Neighbor’s unemployment disaster disorder disturbs other house with fake employment with hospitalization and griff/ loss

We have heard your cry and the weight of what you are carrying with this neighbor, the disorder, the gossip, the spying and mocking, the confusion and extra burdens and even the suffering that has come near to hospitalization. It is right to bring this before God and to ask Him to rebuke what is evil and to bring peace where there is discord.

Scripture warns plainly as you quoted, that idolatry, sorcery, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, selfishness, dissensions, factions, envy and such things are works of the flesh, and those who practice them will not inherit the kingdom of God. We too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by passions, living in malice and envy, hating and being hated. For this reason we must ask God both to deliver us from these evils and to keep us from falling into them ourselves.

This is why we must take care how we speak about a neighbor. It is easy to say it was not I but the other who told me, yet if we repeat the story we become responsible for spreading it. We are called to shade over and conceal the failings of neighbors, not to parade them, and not to pass on a report that may not be true while asking God not to hold us to account for it. If we do not believe a rumor, we should not repeat it. We bite and devour one another by wronging, accusing and slandering, and we are warned that even if what we say is true, we will be judged by our own words. Gossip, voyeurism, idle meddling, false accusations, sorcery and divination have no place among the people of God, and love leaves no room for them. Where genuine love exists, envy, slander, boasting and strife are driven out, for love is the fulfilling of the law and on love of God and love of neighbor hang all the law and the prophets.

God is not a God of war and fighting. He calls us to make war and fighting cease, both toward Him and toward our neighbor. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God, and we imitate the Son of God when we seek peace. This does not mean that every concord is good, for even robbers can agree together, and sometimes a false peace must be ended so that true peace may come. But our calling is to be peaceful even with those who hate peace, to remember no evil, and to overcome enmity by mercy. The chief good in a home and in a neighborhood is agreement rooted in love, for where the head and body are in harmony, all the members are at peace.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask You to rebuke the spirit of gossip, slander, voyeurism, idleness, deceit, sorcery and every work of the flesh that brings disorder, division and bullying. Bring to an end the spying, the disrespectful images, the false reports, the wrong lists and numbers and the meddling that seeks to take advantage of others. Frustrate every scheme of corruption and every lying tongue, and do not allow the idle and destructive use of time to ruin reputations or to provoke further conflict.

We ask You to grant peace to this household and to the whole neighborhood, to heal what has been wounded by hospitalization and heavy bills and anxiety, and to deliver from the fear and exhaustion that has made suffering feel near to the grave. Provide for honest needs, guard what is delivered, redeem what has been lost or delayed, and protect from mockery and distraction. Give wisdom to set proper boundaries, to speak only what is true and helpful, and to keep silence where speech would only spread harm.

We pray also for the neighbor who does these things, that You would bring conviction, repentance and a turning from malice and envy to love. Teach us all to show mercy to our neighbors, for the merciful shall obtain mercy, and to do acts worthy of mercy rather than trusting in words alone. Make us peacemakers who love both You and our neighbor, who spare neither property nor effort to serve in love, who stop the mouth of slanderers by refusing to repeat slander, and who breathe peace in every place.

Grant that love may consume all that is hurtful as fire clears a forest, so that the soil of our hearts may be pure and ready for Your seed. Keep us humble, gentle and mild, free from covetousness and self love, and establish in this home and among these houses the peace that comes from You. We ask this trusting in Your mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

What you have described shows how painful and exhausting it is to live under constant disorder, gossip, spying, mockery and false information from a neighbor, especially when it spills over into real hardships like hospitalization, grief, extra bills, missing deliveries and ongoing anxiety. It is right to bring this before the Lord and to ask Him to restrain what is evil and to bring His order and truth into the situation.

Scripture is very honest about this kind of breakdown between neighbors. God says that every neighbor can fall into walking with slander, deceiving one another, refusing to speak truth, teaching the tongue to speak lies and speaking peaceably with the mouth while lying in wait in the heart. He says He hates that way of living, the imagining of evil against a neighbor and the sowing of discord and factions. You quoted Galatians 5 where sorcery, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfishness, dissensions, factions and envy are listed as works of the flesh that will not inherit the kingdom, and Titus 3 where we are reminded that we ourselves once lived in malice and envy, hated and hating one another before God showed mercy. That helps put this in perspective. This behavior is not just an annoyance, it is fleshly and destructive, and it needs repentance, not excuse.

