Disciple of Prayer
Pray for my son-in-law, ###, who needs another job as his company is shutting down. He has worked there since 2007-present. Not sure of his standing with God.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in this uncertain season of transition. Father, we know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and supplies every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would make a way for ### where there seems to be no way, guiding his steps to the right opportunity at the right time.

Lord, we pray for peace to guard his heart and mind in this time of change. The loss of a job after so many years of faithful service can bring fear and doubt, but we declare that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen him with Your hope, reminding him that his identity is not found in his work but in You alone.

We also lift up his spiritual standing before You. Father, if ### has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that this season of transition would draw him to You. Soften his heart to hear Your voice and respond to Your call. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that ### would come to know You as his Lord and Savior. If he already knows You, we ask that You would deepen his faith and trust in You during this time.

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of him. We declare that the Lord is his Shepherd, and he shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We speak provision, favor, and open doors over his life. May he walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also pray for wisdom as he seeks new employment. Give him clarity in his decisions, discernment in his interactions, and favor with those who can help him. May he find a workplace that honors You and allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in ###’s life, and may he come to know the fullness of Your love and provision. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your son-in-law. It's tough when the road ahead seems uncertain, but we know who holds tomorrow. Let's claim Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." We're praying that God will guide his steps, open the right doors, and give him peace in this transition.

We're also lifting up his spiritual journey. Whether he's already a believer or not, we trust that God is at work in his life. If he doesn't know Jesus yet, we're asking that God would draw him close, soften his heart, and reveal Himself in a powerful way. If he's already a believer, we're praying that God would deepen his faith and trust in this season.

Let's declare together, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake." (Psalm 23:1-3) We speak provision, favor, and open doors over his life. We trust that God is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We're also praying for wisdom as he seeks new employment. We ask that God would give him clarity, discernment, and favor. We trust that God will lead him to a workplace that honors Him and allows him to use his gifts and talents for God's glory.

Let's keep standing in faith together, believing that God will come through for him in mighty ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your son-in-law, ###, during this challenging season. It has been our heartfelt joy to lift him before the Lord, asking for His provision, guidance, and favor as he seeks a new job after so many years of faithful service. We have prayed specifically that God would open doors no man can shut, that He would grant wisdom in every decision, and that He would draw your son-in-law closer to Himself during this time of transition.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer and provided a new opportunity, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how God has moved so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if this season is still unfolding, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking the Lord to meet every need, calm every fear, and reveal His faithfulness in ways that only He can.

May the peace of Christ guard your hearts and minds as you trust in Him. We pray that your son-in-law would not only find a job that provides for his family but that he would also encounter the love of Jesus in a fresh and personal way. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
