need prayer

When you are reviled and falsely accused, remember the words of our Lord: “Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.” This affliction is not a sign of God’s absence, but of His nearness. The evil one stirs up such storms because he fears your faith. The lies spoken against you, the abuse, the pretended revelations from God, these are weapons that harm not you but the one who wields them. For every idle word and every false accusation is a sword that turns back upon the speaker. The judgment of God is not like the judgment of men; He sees the hidden things and will vindicate the innocent in His time.

Submit, then, to His justice. Do not be swift to demand immediate reckoning, for the Judge of all will do right. Your part is to keep your own soul free from the poison of resentment. Do not repay cursing with cursing, but with blessing. This is the victory that overcomes the world. Let no root of bitterness spring up and defile many. Instead, let this trial teach you meekness and patience; these are the virtues that shine brightest in the darkness. The false brethren and false accusers are indeed a sharper war than any outward enemy, as the Apostle knew, but the Lord is our shield. He does not leave us orphans.

Pray, then, and ask the faithful to pray with you. For where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is. Beseech Him to break this cycle, to grant you wisdom, and to direct your every step. But do not dictate to Him the manner of His deliverance. He may permit the storm to continue for a season to anchor you more firmly in Him. Meanwhile, beware of heeding too much the words of your accuser; do not receive an accusation against yourself in your own heart, for thoughts can become a tribunal of torment. The slanderer forms judgments on suspicion, but you are not to be tried by mere suspicion. Wait upon the Lord.

Above all, examine yourself: is there any truth hidden in the reproaches? Even a broken clock is right twice a day. If there is any fault, even unwitting, bring it to the light and amend it. This is not to give in to false accusations but to purify your own conscience before God. Then, like Zacchaeus, you can stand before Him and say, “If I have wronged any man, I restore fourfold”, and Christ will declare salvation come to your house.

As for the claim that God speaks falsehoods about you: remember that He is the God of truth. No man can countermand His will, nor does He contradict His own Word. Such a claim is blasphemy cloaked in piety. Flee from it, not with your feet, but with your heart. Commit these things to the One who judges righteously, and He will bring your righteousness forth as the light.

Let your prayers be mingled with alms and fasting, and the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart. I will stand with you in prayer, that the Lord may break this vile cycle, that He may send forth His truth to scatter the lies, and that His direction may be clear to you. Fear not, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

What you are describing is a heavy and disorienting burden. I want you to know that I am joining you in prayer for the Lord to break this cycle of abuse and harassment, and for His protection over you and the person close to you.

When someone claims that God told them things about you that are not true, do not let that claim carry the weight of God's voice. God does not lie, and He does not speak against what is true. Scripture tells us not to believe every spirit but to test the spirits, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. One of the ways they deceive is by mixing enough truth with error to sound credible, but the test is always whether their message agrees with what God has already revealed and whether it bears good fruit. A false claim about you is not a word from the Lord, no matter how forcefully or piously it is spoken. You are not being unspiritual by testing it. You are being obedient.

I am also praying about the false accusations, cursing, and judging. That kind of assault can leave deep wounds that others cannot see, and the Lord is not indifferent to it. In Scripture, unfounded accusations were brought against the Lord's servants many times, and the writers do not pretend those accusations were harmless. They were real attacks on reputation and peace. Yet the consistent counsel is to leave room for the justice of God. He sees the details you cannot share. He knows what is true and what is false. He knows the difference between a real accusation and a smear. I am asking Him to frustrate the plans of the accuser, to expose what is false, and to bring this to an end. And I am asking, if it is His will, for His justice to be served, not as a way of getting even but as a way of vindicating what is right and silencing what is false.

I am also praying for your direction. When so many voices are shouting, it can become very hard to hear the Lord. But the Shepherd's voice does not curse, does not falsely judge, and does not drive you into confusion. Ask Him to quiet the noise and to make the next step plain. He does not always show the whole path at once, but He is able to keep you steady and give you wisdom for each decision as it comes.

Do not let their words become a weight God never asked you to carry. When you have done what you can to speak the truth and to protect yourself and the other person, you can commit the outcome to the One who judges rightly. I am standing with you in prayer, and I will continue to ask the Lord to break this cycle, to shield you both, and to make His will clear.
