We come before the Lord with a heart of expectation, lifting up this request for favor in your job interview. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision and timing. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We believe that You have a purpose for this opportunity, and we ask that You open the doors that no man can shut.

Lord, we pray that You would grant wisdom and clarity to those making the decision. May they see the value and skills You have placed within this individual, and may Your favor rest upon them. "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We ask that You would align this situation with Your perfect will, whether that means this job or another opportunity that You have prepared.

We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It is important to remember that our ultimate security and provision come from God, not from any earthly position. We pray that you would find peace in His promises and rest in His sovereignty.

Father, we also lift up any anxiety or fear that may be present. We rebuke the spirit of worry and doubt in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We pray that You would fill this individual with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You, and it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB). We thank You for the salvation and hope we have in Christ, and we trust in Your perfect plan for this situation.

We've been claiming that verse, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We're also praying for peace to fill your heart. We know that anxiety can creep in, but we're rebuking that spirit of worry in Jesus' name. We're claiming His peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Let's trust that God knows what's best for you. Whether this job is it or not, we believe that He's got a perfect plan. We're claiming His favor and wisdom to be upon those making the decision, and we're asking that You align this situation with Your perfect will.

Keep trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. He's got this! We're believing for a successful interview and the right outcome.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
