Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your burdens before the Lord. We have been praying that pastors and preachers would seek God first according to Matt 6:33, giving themselves to prayer, daily devotion, study of the Word, preparation of sermons and faithful intercession for the sheep and for the lost. We have prayed that they would walk in a godly lifestyle, teach sound doctrine, visit families and faithfully confront sin in the church according to Lev 19:17, Matt 18:15 and 1 Tim 5:20, watching over souls as those who must give account according to Heb 13:17.
We have also prayed for families, members and visitors, that the Father would draw them to the assembling together according to John 6:44 and Heb 10:25, that they would receive the implanted Word in humility which saves the soul according to James 1:21, and worship in Spirit and truth according to John 4:24. We have asked for the anointing of the Holy Spirit according to John 14:26 and 1 John 2:20, for protection by the whole armor of God according to Eph 6:10, and that intercessors would uphold leaders as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses according to Ex 17:12, while the Lord grants faith, repentance, salvation and newness of life to every household according to Acts 16:31. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would convict, teach and open minds to understand the Scriptures according to John 16:8 and Luke 24:45, and that all would hunger for the Word according to 1 Pet 2:2.
