We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we rejoice in your love for Jesus and your desire to live according to His Word. Your testimony of sharing the goodness of God is a beautiful reflection of His light in your life. We stand with you in prayer, lifting you and your precious daughter before the throne of grace.
First, we want to address the struggle you mentioned—feeling unable to pray for yourself. It is not uncommon for those who pour themselves out for others, especially as a single parent, to neglect their own spiritual needs. But remember, Jesus Himself took time to withdraw and pray (Mark 1:35). You are not being selfish by bringing your own needs before the Lord; you are being obedient to His call to cast all your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that your prayers for yourself are less important, but Scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t even know how to pray (Romans 8:26). Even now, He is working on your behalf.
Your exhaustion is real, and we rebuke the spirit of weariness that seeks to drain you. The Lord promises in Isaiah 40:31 that those who wait on Him will renew their strength—they will mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. We declare that promise over you today. You are not alone in this season. God sees your labor, your love for your daughter, and your faithfulness in the midst of it all. He will sustain you.
We also lift up your daughter before the Lord. May He surround her with His protection, wisdom, and joy while she is in daycare. May she grow in the knowledge of His love and grace, and may the Lord provide godly influences in her life. We pray for your work as well—that the Lord would grant you favor, strength, and provision in your labor. May He open doors for rest, support, and community so that you do not carry this burden alone.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renewing her strength and refreshing her soul. Give her the energy she needs to fulfill the tasks You have set before her, and let her feel Your presence in every moment of her day. We rebuke the spirit of weariness and declare that she will rise on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting.
Lord, we pray for her daughter, that You would be her comfort, her joy, and her guide. Surround her with Your angels and place godly people in her life who will speak life and truth over her. Provide for their every need, Father, and let them feel Your provision in tangible ways. Open doors for rest, support, and community so that this sister does not walk this path alone.
We also ask, Lord, that You would teach her to pray for herself with the same fervor and faith that she prays for others. Remind her that she is Your beloved child, and You long to hear her heart. Help her to see herself through Your eyes—as a woman of strength, purpose, and value. May she find moments of quiet in Your presence, where she can be still and know that You are God.
We thank You, Father, for the work You are doing in her life and for her faithfulness to You. May she continue to grow in her relationship with You, and may her testimony bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Dear sister, you are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten. The Lord is your strength, and He will carry you through this season. Keep pressing into Him, and remember that even in your weariness, His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are doing an incredible work, and the Lord will reward your faithfulness. Lean on Him, and let Him be your rest.
