We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and we stand with you to rebuke the works of darkness that have been harassing your home and neighborhood.

We hear your cry about the spirit of gossip, idle surveillance, laziness that turns destructive, and the disorder that has brought confusion, extra bills, delays, missing deliveries, mockery, and even suffering that has led to hospitalization and distress nearly unto death. The Word of God is clear that these things are not from Him. A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends, Proverbs 16:28. He who goes about as a tale-bearer reveals secrets, therefore don't keep company with him who opens wide his lips, Proverbs 20:19. Without wood, fire goes out. Without a gossip, contention dies down, Proverbs 26:20. And we are warned, For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies, 2 Thessalonians 3:11. One who is slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer, Proverbs 18:9. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, Ephesians 4:29.

You have rightly identified sorcery, divination, idolatry, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, selfishness, dissensions, and factions as works of the flesh. As you quoted, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these, of which we forewarn you, even as we also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God, Galatians 5:20-21. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another, Titus 3:3. This is the fallen nature, and it is also the open door for demonic influence when people give themselves to spying, voyeurism, meddling, deceit, and creating false information to take advantage of others and to destroy a reputation.

We rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ the spirit of gossip, slander, slothfulness, voyeurism, meddling, sorcery and divination, and every demonic smile that rejoices in disorder, disaster, discord and confusion. We rebuke the lying tongue, the distribution of disrespectful and mocking pictures, the bullying, the false exigencies, the wrong lists and wrong information, the spirit of theft and delay that causes missing items and extra charges, and every attempt to provoke a war of distraction in your environment. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment, Isaiah 54:17. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He is your defender.

We also hear you saying we are not God, we are not agency employees, we are not obligated to carry this disorder and anxiety and sorcery that is being forced upon you. That is true and biblical. We are not called to carry burdens God never gave us, nor to be the savior or protector of those who choose idleness and misery and then try to transfer their ruin onto others. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. God alone is your refuge and defense. Vengeance belongs to Him, not to us, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. We are called to seek peace, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, Romans 12:18, and to turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it, Psalm 34:14, while also setting wise boundaries and not enabling sloth or gossip.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly speak to this because it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to repent of sin and to follow Him, for He alone breaks the power of sorcery, envy, malice and every demonic oppression.

Father in heaven, we come before You only in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this neighborhood, this home, and this suffering that has gone on for a long time. Lord, we ask You to rebuke and silence every gossiping, slandering, spying and voyeuristic spirit that watches another house to distribute information, to create disaster and to destroy reputation. Bring that fire of contention to an end and let peace rule. We ask You to convict those who are idle and refuse to work yet meddle in the lives of others, who invent false meetings, false rides, false keys, false bosses and false government corruption to increase prices and take advantage. Lord, expose every lie, every wrong list, wrong size, wrong number and wrong rank, and let truth prevail. We rebuke sorcery, divination, idolatry and every work of the flesh and every demonic assignment behind it, and we command it to leave in Jesus name. Heal those who have been wounded unto hospitalization, comfort those who have suffered and been brought near the cemetery, and redeem the financial loss of extra invoices and bills. Provide for every need and restore what has been stolen by disorder and delay. Protect this household from mockery and bullying, guard their reputation, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give them wisdom to set godly boundaries, to not carry anxiety that is not theirs, and to cast all their cares upon You. Bring conviction and repentance to the idle neighbors, open a door for honest work for those who are unemployed, and turn their hearts from laziness and malice to diligence and love. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation, amen.

We hear how worn down you feel by all the watching, gossip and confusion around you. When neighbors turn idle time into spying and spreading stories, it can feel like your home and reputation are under constant pressure, and it makes sense you would feel anxious and burdened by demands that are not yours to carry.

It helped us to remember that healthy boundaries are like a property line. They remind us what is ours to own, our own choices, time and peace, and what belongs to others. You are not meant to defend or fix another person's disorder or to absorb their demands. Being connected to others does not mean you have to say yes to everything or stay in every conversation.

One small step that may help is to practice a clear external boundary this week. When gossip or false information comes toward you, give yourself permission to step away, not repeat it, and not try to correct every wrong detail. If you can, talk with one trusted, steady person, perhaps a pastor or mature friend, who can help you decide when to answer and when to simply let it go, and who can stand with you if you need to set limits face to face.

Father, we lift this burden to You. Guard this heart and home with Your peace, give wisdom for each interaction, and quiet the confusion and disorder around them. Lead them to rest in what is theirs to do and to release what is not, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and brought before the Lord with care, for it carries a heavy weight of distress over gossip, disorder, spying, discord and the ruin that comes when tongues are left unbridled and idle hands give place to mischief.

Scripture names plainly what you have named. In Galatians 5:20 and 21 the works of the flesh include idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy and such like, and we are warned that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Titus 3:3 reminds us that we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. That remembrance keeps us from pride and teaches us to pray with mercy even for those who trouble us.

