Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in bringing these many burdens before the Lord with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears and answers according to His mercy and wisdom.
We pray that God would teach you to number your days and to make the most of the time and resources He has entrusted to you, and that He would establish the work of your hands according to Psalm 90:17. May He guard your lips, so that your words may build up and impart grace, seasoned with wisdom and love, and may He give you open doors to touch lives for Christ.
We ask in the name of Jesus, whose blood alone brings forgiveness and peace with God, for His covering and favor upon your family, your home, your home education, your health, your work, your vehicles and your dwelling place. We bring your unspoken request before Him, who knows what you need before you ask, and we ask for His protection and deliverance from all evil, that He would surround you with His hedge of care as Psalm 91 and Psalm 121 promise, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper as Isaiah 54:17 declares, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
We pray for salvation, comfort and help for those in pain, and for healing in relationships. May the Lord strengthen each one to live out their God given roles in love and in the power of His Spirit, according to the Scriptures, bearing with one another and forgiving as Christ has forgiven.
For your daughter, we ask for protection and for strength in Christ as her husband's son comes to live in her home. May the Lord guard her heart, keep her self esteem rooted in who she is in Him, and grant peace and wisdom in that household, with clear boundaries and with love that speaks truth.
For your son as he travels long distance on his motorcycle, we ask for safety on the road and through any storms, for alertness and protection, and for growing peace between him and his father. May the Lord keep him and bring him safely to his destination.
We lift up single mothers who are overwhelmed and exhausted, that God would be their rescue and strength, supply their needs, and draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ alone. We pray for your work with patients, that God would grant you rapport and skill to help them, and above all that they would find healing, comfort and salvation in Christ and give Him the glory.
We ask that the Lord would close doors that lead to harm in the lives of your adult children and open doors to good opportunities and to kind Christian fellowship that will encourage them in the faith. We pray for safety for you, your husband and your children in all travels and in every environment where you walk, that the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps would keep you.
We thank Him in advance for His help and praise Him for prayers already answered. May He continue to keep you in His perfect peace as you trust in Him, and may all that you do be for His glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