There is also a difference between a false peace and the true peace God gives. People can say peace, peace when there is no peace, trying to cover over hurt slightly while the heart is still at war with God. As long as a life is at war with God there can be no real peace. True peace starts with having peace with God, and that is only possible through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who made peace through His blood. When you have been reconciled to God through Jesus, the war inside ends. Then you can begin to know the peace of God itself, the peace Jesus left and gave to His followers, the peace that passes all human understanding and guards the heart and mind.

That peace is kept for the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord because he trusts in Him. In a world full of chaos, turmoil and strivings, perfect peace comes as you turn your mind toward Christ and trust that He will take care of what you cannot control. You are not God and you are not called to be an agency to fix or protect or defend another household from all of its own consequences. You are not obligated to carry the weight of their idleness, their disorder or their demands. God has ordained peace for His people and He wants you to live in it, but that means learning to keep your eyes on Him rather than on the constant watching and reporting and provoking coming from next door.

The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable. It leads to peace and brings you to peace. It first brings peace within your own heart through forgiven sin, and then it makes you able to have peace with others because you are no longer at war inside. Jesus said blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God, and Scripture says the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. If you sow peace you will reap righteousness. That does not mean you pretend wrong is right or bless what God calls sin. It means you choose to speak truth to your neighbor, to execute fairness and honesty, to not imagine evil against your neighbor in return, and to leave vengeance to the Lord who said shall I not visit for these things.

So in practice, keep your mind stayed on Christ through prayer and the Word, ask God to keep you in His perfect peace, refuse to repay slander with slander, set clear and godly boundaries, document what needs documenting for practical matters like deliveries and bills, and pray for the peace of the place where God has placed you, knowing that in its peace you will have peace. Pray also for that neighbor, that God would bring conviction, repentance and a turn from idleness and meddling and falsehood to honest work and truthful speech.

Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your peace to rule here. We ask first for peace with You through the blood of Jesus for all who are calling on You, and then for Your peace to guard hearts and minds. We ask You to rebuke the spirit of gossip, slander, voyeurism, idleness, deception, sorcery and discord that has brought confusion, delay, loss and mockery. Restrain the lying tongue and the spreading of false information, the fake dealings and the taking advantage of others. Bring truth to light and let what is done in secret be stopped. We ask for healing where there has been hospitalization and grief, for provision where there have been extra bills and missing items, for protection from bullying and destruction of reputation, and for order where there has been disorder. Teach us to sow peace and to speak truth, to not return evil for evil, and to trust You to act justly. Keep the one praying in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting up your house before the Lord and joining you to rebuke the spirit of the gossiping neighbor, unemployment, idle laziness and the demonic influence that has led to spying, the distribution of information with disrespectful and mockery pictures, bullying, discord and the attempt to destroy reputation. We have prayed against the disorder, disaster, delay, missing items in delivery, distraction and confusion you described, and against the conflict of wrong lists, wrong sizes, sorcery numbers, error ranks, wrong sponsors, fake bosses and fake employment, and the meddling and taking advantage that has come with it. We have also prayed against the hospitalization tragedies, the grief and loss, the suffering and the burden of extra invoices, extra bills and extra money that has almost brought you to the point of wanting to go to the cemetery to stop the suffering, and we have asked God to silence the demonic smile and the war of gossip and to bring protection and peace to your home. We remember the scriptures you shared, Gal 5:20 and Titus 3:3, and we have prayed that God will rebuke idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, selfishness, dissensions and factions, and that He will deliver those enslaved by malice and envy, including the voyeurism, imposter syndrome, false meetings and fake rides you mentioned. We have prayed for the Lord to show that we are not God and we are not agency employees, and that we are not obligated to carry the disorder, anxiety and sorcery that has come between neighbors, but that God alone is our defender and protector.

We pray in Jesus Name for God to bring an end to this destructive laziness, to stop the disorder and to restore peace, truth and dignity to your household.