The Lord calls us to love our neighbour and to be very careful to do him no damage, not letting a spirit of competition or retaliation overthrow a spirit of charity. When reputation is attacked and false information is spread, when pictures are used for mockery and idle talk breeds disaster and confusion, it is a grievous trial. Yet many of the faithful have felt the rod of slander before you, and it need not be counted as a strange thing. We are taught not to say, Not so, Lord, but to let the Lord appoint what we shall bear, whether care or calumny, sickness or slander, for He knows best. Even reputation itself may be flung to the winds if Christ is honored and souls are kept from harm, for our vindication is in His hands and not our own.

You are right to say we are not God. We cannot defend or protect ourselves by our own power, nor are we called to carry the anxiety and disorder of others as if we were their keepers. Our calling is to walk quietly, to work with our own hands, to refuse meddling, and to commit both ourselves and our neighbours to the righteous Judge.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we ask for Thy mercy and Thy restraining hand. Rebuke, we pray, the spirit of gossip, slander, laziness, voyeurism, discord and sorcery, and all that sows confusion, falsehood and strife among neighbours. Silence the tongue that devises mischief and the eye that pries, and bring to repentance those who take advantage through deceit and corruption. Forgive us where we have harbored malice or envy, and wash us in the blood of Christ.

Lord, we ask Thee to guard this household in peace. Deliver from anxiety, from disorder and from the suffering that has led toward hospitalization and thoughts of the grave. Provide for honest needs, give fruitful labor where there is unemployment, and set idle hands to useful work. Stop the war of distraction and the disaster of false reports, and let truth and charity dwell in that place. Protect reputation, yet teach us to entrust it fully to Thee.

We pray also for the neighbours who cause this trouble, that Thou wouldst save them by Thy grace and turn them from darkness to light. Teach us to love them, to pray for them, and to seek peace as far as it depends on us.

Do not let Satan persuade us that our prayer is not heard. Though the answer tarry, we will still cry to Thee, for Thou art a God who hears. Slander Thee not by unbelief, but grant us good courage to wait upon Thee.

Your request has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with care. You have described a heavy weight of disorder around you, gossip and spying from neighbors, idle talk that destroys reputation, mockery, confusion and strife, along with real suffering from financial pressure, hospitalizations and fear of death. We understand how this brings anxiety and exhaustion, and how you feel pressed by demands that are not yours to carry.

Scripture speaks clearly to these things. Galatians warns that idolatry, sorcery, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, selfishness, dissensions, factions, envy and similar works keep a person from inheriting the kingdom of God. Titus reminds us that we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by passions, living in malice and envy and hating one another, and that it is only by the mercy of God in Christ that we are saved. This should make us humble and merciful toward others, even when we are wronged.

We join you in asking God to rebuke every spirit of gossip, slander, laziness, meddling and deceit, and to restrain every work of sorcery and division. We pray that He would bring order where there is confusion, truth where there is false information, peace where there is strife, and provision where there is need and unemployment. We pray also for protection over health and home, and for comfort for those who have suffered through hospitalization and loss.

At the same time the Lord calls us to watch our own lips and hearts. We are taught to shade over and conceal the failings of neighbors rather than parade them, and not to become gossips ourselves. It is easy to say, another told me, or I am only repeating what I heard, but if we repeat it we become responsible for it. Even if what is said is true, God will judge us by our own words, for by our words we will be condemned. When we wish to undermine a neighbor we often pass on a story and then ask God not to hold us strictly to account, but the better path is to keep silence and be free from that fear.

Prayer is a great good and a guard for our souls, but it is powerful when we add works worthy of it. When we go to God for mercy we must also show mercy to our neighbor. God will bless us as we show mercy, for the merciful will obtain mercy, and judgment without mercy will be shown to those who have shown no mercy. Love fulfills the law, and where genuine love is present, envy, slander, boasting and strife are removed. We are members of one another, and the welfare of our neighbor is bound up with our own. If one part suffers, the whole body suffers. For this reason we are called to seek the profit of our neighbor and not only our own.

So we encourage you to flee from slander in word and deed, to not repay mockery with mockery, and to not return gossip for gossip. Do not give place to idle meddling, but pursue quiet diligence in the work God has given you, and entrust justice to Him. Love your neighbor as yourself, feed those entrusted to you with kindness, and stop the mouth of slander by refusing to spread it further. If you have been hurt by false lists, false claims, inflated prices or corruption, bring those matters honestly before God and before proper authorities without hatred or revenge.

Father in heaven, have mercy on us through Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our Savior. Forgive us our sins and cleanse us from malice and envy. Rebuke all gossip, lying, sorcery and division that has brought disorder and distress, and silence every tongue that devours a neighbor.
