the debt? Tell therefore your offenses in particular, not in a general and careless way, but make mention of them, just as in the Oblation we bear up our sins and say, “Whether we have sinned voluntarily or involuntarily, do Thou forgive.” Christ Himself bore our sins, taking them from men and carrying them to the Father, not to condemn us, but to obtain forgiveness. If we will not even enter on the thought of our own sins, what forgiveness can we possibly obtain? For if we do not know them, how shall we learn the greatness of the benefit?

Remember the servant who owed ten thousand talents. He only asked for a delay, but the master, moved with compassion, gave him more than he asked, full remission of the entire debt. So our Lord is ready to forgive, but He desires that you first acknowledge your need. He wants you to contribute something, even if it is only the entreaty, so that you not go away without the crown of His mercy. And if you are blessed to receive forgiveness by grace, how much greater is that blessedness than any reward of works! Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven; there all shame is removed, and much glory is given.

You ask also to be healed of unforgiveness. This is necessary, for if you do not forgive your brother, how can you expect the God of love to forgive you? The peacemakers are sons of God; the makers of disturbance are sons of the devil. Therefore, follow peace with all men, and holiness. For without holiness no one shall see the Lord. Rejoice, be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Then every evil will be removed, and you will find the deliverance and rest you seek.

You are crying out for the very things that the exalted Christ delights to give. That passage from Philippians reminds us that Jesus bears the name above every name and that every knee will bow to Him. This means every force of evil, every source of turmoil, and every lingering chain of sin must ultimately yield to His authority. So when you ask Him to rebuke this evil and remove it, you are standing on solid ground. He has already triumphed, and in His name you can command the darkness to flee.

But there is something deeper than just deliverance. Many people have been brought out of bondage and have peace with God through forgiveness, yet they never enter into the full rest He promises, the peace of God that guards the heart and mind. That rest is not found in fighting harder or perfecting yourself. It is found in ceasing from your own frantic works and trusting completely in His finished work on the cross. God rested after creation, not because He was tired, but because the work was complete. In the same way, Christ’s sacrifice is finished. You are called to enter that rest by faith, to stop striving as if your acceptance depends on your performance, and to fix your mind steadfastly on Him. When you look away from the chaos of the world and onto Jesus, He keeps you in perfect peace.

You also asked for forgiveness and healing from any unforgiveness. Know that God’s forgiveness is total. He does not merely set your sins aside; He removes them as far as the east is from the west. He never digs them up again. Let that reality sink in, because we often imagine God to be like us, holding a grudge with the handle of the hatchet still showing. True forgiveness imitates the Father. As you have been washed completely clean, you can let go of every offense against you. Bury it fully and leave nothing protruding to grab hold of later. That is the path to a sound mind and a heart at rest.

Do not be deceived by voices that promise peace while you continue in any way of evil, for there is no rest for the wicked. But you have turned to the Lord, and His wisdom is peaceable. Walk in the fear of the Lord, depart from evil, and your soul will find that easy yoke and light burden. The war is over. You are no longer running from God but yielding to Him. In that surrender is not only deliverance but glorious, unshakable rest.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you, lifting your heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father. Your words, rooted in the powerful truth of Philippians 2:9-11, remind us of the authority and victory we have in the name of Jesus. We have continued to pray for your deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

If the Lord has moved in your situation—if you’ve experienced His healing touch, His peace that surpasses understanding, or the freedom that comes from forgiveness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing and encouragement to others who are also seeking Him.

If, however, the battle still rages and you haven’t yet seen the fullness of His answer, we invite you to share your request again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer, interceding on your behalf, and believing with you for God’s breakthrough. Let us continue to lift you up, knowing that our Father is faithful and that His timing is perfect.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May His presence surround you, His peace guard your heart, and His grace sustain you in every moment. We pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
