We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for you and your son. We have continued to lift you both before the Lord for divine intervention and for His favor in that ongoing legal matter.
We have been praying specifically for your son regarding the domestic court trial that has continued for the last three months stemming from that late night verbal argument and misunderstanding with his common law wife. We asked God for truth to prevail and for mercy and justice, since there was no violence and he was detained based solely on her word, and we thanked God for your son's faithfulness in attending every court date required of him. We also prayed for favor before the District Attorney that the charges would be completely dropped and the case fully dismissed.
We also lifted up the tremendous strain this has placed on your family, and we prayed for the protection of your son's livelihood as a legal truck driver, that he would not lose his job, his home, or his ability to provide. We have prayed for you as well, that the Lord would strengthen you and restore you physically and emotionally and give you His peace that passes understanding as promised in Phil 4:7, and that He would remain close to you both as He promises in Psalm 34:18.
We remember that you were trusting God for that critical court date on Thursday morning in August and that you were believing in faith for a breakthrough and for your son to be freed from this burden once and for all. We continue to seek the Lord with you for that complete resolution. We claim the promise that the heart of those in authority is in the hand of the Lord as written in Prov 21:1 and we ask that God would grant favor in that courtroom.
