These people give me problems at work and I’m thiink my job is not looking good. They do alit of backstabbing to me and it upsets me. Please pray for me thank you Jesus I pray. Amen

We hear your distress and frustration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden to the Lord. Workplace conflicts can weigh heavily on the heart, especially when they involve deceit, backstabbing, and uncertainty about your job. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." Even in the midst of unfair treatment, God sees your struggles and promises to bring justice and vindication in His perfect timing.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or resentment, as Ephesians 4:31-32 instructs, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." While it is difficult to extend grace to those who wrong us, the Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven. This does not mean tolerating sinful behavior, but rather releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to handle it.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing workplace strife and uncertainty. Lord, You know the pain of betrayal and the weight of injustice, and we ask that You would be near to them in this difficult season. Strengthen their heart, Lord, and remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, not in the opinions or actions of others. We ask that You would expose any deceit or unrighteousness in their workplace and bring truth to light. Give them wisdom in how to respond with grace and integrity, even in the face of adversity.

Father, we also pray for their job security. If it is Your will for them to remain in this position, open doors of favor and protection. If it is time for a change, make the path clear and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in Your provision, as Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength. Help them to rest in Your promises and to walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control.

We also ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are causing harm. If there is any opportunity for reconciliation or repentance, open their eyes to see the error of their ways and turn from their sin. If not, we trust that You will deal with them justly in Your time.

Above all, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You through this trial. May this season deepen their faith and reliance on You, and may they emerge stronger, wiser, and more compassionate. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to work all things together for good for those who love You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel if possible, whether through a trusted pastor, mentor, or Christian friend. Sometimes the Lord uses others to provide wisdom and perspective in difficult situations. Also, consider whether there are steps you can take to address the issues at work in a way that honors God, whether through honest communication, setting boundaries, or seeking mediation if appropriate.

Remember, the Lord is your ultimate defender and provider. Even if your job situation changes, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. You are not alone in this.

We can only imagine how heavy it feels to walk into work each day knowing there are people who undermine you, and to carry the added weight of wondering if your job is slipping away. When trust is broken and the future seems uncertain, it’s completely natural to feel upset and even a little paralyzed.

One thing that often helps in a fog like this is to separate what you know from what you fear. Anxiety loves to blur those lines. Try grabbing a quiet moment and a piece of paper: write down the actual, observable facts (specific actions, words, changes) and then the worries that are growing around them. Getting it outside your head can lower the temperature just a bit. After that, you might list every option you can think of, not just “stay and suffer” or “leave,” but the in-between moves too. Is there a trusted colleague or a neutral leader you could ask for perspective? Sometimes a single honest conversation can reveal that things aren’t as final as they feel, or at least clarify where you stand.

We remember a young man in a similar spot who was suddenly sure he was going to be pushed out. His panic only lifted when a counselor helped him lay out all his alternatives and then weigh them against what mattered most to him right then. It didn’t erase the difficult coworkers, but it gave him back his ability to move forward instead of spinning.

More importantly, your worth is not defined by this job or the backstabbing. God is with you in this, and He hears your cry. We’re standing with you.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You see every unfair word and every hidden worry. Please lift the fog of fear and give our friend steady, clear thoughts. Surround them with wise counsel, shield their work, and open a steady path ahead, whether right here or somewhere new. Anchor their heart in Your peace. In Your name, amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The sharp arrows of a backbiting tongue wound deeply, and when they fall upon us in our daily labour, it is as vinegar upon a fresh wound. Yet think of Job, whose friends sorely vexed him with their accusations. What was the turning of his captivity? He prayed for his friends. It is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, when we plead for those who have done us wrong. Go to your chamber and cry out, "Lord, help me!", for that is a handy prayer, a prayer for every place, a prayer for those under great strain. Do not restrain prayer by hiding the bitterness in your heart, but pour it all out before Him. You must be explicit, for hidden griefs fester into unbelief.

Remember, you do not wrestle alone. Christ has prayed for you, and His plea prevails. He saw the tempest that would shake you, and before the trial came, He interceded. Lay hold of that truth. And for yourself, do not go from prayer into the world and leave behind the peace you might have carried with you. Keep the mercy-seat near at hand, so that in the very moment when the tongue sharpens against you, your heart may whisper, "Lord, help me!" This prayer will do to die with, and it will do to work with. The keys of Providence have not slipped from His hand; no employer, no slanderer, can move you unless He permits.

I do pray for you now, that the God of peace, who raised our Lord from the dead, will quiet your spirit and make you steadfast. May He turn your captivity even as Job's, giving you grace to pray for those who trouble you, and in due time restore to you the joy of your labour. And if that post should fail, trust Him who opens doors no man can shut. Let not your heart be troubled. I have prayed for you.

You are enduring the sting of unjust treatment, and the uncertainty of your employment weighs heavily. But consider how God often orders things: the very hurts we receive become the means of our benefit. Remember Joseph. His master�s wife sought his ruin, and indeed she seemed to contrive it, yet by her accusation he was placed in prison, which became a place of safety compared to the den of that wild beast. While he was in honor in the household, he walked in constant fear; after he was cast down, he was in security, with God as his friend. His brothers sold him into slavery, but that freed him from the daily envy and hatred of those who dwelt with him. So it often is: when we are in earthly honor, we face spiritual danger; when we are dishonored, we find safety. God permits these trials not to harm you but to detach you from the fear of men and to bind you closer to Himself.

Do not be upset by the backstabbing of your colleagues. They act from private feeling, seeking honor from men; what is that to you if you have the grace of God? If His favor rests on you, nothing will be grievous. Even a word spoken in defense of truth, or a sigh for the wrongs you suffer, carries a reward with the Lord. So do not repay evil for evil. Show mercy, as far as it depends on you. Pray for them, and trust your cause to the righteous Judge. The present distress is short; the affliction is light when weighed against the eternal weight of glory. Wait for the promise of the Father; rely on the Comforter who strengthens in every trial. I will join my prayers to yours, that you may be well-pleasing to God, and that His grace may fortify you with such peace that no human malice can disturb your soul.

The turmoil you feel when people twist the knife at work is very real, and I am sorry you are facing it. When a job feels uncertain and relationships turn ugly, it is easy to panic and wonder what you did to deserve it. That question can eat at you, and well-meaning voices may even whisper that you must have done something wrong to bring this on yourself. But the truth is often far more complicated.

I think of a man long ago who lost nearly everything and was covered in pain while his own friends insisted he was a secret hypocrite. They looked at his misery and assumed God was punishing him. But the whole time, behind the scenes, God was boasting about the man’s integrity. His suffering was not a payment for his sins; it was evidence that his life mattered enough for the enemy to attack. His friends could not see that, so they piled on accusations instead of comfort. That can happen to us today. Not every setback is a signal that you are off track with God. Sometimes trouble comes precisely because you are doing what is right, and there are forces at work that you cannot see.

I do not pretend to know exactly what twist of events has led to this backstabbing, but I do know where your hope rests. There is one who stands between you and the Father, a mediator who understands both sides perfectly. Jesus became your daysman, laying His hand on you and on God, so that you never have to sort through your suffering alone. You can pour out the confusion and hurt to Him without fear. He is not scanning the clouds for reasons to condemn you.

So keep walking uprightly. Do not return evil for evil. Entrust your job, your reputation, and your future to the Lord who sees what is hidden. I am praying that you will know His peace that goes beyond understanding, even while the eyes of men in your workplace seem so hostile.
