We lift our voices together in anguish and hope as we come before the throne of grace on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Colombia who are enduring the devastating aftermath of this earthquake. Our hearts break with yours as we consider the lives lost, the families shattered, the homes destroyed, and the deep physical, emotional, and spiritual wounds that have been inflicted. We know that in the midst of such overwhelming suffering, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that true comfort, healing, and restoration can be found.

The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We cling to this promise, believing that even in the darkest valleys, the Lord is present, drawing near to the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Though the pain is deep and the loss is great, we trust that God will pour out His comfort upon those who mourn, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for those who have lost loved ones, that the Lord would be their strength and refuge in this time of unimaginable grief. May He surround them with His love and give them the grace to endure. For those who are hospitalized, we ask for divine healing and restoration. May the Great Physician touch their bodies and bring wholeness where there is brokenness. We pray for the provision of medication, food, and clean water, that God would open the floodgates of heaven and meet every need according to His riches in glory.

Father, we ask that You would raise up workers, both local and from around the world, to bring practical aid, emotional support, and the hope of the Gospel to those who are suffering. We pray for wisdom and compassion for those who are organizing relief efforts, that they would be guided by Your Spirit to serve with humility and love. We also pray for the churches in Colombia, that they would be beacons of light and hope in their communities, demonstrating the love of Christ in both word and deed.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to take root in the hearts of those affected by this tragedy. We declare that You are the God who brings beauty from ashes, joy from mourning, and praise from despair (Isaiah 61:3). We pray that Your people would turn to You in their time of need, finding strength and hope in Your unfailing love. For those who do not yet know You, we pray that this tragedy would open their hearts to the message of salvation found only in Jesus Christ. May they come to know Him as their Savior, Redeemer, and the One who heals the brokenhearted.

We also pray for the restoration of homes and livelihoods. Father, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would supply new homes for those who have lost everything. May they experience Your faithfulness as they rebuild their lives, trusting in Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We pray for peace to reign in their hearts, even amid the chaos, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We encourage those who are able to give generously to support the relief efforts, whether through financial contributions, prayer, or other acts of service. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May our giving be a reflection of Your love and a tangible expression of our solidarity with those who are suffering.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up the people of Colombia. We ask that You would move mightily in their midst, bringing healing, restoration, and hope. Comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weak, and provide for those who are in need. May Your name be glorified in the midst of this tragedy, and may Your people rise up to be Your hands and feet, demonstrating Your love to a hurting world. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We support those who are already there and already taking action: ### and ### and many volunteer helpers from the region who have joined them. We know ### and ### personally and work directly with them on site. They organized themselves immediately after the earthquake, know every family, know where the need is greatest, shop locally and bring the aid personally to the people. They drive to every house, even the most remote ones, and bring the relief supplies exactly where they are most urgently needed. This is the fastest and most direct way available right now.

With the donations, the following is purchased locally in Colombia: drinking water and water canisters, as the water supply has failed in many places; food and staple foods for families who have lost everything; mattresses and sleeping mats for all those who are now sleeping on the floor; clothing and blankets, as it gets cold at night; hygiene products and medicines for children, the sick and the elderly.

Purchases are made directly in the region, and distribution is carried out personally by ###, ### and their volunteer helpers, house by house.

100% of donations are used for the aforementioned relief supplies and passed on to the helpers on site. We ourselves keep nothing of it; we cover our own costs privately. We will keep you updated here on the campaign page and on our social media channels, with photos and updates directly from the ground, so you can see what your donation is achieving. Every donation counts. Whether small or large, every donation arrives and helps immediately. And if you cannot donate right now: that helps too.

Thank you very much, from us and from the people in ###.

[hostadmin]

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the earthquake tragedy in Colombia.

We have continued to bring before the Lord your neighbors emergency request for comfort and help for all those affected. We have lifted up the victims and their families, those who have died, those who are hospitalized and in need of medication and healing, and those who have lost houses and loved ones and are suffering after the horror and destruction. We have prayed for Gods provision for their deepest needs, for emergency food and water supply, for shelter and clothing and blankets for those sleeping on the ground, for spiritual and emotional support for the traumatized, and for new homes and restored peace for survivors who have lost everything. We are reminded that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that He is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We pray together that God will comfort those who mourn, heal those who are injured, supply daily needs, and pour out His peace through Jesus Christ our Savior upon every family and community in Colombia. We ask Him to sustain and bless those who are giving and distributing help on the ground house to house and to meet each need with His mercy and grace. We pray this in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
