New house

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that myself and children are accepted for a new home very very soon and that we are not moved to our old area where we had a lot of trouble and the area is just no good. We are seriously overcrowded and its causing a lot of problems and uncomfortable living. Please pray this happens in the month of August and no later. Thank you God bless you!

We hear your urgent cry for a new home, and we lift you and your children up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s provision and perfect timing. The discomfort and overcrowding you’re experiencing is heavy on our hearts, and we stand with you, believing that God sees your need and will open the right door at the right time.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we ask that You move on behalf of this family, that You would soften the hearts of those in authority to approve their application for a new home quickly. Let August be the month of Your divine intervention, Lord, and may this family be settled into a place of peace, safety, and comfort, far from the troubles of their past. We declare that You are their Provider, their Refuge, and their Strong Tower, and we trust that You will not leave them in a place of lack or distress.

We also pray for wisdom and patience as they wait, Lord. Help them to trust in Your timing, even when it feels urgent. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, and that Your plans for them are plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Guard their hearts from anxiety and fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

We rebuke any delays or obstacles that the enemy may try to place in their path, and we declare that this family will not be moved back to a place of trouble. Instead, Lord, lead them to a home that reflects Your goodness and grace, a place where they can thrive and grow in You.

Lastly, we ask that You draw this family closer to You during this time. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that when they delight themselves in You, You will give them the desires of their hearts (Psalm 37:4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is your Provider, and He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you to green pastures (Psalm 23:1-2). You are not forgotten, He hears your prayers, and He will answer.

We hear the weight in your words, the urgency, the discomfort of overcrowding, and the very real fear of returning to a place that holds painful memories. That kind of pressure affects everything: sleep, peace, patience with the children. We are praying with you that God opens a door to a home that brings safety and a fresh start.

While we wait alongside you, one practical step might be to let a small group from your church or a few trusted friends know exactly what you need. Sometimes God works through his people’s hands, someone might know of a rental opening, a program, or a connection you haven’t considered. You don’t need to carry this search alone, and sharing the need lightly, without anxiety, can be an act of faith.

We also want to gently acknowledge that waiting until August feels long when every day is strained. We ask the Lord for his provision by that time, yet we hold our hearts open to his larger wisdom if the timing unfolds differently. In the cramped, uncomfortable moments, we pray he gives you little glimpses of his care, a friend who listens, a peaceful evening, a child’s laughter that breaks through the stress.

Let us pray.

Father, you see this mom and her children in their crowded space. You know the strain on her body and heart, and the memories of that old neighborhood that still ache. We ask you to move, provide a new home soon, in a place of safety and calm. Guide every application and decision. Guard her children from distress. Sustain her with hope and clear direction each day. We ask all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Call upon the Lord in this your day of trouble, for He has Himself commanded, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me.” Your present distress is not hidden from Him, the overcrowding, the discomfort, the weariness of body and mind, and the anxious dread of being thrust back into that place of former trial. Pour out your complaint before Him, and do not cease until the answer comes.

Yet, let your heart be still. Why are you troubled? The Master speaks, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.” This trouble is not sent to destroy you, but to drive you to the consolations which are in Christ Jesus. He who knows what it is to have no place to lay His head will not be unmoved by your need. Trust Him with the where and the when. You ask for August, and I willingly join my prayer that the Lord would open the door speedily. But be careful not to bind the Almighty to a single month. His clock keeps perfect time, and if He bids you wait a little longer, it will be to give you a double blessing. Faith does not dictate the calendar; it leaves all in the hands of infinite love.

Remember, too, that your truest acceptance is already sealed. If you have fled to Christ, you are “accepted in the Beloved,” and that eternal settlement can never be overturned. In the year of Jubilee, the captive went free without money; so you have received pardon and a place among the saints without price. Let this higher acceptance quiet your heart concerning the earthly one. The Lord will guide you to a safe dwelling, and even now, in those cramped rooms, He can make your spirit dwell at ease. He is able to fence you from the evil you fear, and to lead you into a habitation of peace.

Cast every care upon Him, for He careth for you and for your little ones. The way may be rough, but the end is home, first a tent on earth, and then the many mansions above. Go forward in calm faith, and the Lord God of the households of His people bless you and your children, and give you a quiet resting place very soon.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I see the weight of your burden in these words, the crowding and discomfort that press upon you daily, and the fear of being pulled back into a place of past trouble. Such distress is not hidden from God, and you do well to bring it before Him with urgency. But hear the wisdom of Gamaliel, who counseled men to take heed and refrain from rashly forcing outcomes. “If this work be of men, it will come to naught; but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it.” So it is with your housing.

Seek the Lord with all your heart, yet do not bind Him to an August deadline as though His care depended on a calendar. The merchant is not content with wishing alone; he hires a vessel, selects sailors, and inquires about the market. You also must act prudently, exploring every proper avenue, but leave the timing and the place in the hands of the One who knows your needs before you ask. The woman at the well did not demand immediate answers; she said, “Come, see,” and drew others to taste the living water.

Approach the throne of grace with that same spirit, bold, yet trusting that the same Christ who saw her past now sees your trouble and your children’s faces. He who stilled the sea can calm the storms of housing agents and waiting lists. Pray fervently, but let your petition end as His own did: “Not my will, but Thine be done.” Do not let anxiety fester like leaven, for our Passover has been sacrificed. Cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you, and whether the answer comes in August or beyond, it will not come one hour late.

The ache of overcrowding and the fear of returning to a place that holds so much pain are burdens God does not take lightly. He sees every cramped corner, every strained moment, and He knows the longing for a fresh start. When Israel was hemmed in by a Pharaoh who saw them only as a threat, the Lord was already weaving deliverance through a baby hidden in a tiny ark. That child, Moses, grew up in a borrowed home, yet God’s purpose was to lead His people to a land of their own. Your need for space and safety is not hidden from Him.

There are times when life feels like the wilderness, uncomfortable, uncertain, stretching far beyond the deadlines we set. But the wilderness was never meant to be permanent; it became the place where God revealed Himself as the Rock from whom living water flows. He provided manna for natural hunger and a pillar of cloud to guide the way. He knows the practical strain of a household with no room to breathe, and He is not indifferent. Yet He often uses these pressures to turn our hearts from demanding instant relief to clinging to Him as our true home. This world, with all its houses and addresses, is not the final stop. We are passing through, and He is preparing a place for us that will never be torn down or taken away.

I am praying that this month you will see a door open, a home where your children can rest and your own soul can find some quiet. The house itself is not the goal, but the Lord cares about the shelter of His people. When the Passover blood marked the doors in Egypt, those inside were safe, not because the building was perfect, but because they were covered by His promise. I ask Him to extend that covering over you, to guide the decisions of those who hold the keys, and to keep you from being uprooted back into a past that holds trouble. He knows the street names and the shadows you left behind; He can shut that door with the same authority He used to part the sea.

Even as you wait, cling to this: you are already part of a family that cannot be shaken. The household of God is not defined by square footage or a quiet neighborhood, but by the blood of Jesus that makes us His own. Moses did not scramble to secure a legacy for his sons; he entrusted them to the God who called him. You, too, can rest your children’s future in those same hands, whether the answer comes in August or tarries a little longer. He has never forsaken the righteous or their seed. So I pray with you, for a swift resolution, for favor in the sight of those who decide, and for a home that becomes a small sanctuary in this weary land. Keep your eyes on the Shepherd who leads; He has never lost a sheep in the wilderness.
