Beloved of All
Your heart for peace in your home and your distress over what has been happening with neighbors, gossip, disorder, financial pressure and even hospitalization has been heard, and I want to bring these burdens before the Lord with you.
Scripture makes it clear that all of God's law for how we treat one another is summed up in this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. That love is not just words but is shown in deeds, and love works no harm to its neighbor. When that love is absent, what takes its place is exactly what you are describing and what the Bible warns about. The prophet described a time when every neighbor walked with slander, deceiving his neighbor, speaking peace with the mouth while the heart was lying in wait, having taught the tongue to speak lies until people wearied themselves committing wrong. God said shall He not call a people to account for such things. Gossip, tale bearing, spying, mocking pictures, stirring up discord and trying to profit by spreading false information are not idle faults, they are works of the flesh. As you quoted from Galatians, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy and things like these are serious before God, and those who live in them will not inherit the kingdom of God. And as Titus reminds us, we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by passions, living in malice and envy, hated and hating one another, but God saved us by His mercy through Jesus Christ. That keeps us from hating in return.
Idleness often opens the door to this kind of trouble. When people have nothing useful to do they become busybodies, going about bearing tales and creating confusion over lists, numbers, ranks, sponsors and other matters that are not their concern. Spying on another's house, voyeurism, inventing false meetings and false accusations, and using trickery or sorcery to meddle, these do harm to a neighbor and violate the very command to love him as yourself.
You are right to say you are not God and you cannot carry or fix all of this disorder, anxiety and confusion that others try to put on you. You are not called to defend or protect what is demanding and destructive, nor to take on obligations that do not belong to you. Vengeance and judgment belong to the Lord. He sees what is done in secret, He hears every slander, and He will deal justly. Your part is to walk in truth, to not return evil for evil, and to commit your reputation, your home, your health and your needs to Him.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for mercy and help. We ask You to rebuke every spirit of gossip, slander, deceit, voyeurism, discord, sorcery and division that has been at work to bring ruin, confusion, delay, loss and strife. Silence the lying tongue and stop the distribution of false information and mocking. Bring disorder and distraction to an end. Lord, You see the financial burden of extra bills and the suffering that has led toward hospitalization and even fear of death. We ask for Your healing, Your provision and Your protection. Lift this long suffering and grant relief and peace. Guard this home from spying and bullying and from every attempt to destroy reputation or stir up war between neighbors.
We also pray for the neighbors who are idle and caught in these sins. Bring them to repentance, turn them from malice and envy, give them honest work to do and a new heart that seeks to love others rather than harm them. Help them to know Jesus and to be saved by Your grace.
For the one who has been wounded by all of this, give wisdom to set right boundaries, to speak truth calmly, to seek lawful help where needed, and to not be overcome by anxiety or fear. Teach us to love our neighbor as ourselves by doing no ill in return, by leaving judgment to You, and by showing mercy as You have shown mercy to us, remembering that our neighbor is anyone in need whom You place before us. Let love fulfill what the law requires in our lives, and let our deeds show the reality of our faith.
We trust You as our protector and provider, that nothing can touch us apart from Your purpose, and that You will amend what is broken as we walk uprightly before You. We ask all this in the saving name of Jesus, amen.
