Hi , a subject i always enjoyed was the idea their being haunted houses and ghost sightings, I was always told at least with the Catholics that you are suppose to condemn the idea of that existing ,
I personally read a kings James New Testament book, it did not mention anything to deny the existence of ghosts .

The movie, releasing in theaters this fall, tells the story of a young teenage girl, an outcast struggling to fit in. She soon discovers she has magical powers and enters a world called a rhyme with Ex, where she learns more about witchcraft, spells, and how to channel her supernatural abilities.
While the film seems to suggest there is witchcraft that is morally good, the former pagan explains that’s not the case, pointing to biblical admonitions from Yahweh flat out saying to avoid it.
In Deuteronomy 18:10-14 (NLT), it says:
Do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the LORD your God will drive them out ahead of you. But you must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the LORD your God forbids you to do such things.
There is no morally acceptable witchcraft in God’s sight, according to Scripture.
Although some might argue movies like the upcoming one are just entertainment, whereas she maintains such films are problematic.
It’s so important to disregard the aesthetic, because it’s the same evil and it’s the same author of these practices: the devil, she said, later adding, This isn’t just a movie. This is implanting and brainwashing the demonic agenda into your minds and into the minds of your children.
We ought to guard our eye gates, our ear gates, and we should be extremely discerning and, honestly, not glorify or celebrate anything that Jesus died on the cross for.

And, much like it’s portrayed in the movie, she believed the divination she was practicing was a benefit to herself and those around her because — in her words — she wasn’t trying to curse people for bad things to happen to them.

"See to it No One MISLEADS You," Jesus, Matt 24:4, Evil people and imposters will grow from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived," 2 Tim 3:13. Lead our youth and adults alike to repent as those who practiced magic abandoned their scrolls and repented in Ephesus, Acts 19:19, "And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books and burned them in front of everyone. When the value of the books was calculated, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas," i.e. ~ $###,### Dollars... So whereas ghosts aren't diminished, or the reality rebuked by Jesus, but the Fascination and the flaunting and idolatry with them over The Living Christ is definitely not putting our minds on the things of heaven, where Christ is, Col 3:1...
"When men tell you to consult the spirits of the dead and the spiritists who whisper, mutter and "peep", shouldn’t a people consult their God instead? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn," Isa 8:19-20.
