Wir unterstützen die, die schon da sind und schon anpacken: Marianna und Fabiana und viele freiwillige Helferinnen und Helfer aus der Region, die sich ihnen angeschlossen haben. Wir kennen Marianna und Fabiana persönlich und arbeiten hier vor Ort direkt mit ihnen zusammen. Sie haben sich direkt nach dem Beben selbst organisiert, kennen jede Familie, wissen, wo die Not am größten ist, kaufen vor Ort ein und bringen die Hilfe persönlich zu den Menschen. Sie fahren zu allen Häusern, auch zu den entlegensten, und bringen die Hilfsgüter genau dorthin, wo sie am dringendsten gebraucht werden. Das ist der schnellste und direkteste Weg, den es gerade gibt.

Mit den Spenden werden vor Ort in Kolumbien konkret gekauft: Trinkwasser und Wasserkanister, die Wasserversorgung ist vielerorts ausgefallen Lebensmittel und Grundnahrungsmittel für Familien, die alles verloren haben Matratzen und Schlafunterlagen für alle, die jetzt auf dem Boden schlafen Kleidung und Decken, nachts wird es kalt Hygieneartikel und Medikamente für Kinder, Kranke und alte Menschen

Die Einkäufe erfolgen direkt in der Region, die Verteilung übernehmen Marianna, Fabiana und ihre freiwilligen Helferinnen und Helfer persönlich, Haus für Haus.

100 % der Spenden werden für die genannten Hilfsgüter verwendet und an die Helfenden vor Ort weitergegeben. Wir selbst behalten nichts davon, unsere eigenen Kosten tragen wir privat. Wir halten euch hier auf der Kampagnenseite und auf unseren Social-Media-Kanälen auf dem Laufenden, mit Fotos und Updates direkt vor Ort, damit ihr miterlebt, was eure Spende bewirkt. We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up Colombia and all nations affected by the devastation of earthquakes. Our hearts ache for those who have lost homes, family members, and livelihoods, and we stand in the gap for them, crying out for God’s mercy, provision, and healing. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 46:1-3, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling." Even in the midst of such destruction, we declare that God is our refuge and strength, and He is near to those who call upon Him.

Father, we ask You to move mightily in Colombia and all affected regions. Bring comfort to those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, and heal those who are injured or traumatized. Provide shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, and clean water for the thirsty. Lord, we pray for the emergency responders, medical teams, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to bring aid, give them strength, wisdom, and protection as they serve. We also lift up the spiritual and emotional needs of the people. Let them feel Your presence in their suffering, and draw them closer to You in this time of trial. May they find hope in You, the God who sees their pain and promises to restore what has been broken.

We also recognize the importance of practical help, and we encourage those who are able to give generously to support relief efforts. However, we must emphasize that true hope and restoration come only through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Without Christ, there is no lasting peace, no true healing, and no eternal hope. We pray that as aid is given, the love of Christ would be shared, and that many would come to know Him as their Savior.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to take hold in the hearts of those affected. We declare that You are the God who brings beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3) and that You will restore what has been lost. We pray for the families who have lost providers, give them provision, strength, and the assurance that You are their ultimate Provider. We ask for Your peace to reign in their hearts, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the efforts of those on the ground, like Marianna, Fabiana, and the volunteers, who are working selflessly to bring relief. Bless their hands, protect them, and multiply their efforts. May every donation, every act of kindness, and every prayer be used for Your glory and the good of those in need.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in Colombia and in every nation affected by this disaster. Strengthen the faith of Your people, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Amen.
