We have heard your cry and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ for your rest and your peace and your protection after these three long years of turmoil, hospitalization, emergencies and harassment around your home and your neighborhood. We agree with you that God alone is in control and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we take seriously the spiritual weight of what you are describing with the bullying in the road, the gatherings, the meddling into private life, the gossiping, the nosy and imprudent behavior, the witchcraft and sorcery, the sexual and spiritual voyeurism and the atmosphere of nightmare and disorder that has tried to steal your sleep.

We cling to the promise you quoted in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And we claim also Psalm 127:2, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Sleep is a gift from God and the enemy has no right to steal it from you. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.

We rebuke together in the name of Jesus Christ every demonic assignment, every spirit of witchcraft and sorcery, every spirit of voyeurism and perversion, every fake encounter and every attempt to transfer ruin, misery, tragedy, sickness and death onto you or onto others. Scripture is clear that we must have no fellowship with such works, for we are told to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather to reprove them, Ephesians 5:11, and that we are to mark those who cause divisions and occasions of stumbling contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them, Romans 16:17. We agree with you that we have no obligation to accommodate demonic or human harassment and that we are not called to be God for others or to carry what only God can carry. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and He is our defender, Deuteronomy 32:35 and Romans 12:19.

We also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes, Ephesians 6:11, and be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power, Ephesians 6:10. We submit ourselves therefore to God, we resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7. We are sober and watchful, for our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, but we resist him steadfast in the faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9, knowing that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We do gently correct the thought of seeking an answer at the cemetery or through any other spiritual means outside of Christ. The dead know nothing and we are not to consult them, and power to break this environment does not come from places of the dead but from the living Christ alone who has conquered death. We look only to Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, John 14:6. We thank you that you have called on the name of Jesus Christ in this request, and we affirm that when we pray in that name, the Father hears us.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our dear one who is weary from this long season of sabotage and sleeplessness. Lord, we ask You to rebuke every harassing spirit, every work of witchcraft and sorcery, every meddling and gossiping tongue, every voyeuristic and defiling spirit, and every assignment of disorder and discord that has surrounded this home and this life. Let every transfer of sickness, ruin and nightmare be cancelled and broken by the blood of Jesus. We ask You to command Your peace to fill this bed and this home. Let Your holy angels encamp around this dwelling, Psalm 34:7, and let no evil come near. Grant deep, uninterrupted, peaceful sleep as You have promised, and let this one both lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make us dwell in safety. Give wisdom to set godly boundaries, to avoid those who cause division, to not be drawn into strife, and to walk in love while also walking in truth, and if there is ongoing bullying or danger, give courage to seek help from godly counsel and from proper authorities, for You have appointed them for our protection, Romans 13:1. Heal the trauma of these three years, restore what has been stolen, and let Your rest reign in this life and in the lives of others affected in that neighborhood. We declare that You are faithful and You will guard us from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that no weapon that is formed against us will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. We receive Your rest and Your safety tonight and in all the nights to come. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy these last three years have been for you. Living with constant disturbance from neighbors, feeling watched and talked about, and carrying the memory of hospital emergencies would leave anyone exhausted and on edge, especially at night when you long simply to rest.

We want you to know you are not carrying this alone, and you are not responsible to fix or protect everyone around you. It is understandable to feel unsafe when your home does not feel peaceful. We hold fast with you to the truth that God remains in control and He is near to you in that place, even when the nights feel long and noisy.

One thing that may help in the days ahead is to bring both the spiritual and practical needs to trusted support. If sleep continues to be broken and nightmares persist, please consider sharing that with your doctor alongside prayer, so you can get care for your body as well as your spirit. It can also help to talk regularly with a trusted pastor or counselor who knows you, who can walk with you, help you set healthy boundaries with neighbors, and pray with you in person.

Father, in Jesus name we ask You to guard this friend tonight. Quiet the fear and bring deep, peaceful rest. Cover their home with Your safety and presence, and give wisdom for each step with neighbors. Lead them to steady help and remind them they are held by You. Amen.

How gracious is the promise you have set before the Lord, I will both lie down in peace and sleep for You alone O Lord make me dwell in safety. This sleep is not merely of nature but is the gift of God to His beloved. We do not sleep because we have composed ourselves upon our pillows and therefore must slumber, but because the Lord Himself watches over His people and gives rest to those who trust in Him. So He giveth His beloved sleep, the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security, for those who rest in Christ are kept safe though the world around them be in turmoil.

We join with you in prayer against the harassment and unrest you have described, the gatherings that disturb, the meddling and gossip, the voyeurism and all that pertains to witchcraft and sorcery, and every evil atmosphere that would steal peace and trouble the night. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we ask the Lord to rebuke every work of darkness and every scheme of the devil, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore we pray that you may be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power and may put on the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, that you may stand firm.

The Scripture urges us to be watchful of those who cause divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching of the faith and to avoid them. We pray for wisdom to keep such distance as is right, to guard the privacy of your home, and to commit your neighbors and all who trouble you to the hands of God who alone is Judge and Protector. We have no covenant with darkness and no obligation to the works of evil men or evil spirits, for we belong to Christ alone, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray also that you may not sleep as do others in spiritual slumber, but that you may be sober and vigilant, watching unto prayer, while yet enjoying the balmy sleep which God gives to restore His weary people. The prisoner in the dungeon forgets his manacles in sleep and the weary frame is recruited for fresh service, and how much more does the Lord give quietness to His own. May the Lord grant you quiet nights and peaceful rest, may He drive far from your dwelling every nightmare and disorder and discord, and may He make your bed a place of safety. May He keep your heart and mind in perfect peace as you lie down, knowing that whether waking or sleeping you are in Jesus, and those who sleep in Jesus are secure.

We ask the Lord to bring order where there has been confusion, to silence what has been used to harass, and to let His peace rule in your home and in the lives of others who suffer likewise. May He keep you from fear, for the Lord is your keeper who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

We commend you to His grace and pray that He will give you rest in body and soul, and cause you to dwell in safety, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
