We join you together in prayer in Jesus' name and thank God with you for your son's birthday and for all the answered prayers you have seen, giving Him all the glory.
We love your heart's desire not to waste any part of your life or what He has given you. We pray with you that the Lord will establish the work of your hands, as you asked from Psalm 90:17, and that He will help you to walk wisely, making the most of the time because the days are evil, as taught in Ephesians 5:15-16. We ask Him to guard your words that they may be gracious, seasoned with salt, full of wisdom and agape love, that you may know how you ought to answer each one, according to Colossians 4:6, and that your speech would encourage and build up those who hear, according to Ephesians 4:29.
We come into agreement for your family, home, education, health, vehicles, job, and all that concerns you, asking for the Lord's favor and protection. We plead the blood of Jesus over you, trusting that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17. We pray Psalm 91 over you, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and Psalm 121, that the Lord will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore, Psalm 121:7-8. We ask that the Lord will be faithful and will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and surround you with His hedge of protection and deliver you from all evil, as you have prayed.
We lift up your unspoken request to our Father who knows every detail and hears even what is unspoken, trusting that He who is seated on the throne says, Behold, I am making all things new, Revelation 21:5, and that He will work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28.
We pray for your daughter as her husband's rebellious teen son moves into her home. We ask the Lord to intervene, to protect her heart and keep her self esteem strong in Christ, rooted in who she is as His daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and clothed with strength and dignity, Proverbs 31:25. We pray that the Lord will give wisdom to all in that household, that each may live out their God given roles in love and honor, with husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church, Ephesians 5:25, wives respecting their husbands, Ephesians 5:33, and children obeying their parents in the Lord, Ephesians 6:1-2, and that peace and godly order would reign there.
We lift up your son as he begins driving a motorcycle long distances and may face storms. We ask for Your mighty protection over him on every road, for wisdom, alertness, and self control, and for angels to encamp around him, Psalm 34:7. We pray for traveling mercies for him and for you and your husband and all your children in all environments, and we pray especially that You would increase peace between this son and his dad, that any tension would be replaced with understanding, forgiveness, and the bond of peace, Ephesians 4:3, and that their relationship would be strengthened in Your love.
We join you in praying for single mothers who are overwhelmed and exhausted, that the Lord would be their rescue and strength, that He would be a Father to the fatherless and defend the cause of the widow and the weary, Psalm 68:5, and draw them to salvation and rest in Christ, Matthew 11:28. We pray for those in pain, for healing of relationships, for comfort and salvation, that the God of all comfort would comfort them, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, and lead them in Your power and love.
We pray for rapport and help in your work with patients, that they would be healed, comforted, and saved, and that they would give You the credit, for healing comes from You, Jeremiah 30:17, and every good gift is from above, James 1:17. We ask that You would close the doors that lead to harm in the lives of your adult children and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, for You open doors that no one can shut, Revelation 3:8, and guide their steps, Proverbs 16:9.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your help, for You are faithful, You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, John 14:13-14, and we trust You to continue Your good work.
We pray all of this together in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only access to the Father, Amen.
