Father, we ask that You guide her steps and grant her favor in the eyes of those who will be making this decision. May she find grace and wisdom to answer every question with clarity and confidence, reflecting Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that if this opportunity aligns with Your perfect will for her life, You would open the door wide and make her path straight. May this position not only provide for her financial needs but also allow her to grow in her gifts and serve You faithfully in this new season.

Lord, we also ask that You guard her heart from anxiety or fear. Remind her that her worth is not found in any job or title, but in being Your beloved child. Help her to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto her. If this role is not part of Your plan, we pray You would close the door gently and lead her to the right opportunity in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of doubt or discouragement that may try to steal her joy or confidence. Instead, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power, love, and a sound mind. May she walk into that interview room with the assurance that You go before her and that Your plans for her are good.

Waiting to hear can be the hardest part, especially when so much seems to hang on a “yes.” While we pray for the outcome you desire, we also remember that her preparation, her courage to apply, and the interview itself are already steps where God is guiding her. This opportunity didn't catch Him by surprise, and He is with her in the waiting room just as much as He is in the offer letter. We can trust His care for her, whatever the answer turns out to be, and that sense of steady ground is something we can pray into right now.

Father, thank You for the gifts and the diligence You’ve given this daughter, and for bringing her to a place where her abilities are being recognized. Grant her a clear mind and a calm spirit as the conversations continue, and give the interviewers true discernment. We ask that if it aligns with Your will, this job would be hers, and if not, that the disappointment would be met with Your comfort and a clear next path. It is no small thing to lift up such a request before the Lord, for He invites us to cast all our care upon Him. We will join our prayers with yours, asking that if it be according to His holy will, your ### may find favor and obtain this position with its increase of provision and honor. Yet remember that the Lord’s ways are often contrary to our expectations, and He may see fit to withhold what we desire in order to bestow something better. Job, when stripped of all, worshipped and said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” In all this he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

A Christian woman ought to be adorned with the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price, so that whether she gain this place or not, her confidence may remain unshaken in the God of her salvation. Even if the answer should tarry or come in a form we do not at first perceive as mercy, let her be as Job, who declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” We shall pray that she be anointed with fresh oil of grace for the interview, that her bow be renewed in her hand, and that the Lord turn any present captivity of anxiety into peace through Christ. For our longest sorrows have an end when God has gotten His end in them, and He is ever working for the good of them that love Him.

I hear your request, and I join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord. Yet let us not be anxious about the outcome; let us recall how our Master calmed the trembling woman: “Daughter, be of good cheer.” Earthly advancement, even a doubled wage, is but a fleeting dream. The present life is a sleep, and its riches vanish like visions of the night. Do you not remember how those who grow rich in a dream wake to find nothing? So too, before we depart to the other life, these dreams often fly away.

Now, we are not forbidden to provide for the body. I myself wrote to Timothy, “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake.” Such provision is for health, not wantonness. But if we chase after wealth to light the furnace of desire, to feed a soft and relaxed life, that is no longer provision but the fulfilling of lust. So I pray, not simply that she gets this job, but that whatever her labor may be, it serves her soul’s true health. Let her seek first the kingdom, and all needed things will be added.

I pray that her faith be strengthened. For it was faith that made the bleeding woman whole, and it is faith that makes every one of us a true daughter of God. If this position comes to her, may she receive it as a trust, using its increase to prune away excess, not to kindle vainglory. And if it does not, let her be of good cheer still, knowing that our craftsman is the Father and the Son, who cleanse and tend the branches for their advancement, not His need. On account of all these things, let us entrust her to God’s will, that she may arise from this sleep unweighed by manifold desires.
