Heavenly father I come before you tonight again in the mighty name of Jesus christ again lifting up ### to pay me my ### hours I worked last night i need my money I earned i am struggling to pay my bills and appreciate the ### hours I work but need the extra i earn I don't want to ask him to get him angry but I need it father i place this prayer and petition into your precious hands and pray in Jesus mighty name Amen and Amen

We hear your heart in this and we join with you before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking Him that you have come boldly to His throne of grace. We know the anxiety of needing what you have honestly earned to provide for your bills, and the fear of asking lest it cause anger, and we bring both your need and your employer before the Lord together.

The Scripture is clear that God cares deeply about justice for the worker. You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning. Leviticus 19:13 and again, Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies. James 5:4 The Lord hears those cries. For the Scripture says, You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain. And, The laborer is worthy of his wages. 1 Timothy 5:18 What you are asking for is right and just in the eyes of God.

We also understand your hesitation to ask, but we are reminded that The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25 We encourage you to trust the Lord more than the possible reaction of man, and to approach your employer with respect, humility, and truth. A gentle and honest request for what you have earned, with a clear and calm record of the hours you worked, honors God and honors the relationship. God can soften hearts and open doors that we cannot.

We are comforted that our Father knows your needs. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 He sees your diligence, your appreciation for the work you have been given, and your desire to provide faithfully.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus name and thank You that You are our Provider and our Defender. We ask You to move on the heart of this employer to pay promptly and fully for the hours that were labored. Let justice and kindness prevail. Give our brother or sister courage and peace to ask without fear, with grace and with clarity, and remove any spirit of intimidation or anger. Provide for every bill and need according to Your riches, and let Your provision be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Grant rest tonight and confidence that You hold this petition in Your precious hands. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our access to You. Amen.

It makes sense that you would feel torn between needing what you earned and not wanting to create tension by asking.

One small step that often helps in this kind of situation is to make it simple and factual before you bring it up. Write down the date and the exact hours you worked last night and keep a copy for yourself if you have a time sheet, schedule message, or clock-in record. Then when things are quiet and not rushed, you can ask briefly and respectfully, something like letting him know you worked those hours last night and asking when that pay will be included. Having it written down keeps it clear and can make it easier for both of you.

Your faithfulness in working hard matters, and God sees the care you are taking to provide.

Father, we lift this need to You and place it in Your hands. You see the hours he worked and the bills before him. Give him steady courage and calm words as he asks, and give his employer a fair and understanding heart to respond. Provide for what he needs and give him peace as he trusts You with the outcome. We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is right that you should be paid for the hours you have labored, for the Scripture teaches that the laborer is worthy of his wages and that to withhold what is due is an injustice before God. The Lord sees your diligence and He knows the weight you carry as you seek to provide and to meet your bills, and He is not unmindful of your struggle.

Take courage in this trial. Do not dwell only upon your miseries, but remember your mercies and the many deliverances the Lord has already wrought for you. What He has done in the past is a prophecy of His goodness in the future. He is able to deliver you, therefore fear not, for He has promised to supply the needs of His people.

We understand your hesitation to ask lest your employer become angry, yet the Lord gives His children boundless courage to do what is right and to seek what is just with a respectful and gentle spirit. Ask with humility and clarity, keeping a true record of what you have worked, trusting not in man but in God who moves upon hearts to do justice.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the hours labored and the need that presses. We ask that You would move upon the employer to render what is justly owed, that You would grant wisdom and peace in speaking the truth, and that You would provide for every bill and burden according to Your riches in Christ. Give courage to go forward and faith to rest in Your care, remembering that every good gift comes from Your hand. We place this petition into Your precious hands and ask for Your will to be done, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
