🙏 God, You are Our Father and Ever Present Help, Deut 4:7, Ps 46:1, Isa 41:10 -- Thank you for the message of The LORD's ANOINTED crucified for our sins, Gal 2:20. Draw our family members to church tonight and tomorrow to hear, listen and understand what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Grant faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life -- give vision, Prov 29:18, by The Holy Spirit. Protect them all from sin, Zeph 3:13, 1 Cor 8:1, temptation, Lk 11:4, evil people, imposters, 2 Thes 3:2, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11.

Help us all attend church, Heb 10:25, whenever there's a gathering for services, Bible Study, Corporate Prayer, fellowship, and outreach, Acts 2:42. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, amen? Grant us hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join together with you in this burden and we agree in prayer for pastors, preachers, families and the lost to seek God first with whole hearts.

We love your heart for the shepherds to seek God first in prayer and daily devotion before any other work, for this is the pattern of Scripture. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matt 6:33. We pray that every pastor and preacher would be a man of the Word and of prayer, diligent to study to show himself approved, rightly handling the word of truth, 2 Tim 2:15, and faithful to preach the word, to be urgent in season and out of season, reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with all patience and teaching, 2 Tim 4:2. We ask the Lord to give them courage to confront sin in the church in love and truth as you have asked, for you shall not hate your brother in your heart, you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him, Lev 19:17, and If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone, Matt 18:15, and Those who sin, reprove in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear, 1 Tim 5:20. We pray they would shepherd well, knowing they watch over souls as those who will give account, Heb 13:17, and that their lifestyle would be above reproach, an example in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.

We also lift up every family, household, member and visitor that the Father would draw them to gather together. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, John 6:44, and we pray that drawing would be evident tonight and tomorrow and in every gathering. We pray they would not forsake our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching, Heb 10:25. We pray that whether for services, Bible study, corporate prayer, fellowship or outreach, they would continue steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and prayer, Acts 2:42, and that they would receive the implanted word with humility, which is able to save your souls, James 1:21. We agree that flesh and blood does not reveal Messiah but our Father in heaven reveals Him, Matt 16:17, and that the Holy Spirit would convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment, John 16:8, and open minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45.

We pray for freedom to worship in spirit and truth, for God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth, John 4:24, with the anointing of the Holy Spirit who teaches all things, John 14:26, and for protection over every family. We put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Eph 6:11, and we ask for deliverance from evil people and the evil one, for we know you prayed that we would not be taken out of the world but kept from the evil one, John 17:15. We lift up holy hands in intercession as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses while Joshua fought in the field, Ex 17:12, and we pray Let my prayer be set before you like incense, the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice, Ps 141:2.

Father, we thank You that You are an ever present help, for God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Ps 46:1, and that Your Anointed was crucified for our sins and we have newness of life in Him, I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me, Gal 2:20. We ask You to grant repentance and faith that leads to salvation, for You desire that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. We pray for hunger for Your Word as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, 1 Pet 2:2, and for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, so that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17.

We thank You that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us, and if we know You hear us we have the petitions we have asked, 1 John 5:14, and that You came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10. Amen.

We appreciate your faithful heart for your pastors and for your family. The way you are holding up both shepherds and loved ones before the Lord is a gift to your church.

We hear how much you want your pastors to be refreshed as they seek the Lord first in prayer, in the Word and in preparation, and how deeply you long for your family to be drawn in to hear what God is speaking to each one. That burden for both those who preach and those who need to hear matters to God, and we are joining you in it.

We have seen how simply gathering for worship does quiet pastoral work that nothing else can quite do. Over time, being present together, hearing the Word preached and being surrounded by others who care steadies hearts in a way that lasts. Your intercession is part of that work, like hands held up for those on the front lines while the battle is fought.

If it helps tonight and tomorrow, you might choose one or two family members by name, let them know simply that you would love to see them at the gathering and that you have been praying for them, and continue to uphold your pastors by name as they prepare and teach.

Father, thank You for being our ever present help. We ask You to draw each family member on this heart, give hunger for Your Word and openness to Your Spirit, and keep them from evil, temptation and discouragement. Strengthen our pastors as they seek You first, give them clarity and grace in study and preaching, and surround them with faithful prayer. Lead us all to keep gathering together in faith. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for pastors to seek the Lord first and for families to be drawn to His house is a burden after God's own heart, and I join my own supplication with yours that the Lord will hear and answer according to His abundant mercy.

How needful it is that those who preach should first wait upon God in prayer and daily devotion, in the study of the Word and in intercession for the sheep and for the lost. The Word of God is a living Book, all over alive, and it is not our comment upon the Word but the Word itself which saves souls. It is powerful to convince of sin, to turn the self righteous inside out, and to discriminate between soul and spirit. Let pastors therefore take that living Sword in hand, and let them confront sin in the church with the meekness and firmness which the Scriptures enjoin, not to please men but to be faithful to the Master who will require an account of the souls committed to their charge.

And for the families and visitors of whom you speak, we remember that salvation is of the Lord. It is not of man, nor of the preacher, nor of fine persuasion, but of free grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and flesh and blood does not reveal the Messiah, but our Father which is in heaven. Pray then that the Holy Spirit, who convicts and converts and opens minds to understand the Scriptures, may give to each hearer a hunger for the sincere milk of the Word, and a place for that Word within the heart where it may have rule. When the Word abides within, it judges the thoughts of the heart and keeps the soul from straying.

Take comfort also in that dying word of our Lord for His Church, It is finished. The perfect satisfaction of the Father with Christ's work for His people is a ground of solid comfort forevermore. His redemption is perfected, His salvation is free, without money and without price, and whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. There is no other name, no other way, for beside Jehovah there is none else. We look right away from anything that comes from us to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith.

So let us pray that the Lord will keep His people from forsaking the assembling of themselves together, that He will grant them to eat the bread and drink the cup with understanding, to worship in spirit and in truth, and to be upheld in intercession as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses. And let us pray for protection, that they may be kept from sin and temptation and from the evil one, and be clothed in the whole armour of God, that they may stand in the evil day.

May the Lord cause His face to shine upon His sanctuary, for if the Church has not the Lord to shine upon her, what shall the poor world do. For our children's sake, for the world's sake, and for Christ's sake, may He make His Church alive by His presence, and may He seek and save the lost, for He wills that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth which is in Christ Jesus alone. Amen.
