Son, Protection, healing, ongoing needs

Thank you for sharing so much of your heart and for bringing your family before the Lord with such care. It is good to ask Him that none of what He has given would be wasted, but that He would establish the work of your hands and help you make the most of your time, resources and words for His purposes. That prayer reflects Psalm 90:17, that the favor of the Lord would rest upon you and give lasting value to what you do each day, including the opportunities He gives you to touch other lives with His wisdom and love.

Your trust in the blood of Jesus over your family, home, health, work, vehicles and schooling is placed in the right place. Scripture presents a kinsman redeemer, one who steps in for family when they are too poor or helpless to redeem themselves or their inheritance. That is a picture of what Jesus has done for us. We could not buy ourselves back, but He paid the price Himself so that we might be kept within His family. To plead His blood is to rest in that finished redemption and to ask for His covering and favor to remain upon all that concerns you, including the unspoken request you carry. He knows it fully and hears even what is not put into words.

You asked for salvation, comfort and healing for those in pain, and for relationships to be restored with strength to live out the roles God has given as taught in Scripture. God has always shown His care for the family. He gave each family its own inheritance to keep, He calls us to care first for those in our own household, and He warns that to neglect that responsibility is to deny what we profess. At the same time He teaches that our love for Jesus must be first, above even our closest family ties, so that when family pressures or loyalties pull in different directions, we still follow Him. That ordering does not divide the home, it is what truly holds it together, and it is the foundation for the agape love and wisdom you want your words to carry so they encourage and help others.

For your daughter, as her husband's teenage son comes to live in the home, pray that the Lord will guard her heart and keep her sense of worth rooted in Christ. The family of God is described as fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters treated with all purity, and that kind of stable, respectful love is what every household needs. Ask the Lord to give her wisdom, clear boundaries, and strength to respond with both grace and truth, and to protect her from discouragement while this new arrangement takes shape.

For your son on his birthday and as he travels a long distance on his motorcycle with the possibility of storms, it is right to ask for the protection promised in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, that the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps would keep him in all his ways, and for the promise of Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against God's people will finally prevail, and 1 John 4:4 that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Pray also for growing peace between him and his father, that God would soften hearts and help them honor one another as Scripture instructs.

Your prayers for single mothers who are overwhelmed, for patients to be healed, comforted and saved and to give God the glory, and for your adult children that God would close doors that lead to harm and open doors to good opportunities and kind Christian connections are very much in line with 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, that the Lord is faithful and will guard us from evil. He is able to rescue, to strengthen, and to lead each person to Himself, for He is making all things new as Revelation 21:5 declares.

May the Lord keep you, your husband and your children safe in all your travels and in every environment you enter, surround you with His hedge of protection, deliver you from all evil, and continue to answer prayer according to His mercy. May He establish your work, guard your words, and let His favor and peace rest upon your home today and in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your family before the Lord these past days. We prayed for your son that his birthday was blessed and filled with joy, and we continue to plead the blood of Jesus over him for protection as he drives his motorcycle long distances and for peace to increase between him and his dad. We have prayed for your daughter and her home as her husband's rebellious teen son moves in, asking the Lord to intervene, guard her heart and keep her self esteem strong in Him. We have also brought before the Lord your unspoken request, your home education, health, vehicles, jobs and home, and your desire not to waste any part of what He has given but to see success in the work of your hands according to Ps 90:17 and to make the most of time and resources.

We have joined you in praying for a hedge of protection over your husband, children and yourself in all travels and environments, that the Lord would close the doors that lead to harm for your adult children and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, and for His favor and deliverance from all evil. We have also prayed for the burdens you carried for others, for single moms who are overwhelmed and exhausted, for patients to be healed, comforted and saved, for folks in pain to receive salvation, help and comfort, for relationships to be healed, and for your words to be full of wisdom and agape love to encourage others. We continue to claim Ps 91:11, Ps 121:7, Is 54:17, 1Jn 4:4, 2Thess 3:3 and Rev 21:5 over you and your loved ones.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are still standing with you, asking the Father to surround your family with His protection, to grant favor to your lives, to guide your words, and to make Your love and power known in every situation you mentioned.

We pray this in Jesus Name, asking for His covering, healing and guidance over all you have shared. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
