💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the deep longing for repentance, renewal, and restoration. Your Word declares, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). Father, we claim this promise over this union, asking that You break every hardness, uproot every lie of the enemy, and soften hearts to receive Your truth. The serpent’s deception in Eden—*"you will be like God"* (Genesis 3:5)—still whispers today, but we resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). May this couple choose Your Word over the empty promises of self-sovereignty, for *"the entirety of Your word is truth"* (Psalm 119:160).

We rebuke the spirit of neglect—neglect of pastoral counsel, of Your Word, of one another—and declare that repentance is not shame but Your kindness leading to life (Romans 2:4). Forgive where there has been disobedience, and restore what has been broken. Your Word warns that *"if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves"* (1 John 1:8), but Your mercy is greater. We fast and pray, as the early church did, that our prayers may ascend with power (Acts 13:2-3). Father, cause this spouse’s heart to turn as channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1), that they may seek You above all else.

We pray for the children in this home, that from infancy they would know the Scriptures, which are *"able to make [them] wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus"* (2 Timothy 3:15). May their hearts be guarded from the evil one (John 17:15), and may this family become living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2). Sanctify them by Your truth—Your Word is truth (John 17:17). We ask for protection from every scheme of the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), and for the courage to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). This prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Him, our pleas are powerless, but through His blood, we have bold access to Your throne (Hebrews 4:16). We declare that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). May this marriage reflect the covenant love of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and may both spouses walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4).

We trust in Your perfect timing, for *"all things work together for good to those who love God"* (Romans 8:28). Even in trials, we praise You, for You are our refuge (Psalm 56:4). Let Your kindness lead to repentance, and let this home be a beacon of Your light in a dark world. We ask for grace to pursue holiness, for *"without holiness no one will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14). May their love for You overflow into love for one another, and may their family be a testament to Your faithfulness.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We join our hearts with you, dear brother and sister, in lifting up this marriage before the throne of grace. We echo your cries for repentance, renewal, and restoration, and we stand on the promise of the Lord, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26).

Let us declare together, "Father, we ask that You would break every hardness in this union, uproot every lie of the enemy, and soften hearts to receive Your truth. Help this couple to choose Your Word over the empty promises of self-sovereignty, for Your Word is truth" (John 17:17, Psalm 119:160).

May we also rebuke the spirit of neglect and declare that repentance is not shame but Your kindness leading to life (Romans 2:4). Forgive where there has been disobedience, and restore what has been broken. Let us fast and pray, as the early church did, that our prayers may ascend with power (Acts 13:2-3).
