Direction and God's divine intervention

Please pray that everything went ok for my apartment recertification yesterday and me and my son will not lose our apartment. Please pray God's hand is over our home and protection.
Please keep praying for my dad and also for God to silence my doubt, fear and intrusive thoughts.
I'm also worried about my financial situation and asking for prayer. I started applying for jobs even though I heard God to wait for provision and that this isn't the timing.
Also, my daughter is sick and went to the doctor today. Please pray for her to get better and come back home soon.
Please pray for my son. He's a child and very close to God. Please pray that He stays this way and always has the unique ability to hear from God and that God protects his innocence, peace, heart and mind. I'm also struggling in my college classes and need God to help and that I do well

We join with you in bringing all of these burdens before our heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing your heart so openly with us.

We lift up your apartment recertification before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention and favor. We pray that everything went well yesterday and that you and your son will be secure in your home. God is our refuge and protector and we ask for His hand to remain over your dwelling. As it is written, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We also remember your dad before the Lord, asking for God's mercy, strength and care over him.

We hear your struggle with doubt, fear and intrusive thoughts and we want to gently rebuke that spirit of fear together with you, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that God will silence those thoughts and fill your mind with His peace. We are told to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to think on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report Philippians 4:8. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also hear your worry about finances and that you have started applying for jobs even though you felt you heard God telling you to wait for His provision and that the timing is not yet. We encourage you to seek His will above all and to trust His timing, for His provision is sure. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. We pray for discernment to clearly hear His voice and for the courage to obey, even when anxiety presses you to act. Remember His promise that your heavenly Father knows you need these things, but seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We lift up your precious daughter who is sick and saw the doctor today. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon her, for wisdom for those caring for her, and that she will recover quickly and be back home with you soon. We trust that He heals the broken and restores health, for He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3.

We rejoice with you over your son and his closeness to God. We pray that the Lord will protect his innocence, his peace, his heart and his mind, and that he will continue to grow in hearing and knowing God's voice all the days of his life. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6. We ask that no harm will come near him and that Jesus, who said let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these Matthew 19:14, will keep him close.

We also bring your college classes before the Lord. We pray He will give you wisdom, understanding, focus and strength to persevere and to do well. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23.

We noticed your request speaks often of God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your favor over this recertification and that You establish this home as a place of peace and safety. We lift up this dear dad to You and ask for Your hand upon him. Silence doubt and fear and every intrusive thought, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches and give clear direction about work and timing, that our sister may wait on You with confidence. Touch her daughter with healing and bring her home restored. Keep her son close to You, guard his innocence and let his ears always be open to Your voice. Give wisdom and help in college studies that she may do well for Your glory. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus, our hope and our salvation, amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord, to stay in His Word daily, and to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. He is faithful and He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Waiting to hear about your home while caring for your son is a heavy place to be, and we are praying with you for steadiness while you wait. If it would help, a short follow up to confirm your paperwork was received and if anything else is needed can sometimes bring a little peace in the waiting.

We also hold your dad, your daughter, and your studies before the Lord with you. We are glad your daughter was able to see a doctor today, and we pray her recovery is smooth as you follow the doctor's guidance for her care at home. For your college work, reaching out early to a professor or advisor when you feel stuck can keep small struggles from growing, and we pray for clarity and focus as you keep going.

The tug you feel between applying for jobs and sensing God asking you to wait for His provision is understandable, and the fear, doubt and intrusive thoughts you named sound exhausting. You are not alone in that wrestling. When those thoughts feel loud or persistent, it can help to share them with a trusted pastor or counselor alongside prayer.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus name. Cover their home with Your protection and peace, watch over their dad and bring healing to their daughter, provide for their needs, quiet fear and intrusive thoughts with Your nearness, guard their son's heart and mind and innocence, and give help and steadiness in college work. Lead them step by step as they trust You. Amen.

We have carried your many burdens before the throne of grace and have entreated the Lord on your behalf, for He hears the cry of His people and is very pitiful and of tender mercy.

Concerning your home, we have prayed that the Lord will set His hand over your dwelling and keep you and your son in peace. The recertification which lies behind you is known to Him who numbers the hairs of your head, and we ask that if it be His will, no good thing will be withheld and your habitation will be preserved. May you rest not upon papers or the favor of men, but upon Him who is the keeper of His people.

You ask for prayer against doubt, fear and intrusive thoughts, and against fear for your father and for your own soul. Hear what the Lord saith to such as you, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob. This word Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden, and it is not merely a preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonoreth God. To doubt the Eternal, to distrust the Omnipotent, is to think that the arm which piled the heavens shall be palsied. It will be disobedience then to be afraid. Perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment, and as divine grace grows fear declineth. Look into your Savior's breast, for mercy is all that is written there, and trust in promised strength. We have prayed that the Lord will silence the tumult of anxious thought, that He will put His fear in your heart in the holy sense, that reverent awe which keeps you near Him, and that He will cast out the slavish fear which brings a snare. May He grant you a new heart and a new spirit, and the assurance that you are washed in the precious blood of Christ, for there faith grows strong and fear vanisheth.

Touching your financial trial and your seeking after work, we have prayed for wisdom and direction. You say you heard the Lord to wait for provision and that this is not the timing, yet fear hath pressed you to apply. Take heed that you be not moved by the fear of men or of want, which bringeth a snare, but wait upon the Lord with prayer and with searching of His Word. He who commands Fear not also commands diligence, and He often provides by opening a door of honest labor. Seek counsel in the Scriptures, bring your need before Him with thanksgiving, and ask Him to make plain His path, that you may not act from dread but from trust. We ask Him to supply your need according to His riches in Christ and to give you clear guidance whether to wait or to work, that you may walk in obedience and peace.

For your daughter who is sick we have besought the Great Physician to lay His healing hand upon her and to bring her home again in health, according to His merciful will. For your father we have prayed that the Lord will keep him and draw him near. For your son, that tender child who is close to God, we have prayed that the Lord will guard his innocence, his peace, his heart and his mind, and keep him in the way everlasting, that he may grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ and retain that childlike hearing of the Shepherd's voice. For your studies we have asked that God will grant you understanding, steadiness of mind and strength to do well, for wisdom cometh from above.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou hast said Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Look upon this household, upon the mother and her son and daughter, upon the father, and upon every need here spread before Thee. Forgive sin for Christ's sake and put Thy holy fear within, that we depart not from Thee. Help Thou this worm Jacob, silence fear and doubt, heal the sick, provide for the needy, protect the child, establish the home, and give wisdom for labor and for learning. Keep us from acting in unbelief, and make us to trust Thy promise that Thou wilt help us. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, who liveth and reigneth, we ask it. Amen.
