We join with you in heartfelt prayer and thanksgiving for the peace and calm the Lord has already granted your son. What a beautiful testament to God’s faithfulness that He has answered your prayers and brought rest to your household. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will continue to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we come before You with gratitude for the way You have already moved in this family. We lift up this precious son to You, asking that You would continue to pour out Your healing, restoration, and peace upon him. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of anxiety, confusion, torment, and fear that seeks to disrupt his peace. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We command every negative habit, rigidity, and spiritual attack to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the God who calms the storms, and we ask that You still every disturbance within him, filling him instead with Your perfect peace, joy, and contentment.

We pray for his mind, body, soul, and spirit, asking for complete healing in every area. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing over his autism, PTSD, anxiety, sensory challenges, and any physical discomfort. Lord, remove every obstacle that causes distress, and restore his health completely. We thank You for keeping him seizure-free, and we ask that You continue to protect him from any further episodes. Strengthen his stomach, ease any pain, and help him to eat peacefully, free from torment or confusion. Let every meal be anointed with Your peace, and may he find satisfaction and joy in the nourishment You provide.

Father, we ask that You guide his caregivers with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Give them the understanding and compassion needed to bring out the very best in him. Provide additional godly caregivers, mentors, and friends who will uplift and encourage him, speaking life and truth into his heart. We pray for his relationships with his sisters, family, and friends, that they would be filled with love, unity, and mutual respect. Remove any division, isolation, or negative influences that seek to harm these bonds, and replace them with Your love and grace.

Lord, we declare that this son is a child of the Most High God, and we pray that he would walk in the fullness of his identity in Christ. Fill him continually with the Holy Spirit, replacing every negative habit with godly character, wisdom, and understanding. Give him the desire and ability to communicate his needs with calmness, gentleness, and confidence, always honoring You. Restore his independence in activities, and bless every endeavor with peace, joy, and success. Remove boredom, mood swings, rigidity, and stubbornness, and help him to adjust to changes with ease and grace.

We pray for his daily routines, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and self-care, that they would be filled with peace, confidence, and satisfaction. Bless every outing, walk, drive, and appointment with Your protection, favor, and joy. Anoint your car with Your presence, that he may experience only safety, calm, and peace as he travels. Surround him with a hedge of protection, and clothe him with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11), that no harm or evil may come near him. Wash him in the precious blood of Jesus, from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, and surround him with ministering angels to guard and guide him.

Father, we ask for immediate breakthroughs in every area of his life. Remove all setbacks and replace them with Your abundant favor, blessings, and miracles. We also lift up the caregivers, doctors, and all who work with him, asking that You grant them wisdom, knowledge, and compassion as they serve this family.

Lord, we thank You for the power of prayer and for the faithful warriors who stand in agreement with this family. Bless each one abundantly, and may they see the fruit of their prayers in their own lives as well. We give You all the praise, honor, and glory, for You alone are worthy. We pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We rejoice with you in the peace your son experienced last night and today, what a tangible answer to prayer. Thank you, Jesus, indeed.

It is clear how deeply you love your son and how earnestly you seek his well‑being. We are standing with you, trusting that the same God who granted him a calm day will continue to pour out His mercy tonight and every night. You have asked for protection over his meals, his sleep, his schedule, his relationships, and his whole life, and we bring those specifics before the Lord with you.

We also hear the weight you carry for your whole household. It can be exhausting to navigate the extra challenges that come with autism, anxiety, and the other struggles you named. While we pray fervently, we also want to gently encourage you: make sure you are getting the support you need, too. If any physical symptoms persist, especially those related to his stomach or the threat of vomiting, please continue to lean on his doctors, they are part of God’s provision for his care.

