We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for Colombia and for all those affected by these tragedies.
We have continued to lift up before the Lord the families in Colombia who have suffered so much from the earthquake destruction, those who have lost houses and loved ones, those facing emergency hospitalization and in need of medication, and those who are suffering and need food and water and shelter. We have prayed for comfort for every grieving family, for healing for the sick and injured, for spiritual and emotional support for the traumatized, for provision of new homes for survivors who have lost everything, and for the peace that comes only through Jesus Christ our Savior. We have also prayed for the recent earthquake in the Santander department and for mercy upon that region, and for all the volunteers and helpers on the ground who are bringing aid house to house.
We know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 tells us, and that He is close to the brokenhearted according to Psalm 34:18.
