Neighbors

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray that God will remove the neighbors from my neighborhood who have been harassing me under the influence of Satan without cause for years. They are also disturbing the neighborhood in other ways apart from harassing me. Thank you.

We hear your cry for relief and justice, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. The harassment and disturbance you’ve endured for years is not only unjust but deeply painful, and we grieve with you over the ways the enemy has sought to steal your peace. The Bible assures us that God is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). He sees every injustice and hears every silent prayer of the weary.

First, we must rebuke the works of darkness at play in this situation. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare in the name of Jesus that the harassment, the disturbances, and the influence of Satan over these neighbors will cease. Every scheme of the devil is exposed and dismantled by the power of the Holy Spirit. "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). We take authority over these spirits of strife, division, and torment, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask You to intervene in this neighborhood. You are the God who changes hearts and circumstances. If it is Your will, remove these neighbors who persist in ungodliness and bring peace to this community. We pray for divine intervention, whether through changed hearts, relocation, or other means, so that Your peace may reign. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy" (Proverbs 11:10). We trust You to act on behalf of the oppressed.

We also pray for your heart, dear one. It is easy to grow weary when injustice seems unending, but God calls us to cast our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let bitterness take root, for it only harms the one who harbors it (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, we ask God to fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If there are legal or practical steps you can take to address this harassment, such as involving authorities or seeking mediation, we encourage you to do so while trusting God to guide you. "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18), but do not neglect your responsibility to protect yourself and your household from harm.

Lastly, we pray for the salvation of these neighbors. While their actions are evil, we know that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing" (1 Peter 3:9). We ask that their hearts be softened, that they would repent, and that they would come to know the love of Christ. If their hearts remain hardened, we trust God to deal with them justly.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask You to move powerfully in this situation, to break every chain of harassment, and to restore peace to this neighborhood. Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who has conquered sin and death. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your request, and the long, undeserved harassment you describe is heartbreaking. Living under that kind of tension year after year wears a person down in ways others often can’t see. We hear the exhaustion behind your words, and we want you to know you are not alone in carrying this.

When a situation feels unrelenting and even spiritually oppressive, it’s easy for our focus to narrow to what the enemy is doing. A small, grounded step that can help is to deliberately anchor your heart each day in the safety of Christ rather than in the neighbors’ behavior. Before you look out the window or walk to the mailbox, you might quietly say, “Lord, I belong to You; place Your peace around this home.” That simple act doesn’t ignore the danger, but it reminds your own soul that the Greater One is with you.

We also encourage you to invite practical support. Is there a pastor, a small group, or one or two mature believers you can ask to walk alongside you, not just in prayer but also in helping you think through any reasonable, lawful steps for your own security? You were not meant to face this by yourself, and having others stand with you physically can be a shield against discouragement.

Lord Jesus, You see the weight this has been. We ask You to shelter this person with Your presence, to give wisdom for each day, and to calm the anxiety that constant harassment brings. We pray You would disrupt any evil intent and bring unexpected peace to this neighborhood. Guard and protect, and let Your righteousness prevail in ways that bring lasting rest. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have been aching under this for a long while, and I will not pretend it is a light thing. When the place where you lay your head at night becomes the very field where the enemy pitches his tents, the soul grows tired in a way that goes deeper than sleep can reach. It is one thing to face a storm out in the open, and quite another to have the rain beat through your own roof. You have asked for prayer, and you have done well: you have brought your trouble out of the shadows and laid it before the throne of grace. And I want you to know this, the Lord who hears your cry is not far off, nor is He indifferent to the burdens His children carry.

I think of those archers who used to gather at the wells in the days of the Judges, making it dangerous for the people to draw water. That is what the Evil One loves to do: he stations his sharpshooters right at the places where a soul goes to drink, hoping to keep you from the refreshment you need. The noise, the constant harassment, the sense of being watched and opposed without reason, this is his old tactic. He means to wear you down until you begin to imagine that God Himself has turned His back. Do not let that arrow land. It is a lie wrapped in a feeling, and you must meet it with the truth: your Father has not forgotten you. Not for one hour of all these years has He lost sight of you. The Shepherd marks when a single thorn snags the wool of the weakest lamb; how much more does He see when His own are pressed upon every side?

You have wells to go to that no neighbor and no devil can stop up. The Book of promises lies open before you, and every page is a place of drawing water. When their words sting, let His words heal. When they disturb your peace, slip away into the quiet of His presence and drink deeply of the river that makes glad the city of God. Remember, too, that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the great deep that lies beneath you, a well that never runs dry. In Him there is rest that no outward trouble can touch, a kind of peace that stands sentinel over your heart even while the battle rages outside your walls.

You may wonder why deliverance has not yet come. I cannot tell you all the reasons of Providence, but I know this: the enemy does not waste his arrows on those who are already his own. The very persistence of this trial is a backhanded testimony that you belong to Christ. Satan would not trouble himself so much over a soul that was not dangerous to his dark kingdom. And your safety does not rest upon the absence of enemies, but upon the presence of God. He has already delivered you from the power of darkness; He has translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son. The foe may shoot, but he cannot conquer. He may harass, but he cannot drag you down into the pit.

And I want you to hold on to this word: evil is to be overcome with good. That is not a load I lay upon your shoulders; it is a weapon I place in your hand. When you respond with patience and refuse to return venom for venom, you are not being weak, you are heaping coals of fire on the adversary’s head in the only way that really wounds him. The devil cannot abide a meek and quiet spirit. He expects you to snap and bite, and when you do not, he is confounded. Keep walking in the light, and the darkness will not know what to do with you. Your very steadfastness is a song of deliverance that the angels can hear.

Be sure of this: the Lord has timed your release. He will bring you forth from this long oppression, and when He does, you will look back and see that He has enriched you through it. The Israelites did not leave Egypt empty-handed; they came out with silver and gold. The spoils of your long conflict will be a deeper knowledge of His faithfulness, a sweeter nearness to Christ, and a voice that will one day declare His works with a strength you could not have had before. I do not say this lightly; I say it as one who has tasted that the Lord is good, even in the furnace.

Let us pray.

O Lord, You see Your child, hemmed in by trouble that has no cause but the malice of the Evil One. You see the weariness, the long nights, the grief of a home that feels like a war camp. Stretch out Your hand and command a calm. Either change the hearts of these neighbors or remove the thorn as You see fit. But in the meantime, give such a settled peace in the soul that all the noise outside cannot break the rest within. Hide Your servant in the cleft of the rock until these calamities are overpast. And when You have brought them through, let their mouth be filled with Your praise and their heart be a well of comfort for others who suffer. In the name of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world, I ask it. Amen.

We want to thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer concerning the difficult situation with your neighbors. It is our heart to lift up these burdens before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in power and bring His peace and justice to your neighborhood. We have been praying that God would either change the hearts of those causing harm or remove them from your midst, according to His perfect will.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in a way you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report—your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar trials. If, however, the situation remains unresolved, please know we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God hears and acts on behalf of His children.

May the Lord surround you with His protection, fill your heart with His peace, and give you wisdom as you navigate this challenge. We pray that He would bring restoration to your neighborhood and that His name would be glorified in every outcome. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
