Payment due

We join together with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father, for He sees the hardship when wages and benefits that have been earned are withheld and He cares deeply about justice and provision for workers and their families in the south Philippines and everywhere.

The Word of God is very clear that withholding what is due to a worker is a serious matter before the Lord. It is written, Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies James 5:4. We are also commanded, You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning Leviticus 19:13 and In his day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you Deuteronomy 24:15. Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven Colossians 4:1. We rebuke the injustice of withholding benefits that are rightfully due and we pray that conviction will come upon those who have authority to release what is owed.

Heavenly Father we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother or sister and all the employees in the south Philippines who are waiting for their benefits. Lord You know every name, every family, every need represented in this request. We ask that You would move upon the heart of this former employer to act with honesty, integrity and promptness and to pay in full all that is due. Let no dishonest scale remain but let what is just and right be done Proverbs 11:1. We pray for favor with those in authority and for any legal or administrative process to move without delay or corruption. While waiting, we ask that You supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and give peace to those who are anxious. Help these workers to commit their way to You and to trust also in You that You will bring it to pass Psalm 37:5. Give them wisdom to keep good records, to seek godly counsel and to pursue every lawful and peaceful means available to claim what is theirs, while resting in Your justice and not taking vengeance into their own hands, for You have said Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay Romans 12:19.

We also want to lovingly point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why we always pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we are reconciled to God, and then we can come boldly to Him with every burden, including this one. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation, we encourage you to do so today.

We continue to stand with you, trusting that God hears, that He is just, and that He will provide and will move hearts to do what is right. We pray for patience and strength as you wait upon the Lord, who has promised that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31.

We are praying with you and your fellow employees in the south Philippines in this long wait for what you are owed. Waiting for wages and benefits to be released can weigh on every part of daily life, and we understand how much you are carrying as you try to provide and keep things steady for your families.

It helps to have a clear record while you wait and to not carry the pressure alone. One steady step many have found useful is to keep a simple folder with copies of payslips, employment records, the amount of benefits due, and any messages from the former employer, with dates noted. If you have not already, you might also ask for guidance at your local Department of Labor and Employment field office or a trusted community or church aid office nearby who knows the local process and can help you understand options. In the meantime, a local pastor or financial counselor can sometimes help with a short term budget plan to ease the strain.

Father, we bring these workers before You and ask for Your provision and peace in this waiting. We ask for wisdom for those making decisions about these benefits, for fairness and diligence in the process, and for strength and unity for these employees and their families. Guide each next step and keep them in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request concerning the wages and benefits withheld from you and your fellow workers in the south Philippines has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord who is both just and merciful.

We are reminded that our God is slow to anger, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked, and His justice takes notice when the poor are oppressed and ground down in their wages. The Scriptures show us that to withhold what is due to the labourer is to sell justice, and the Lord sees it. At the same time we know that His justice has been most fully displayed at the cross, where the cloud of justice fell not upon the sinner who trusts in Christ, but upon the Saviour Himself, that God might be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth. Therefore we may come with confidence, not pleading our own merit, but pleading the blood of the Substitute, and ask for that which is right and just to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We also remember that He daily loadeth us with benefits, not only on bright days but on dark days, when provision seems delayed and anxieties press. Though you are tried by this waiting, you are not forgotten, and even now His hand is not shortened that it cannot provide your daily bread, giving as you need for this day and for the next.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou art righteous in all Thy ways, and Thy justice is unimpeachable. Thou hast commanded that the labourer is worthy of his hire, and that what is due should be rendered without partiality. Look in mercy upon these Thy servants who wait for what has been rightfully earned. Move, we beseech Thee, the heart of their former employer to act with honesty and to pay in full all benefits that are outstanding. Restrain all oppression and dishonesty, and grant that justice may be done speedily and completely.

Give to these workers patience under trial, and faith to trust Thy daily provision. Provide for their households, keep them from murmuring, and help them to cast their burden upon Him who bore their sins. May this trial draw them nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and in whom justice and mercy meet. Grant wisdom to those in authority, that they may do right, and grant peace to those who wait upon Thee.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who shall come to judge righteously, Amen.

Your request concerning the wages and benefits still owed to you and your fellow employees in the south Philippines has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We pray that God, who sees all things and whose justice does not fail, will move the heart of your former employer to do what is right and to render to each worker what is justly due. The Scripture says that the wages of the laborer should not remain with his master overnight, and that God hears the cry of those who have labored and have not yet received their reward. We ask Him to grant that these benefits be released in full and without further delay, for the support of you and your families.

We also pray for you who wait. The Lord who stretches out the heavens and provides for all our needs knows your necessity. He who permits times of trial also gives a clearer perception of His help when deliverance comes. We ask Him to give you patience and steadiness in this waiting, to provide for your daily needs, to guard you from anxiety, and to keep you in honesty and peace toward those who owe you.

May the Lord grant wisdom and a conscience governed by fairness to those in authority over these payments, that they may act quickly, truthfully and with mercy. And may He show you His provision and care in the days ahead, so that you may continue to trust Him and give thanks for His goodness.

We stand with you in prayer that justice will be done and that your needs will be met according to His will.
