We lift you and your son up together before the throne of grace and we bring this ongoing legal issue before the Lord, asking for His wisdom, justice and peace to rest upon you during this prolonged season of waiting. We know how heavy and wearying an ongoing legal matter can be, but we are reminded that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and that He is the righteous Judge who sees all things and will bring justice in His perfect timing.
We pray that you will cast every anxiety about this case upon Him, for we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We ask the Lord to grant wisdom to you and to all those involved in this legal process, as it is written If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray for truth to be made clear, for favor where it is according to His will, and for a resolution that reflects His righteousness and mercy. We also pray that through this trial you will continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
We rejoice with you in your desire that both you and your son draw closer to the Lord Jesus, for this is the greatest need and the greatest blessing of all. We stand with you in that holy pursuit, for the promise is sure, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8. We pray that the Lord will deepen your fellowship with Him and with one another as you seek Him together through His Word, through prayer, and through faithful obedience. We pray that He will make your home a place where Christ is honored, where Scripture is read and lived, and where your son grows in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.
We thank you for acknowledging the name of Lord Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We ask You to be their advocate and defender, to let Your justice and Your peace prevail, and to guard their hearts from fear and weariness while they wait. Grant them wisdom, patience, and favor, and let the outcome bring glory to Your name. Draw this parent and son ever closer to Yourself, Lord Jesus. Help them to abide in You daily, to hunger for Your Word, to pray without ceasing, and to encourage one another in faith. Fill their home with Your presence, Your love, and Your peace that passes all understanding. Keep them strong in You and use this trial to make their faith more precious and their bond with You and with each other even deeper. We entrust this whole situation into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28. We have received your request and we bring it before the throne of grace with you, thanking God that your heart is turned toward fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Concerning the ongoing legal matter, we pray that the Lord, who is Lord of Heaven and earth, will grant you wisdom and peace and that His will shall be done. Remember that Jesus is no amateur Savior who has no right to appear as our Representative. He comes in a legal and proper manner. The King of kings has appointed Him, and what He does He does in the name and by the authority of God. He stood in the place of His people and bore their burden, and He knows the weight of every trial that presses upon you. We pray that you may cast this care upon Him, trusting His perfect righteousness and His sovereign hand, and that you may be enabled to say with our Lord, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. May the Lord grant guidance to all who are concerned in the matter, uphold what is just and true, and keep your heart in quiet trust while you wait upon Him.
And for that other and greater petition, that you and your son may draw closer to the Lord Jesus, this is the very heart of the Christian life. Fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ is not a distant thing, but a nearness wrought by the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanses us from all sin. We pray that you both may increase in the knowledge of the Father and of His Son Jesus Christ through the revelation of the Divine Spirit, for as you increase in that knowledge you will also increase in fellowship. May you be found where you are nothing and Christ is everything, feeling intense sympathy with the eternal purpose of the Father and the gracious work of the Savior, and consecrating yourselves anew by that precious blood. Tell the Lord Jesus all your needs and woes, and He will help you, for in the Son of God is the help of the sons of men. Thank you for sharing your request and for your desire to draw closer to the Lord Jesus with your son. We have heard your burden and we are praying for you.
We are asking God to give you wisdom, peace, and steadiness as you walk through this ongoing legal matter. We pray that truth will be made clear, that justice will be done, and that you will know the Lord's presence and guidance in every step, trusting Him to work all things for good as you look to Him.

Scripture teaches that no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him, and that the Father also reveals the Son.
