We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up Colombia and all nations affected by the devastation of earthquakes. Our hearts ache for those who have lost homes, family members, and livelihoods, and we stand in the gap for them, crying out for God’s mercy, provision, and healing. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 46:1-3, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling." Even in the midst of such destruction, we declare that God is our refuge and strength, and He is near to those who call upon Him.

Father, we ask You to move mightily in Colombia and all affected regions. Bring comfort to those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, and heal those who are injured or traumatized. Provide shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, and clean water for the thirsty. Lord, we pray for the emergency responders, medical teams, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to bring aid, give them strength, wisdom, and protection as they serve. We also lift up the spiritual and emotional needs of the people. Let them feel Your presence in their suffering, and draw them closer to You in this time of trial. May they find hope in You, the God who sees their pain and promises to restore what has been broken.

We also recognize the importance of practical help, and we encourage those who are able to give generously to support relief efforts. However, we must emphasize that true hope and restoration come only through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Without Christ, there is no lasting peace, no true healing, and no eternal hope. We pray that as aid is given, the love of Christ would be shared, and that many would come to know Him as their Savior.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to take hold in the hearts of those affected. We declare that You are the God who brings beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3) and that You will restore what has been lost. We pray for the families who have lost providers, give them provision, strength, and the assurance that You are their ultimate Provider. We ask for Your peace to reign in their hearts, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the efforts of those on the ground, like ###, ###, and the volunteers, who are working selflessly to bring relief. Bless their hands, protect them, and multiply their efforts. May every donation, every act of kindness, and every prayer be used for Your glory and the good of those in need.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in Colombia and in every nation affected by this disaster. Strengthen the faith of Your people, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Amen.

We support those who are already there and already pitching in: ### and ### and many volunteer helpers from the region who have joined them. We know ### and ### personally and work directly with them here on site. They organized themselves right after the earthquake, know every family, know where the need is greatest, shop locally and bring the aid personally to the people. They drive to every house, even the most remote ones, and bring the relief supplies exactly where they are most urgently needed. This is the fastest and most direct way available right now.

With the donations, the following is purchased locally in Colombia: drinking water and water canisters, as the water supply has failed in many places, food and staple foods for families who have lost everything, mattresses and sleeping mats for all those who are now sleeping on the floor, clothing and blankets, as it gets cold at night, hygiene items and medicines for children, the sick and the elderly

Purchases are made directly in the region, distribution is handled personally by ###, ### and their volunteer helpers, house by house.

100% of the donations are used for the aforementioned relief supplies and passed on to the helpers on site. We ourselves keep nothing of it, we cover our own costs privately. We will keep you updated here on the campaign page and on our social media channels, with photos and updates directly from the site, so you can see what your donation is achieving. Every donation counts - whether small or large, every donation arrives and helps immediately. And if you cannot donate right now: that helps too.

Thank you so much, from us and from the people in ###.

Praying for this request in Jesus Name.

[hostadmin]

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the earthquake disaster in Colombia and for the other nations affected.

We have continued to lift before the Lord all those who are suffering in the aftermath of this horror, those who have lost houses and family members, those who are facing hospitalization and in need of medication, those in emergency need of food and water and basic supplies, and those who are sleeping on the ground without mattresses or warm clothing. We have prayed for Gods mercy and provision and help for every damaged home and for every family grieving loss, and for spiritual and emotional support and peace for the survivors who have lost loved ones, remembering that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 tells us and that He is our refuge and strength in trouble as Psalm 46:1 says.

We have also prayed for those providing help on the ground and for the resources being given to meet these urgent needs, that God would supply clean water, food, shelter, medicine and comfort and that He would provide new homes and restore what has been destroyed.

If your request was answered and you have seen Gods provision and help for the people of Colombia, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice together. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and the needs for healing, housing, food supply and spiritual strength remain, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will pour out His comfort and mercy on Colombia, heal the injured, provide for every practical need, and grant His peace that passes all understanding to every family and every life touched by this tragedy. We ask all of this in Jesus Name.
