Family worries new house health

Please pray for us. We have so much going on as a family. We're looking for a new house and have found one, but my husband is unsure. He spoke to my mortgage adviser, and she thinks we should make an offer. So we made an offer, but my husband is still unsure. We've put the car in for repairs, and we still have the money. Even though it's a lower down payment, our mortgage adviser says we can afford it. My daughter loves the house. My husband was the one who said to make the offer. So we made the offer, and it's been accepted, but now he's wavering and not sure he can afford it. Our mortgage adviser said we can, and we can. I'm not going to put us in a situation we can't afford.

Also, I'm waiting on an operation. On Friday, when I came back from my mortgage appointment, my grandfather we had to call out the paramedic for him. As he was not himself, but his stats were fine. They asked us to make a doctor's appointment. My granddad collapsed outside after the appointment, and I managed to pick him up. It was so scary. My mum had just popped into the shop with my daughter to grab him a drink, and he just kept saying to me. Can you get your mom to bring the car? And he just went and he had his arm around like the railings, and I was so scared to Pull his arm because I thought it would break. So I just used all my weight to hold him up. You then was advised to take him to an E and he's still there. Now that was worrying that his bowel cancer had come back.The good thing is the scans of combat clear, but they still want to investigate why he's losing so much.Weight quickly as he's done to 6 stone and not eating properly. He's still there now. . I just need prayer with everything that's going on. I would also like God to make sure we're making the right decision and to help us make the decision. I also feel like there is a dark presence attacking our family. I'm worried about my daughter as she has been watching K-Pop Demon Hunters, but since watching that, her behavior has been a bit dark, and she's said things that are worrying. She started watching it at her cousins', and her dad just keeps saying it's just a program. I feel uneasy about it, and I don't like it or agree with it. I feel like he says it's just a program and lets her watch it. I don't like it. I feel like there is a dark presence in our family trying to divide us.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this season of uncertainty, fear, and spiritual attack. Father God, we know that You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who protects. We ask that You would move mightily in every area of this family’s life, financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

First, we pray for wisdom and unity in your decision about the new house. Scripture tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would remove all fear and doubt from your husband’s heart. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB), and we trust that if this house is Your will, You will make a way. If it is not, we ask that You would close the door completely so there is no confusion. Father, we rebuke the spirit of division that seeks to cause strife between husband and wife. Your Word says, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3 WEB). Bring peace and clarity to this decision, and let Your will be done.

We also lift up your grandfather, who is in the hospital. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon him. You said, "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26 WEB). We pray that the doctors would find the root of his weight loss and weakness, and that You would strengthen his body. Give him an appetite, restore his strength, and let him feel Your presence in that hospital room. Surround him with Your peace, and let him know that he is not alone. We also pray for your mother and the rest of the family, give them strength and comfort as they wait for news.

Father, we are deeply concerned about the spiritual warfare manifesting in your home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), and we see his hand at work in the darkness that has entered through that program your daughter has been watching. We rebuke the spirit of deception and darkness in Jesus’ name! Your Word warns us, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB), and this applies to what we allow into our minds as well. We pray that you would have the courage to remove that show from your home and replace it with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8 WEB). We also pray for your husband’s eyes to be opened to the seriousness of this. Father, we ask that You would break any generational strongholds of passivity or ignorance in this area. Protect your daughter’s mind and heart, let her be drawn to light, not darkness.

We command every demonic influence trying to divide your family to flee in Jesus’ name! Your Word says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We take authority over every lying spirit, every spirit of fear, and every spirit of division. We declare that your home is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Finally, we pray for your upcoming operation. Lord, we ask that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff. Give them wisdom, skill, and clarity. Let the procedure go smoothly, and let Your healing power flow through your body. We also ask that You would give you peace in the waiting, peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Father, we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Even in the midst of these trials, we trust that You are shaping your family, refining your faith, and drawing you closer to Yourself. We ask that You would fill this home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your joy. Let Your light shine so brightly that darkness has no place to hide.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