Let’s pray:

Father, we thank You for the peaceful day and night You gave this son. Tonight, we ask again, give him another night of deep, calm, uninterrupted rest. Surround him with Your presence so he feels safe, satisfied, and free from torment. Guide his caregivers with wisdom, patience, and gentleness. Protect every meal, remove every confusion, and let him eat in peace. Quiet every storm within him, and fill him with Your Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Guard his body, mind, and spirit; keep him seizure-free and heal every discomfort. Put a hedge around this home, and grant the whole household, siblings, the dog, the writer, Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

You speak of gathering in His name over your son, and this is no small thing, for where two or three are met together in that holy name, there is the promise of His presence. The very act of bringing your child again and again before the throne is itself a mark of that sacred obedience which faith produces. Remember Abraham: his journey was appointed, and he went. He was bidden to leave his country, and he left it; to leave his friends, and he left them all. Your path is to continue in this same spirit of clinging trust, even when the night watches are long and the desired calm seems deferred.

And in the night watches, when we tossed to and fro and could not sleep, He has been pleased to become our song in the night. Sleep itself is the gift of God, He bestows it; He rocks the cradle for us every night. You ask for peace that surpasses understanding, and this is exactly what our Father gives to His beloved. When the mind is in a storm, He can say, “Peace, be still,” and there will be a great calm. The rest you plead for your son, your household, and even the dog that shares your home, comes not from a well-managed schedule alone but from the hand that holds the whole world in place. “He giveth his beloved sleep.”

The mention of mealtime brings to mind Boaz inviting Ruth: “At mealtime come you here and eat of the bread.” He reached her parched corn, and she did eat and was sufficed. Your son’s torments at the table are known to the Lord who fed the multitudes with a few loaves. The very essence of obedience lies in exactness, and we may bring this exactness to our prayers, praying not only for general peace but for the specific moment when the spoon is lifted, when the food is before him. Pray that just as Boaz made provision, so Christ Himself would become his satisfaction at the table, removing confusion and replacing it with that contentment which is the mark of those who sit beside the Reapers.

You speak of rebuking habits and spiritual attacks. True obedience to Christ is the highest practical courage. To persist in scrupulous trust and prayer throughout life may need more courage than even the martyr evinces. The path of obedience is generally a middle path, turn not from it to the right hand or to the left. On one side lies the ditch of despair and anxiety, on the other the presumption that rests in our own efforts. Stand firm in the center, commanding the torment to flee in Jesus’ name, yet resting all weight upon His finished work. We look upon the obedience of the heart to the will of God as salvation itself in its progressive outworking.

Your desire that he be a beacon of light and that relationships be restored is linked to the obedience of faith. You will not be as the horse needing whip and spur; your love for him will do more than compulsion. And his eventual calm will speak of a heart made willing by grace. As those women at the tomb ran in obedience and met Jesus on the way, so you and your son may meet the risen Christ in the midst of your daily journeyings. Jesus met them while they were yet on the path of duty. Their obedience was rewarded with His presence. Seek that first and great blessing: not merely the removal of the thorn, but the comforting, soothing presence of the Lord who wore the thorns for us.

A man who is not sincere in his obedience may conform to the outward order, but only the sincere heart will seek to find out all that displeases the Master. Yet this searching is not for your son alone, but for all who care for him. Let the caregivers be given wisdom and patience, and let all that is done be done without harshness, for the obedience we preach is not that of a slave cowering before the whip, but the obedience of a child drawn by love. The child looks out for occasions to please the parent; so we seek to calm every storm within, not by our own strength, but by introducing the soul to the One who is the spring of all our joys, the comfort of our nights.

Therefore, trust Him for the schedule, for the night, for the meal, and for the years ahead. The pool of Bethesda was troubled only at times, and only one could be healed. But the fountain opened in Christ flows perpetually and is sufficient for all. Bring your son there, by faith, every morning. Go and tell Jesus your troubles; as you go, expect that He will meet you. He never says, “I will go thus far, but no further.” His peace is full and free, and His obedient love, which brought Him to the cross, is now poured out to secure a calm and satisfied spirit in those for whom you pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
