We hear your cry for help and lift your heart before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for us all. You have rightly acknowledged Him as the One who forgives sins, blesses, and guides—this is the foundation of our faith. Let us stand together on His promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.
First, we rejoice that you have turned to Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that our sins are washed away, and we are made new. If you have not yet confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we encourage you to do so now, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and greatest blessing, and from it flows all other guidance and provision.
Now, let us pray together for the path ahead. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your forgiveness and mercy. Lord, we ask that You would illuminate the path before [this dear one], that Your Word would be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Guide them in every decision, whether in their work, their calling, or their future. Give them wisdom, as You promise in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen their hands in their work. Bless the labor of their hands, that it may be fruitful and glorify You. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). May they find joy and purpose in their daily tasks, knowing that their work is ultimately for Your kingdom.
Father, if there are areas in their life where they have strayed from Your will—whether in relationships, habits, or priorities—we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them back to Your truth. Help them to walk in holiness, for "without holiness no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). If they are seeking a spouse, may they do so with patience and discernment, looking for a godly partner who shares their faith and commitment to You. Remind them that marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by You to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard their heart from impatience or compromise, and let them trust in Your timing.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or doubt that may be trying to hinder their path. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Stand firm in the armor of God, dear one, and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7).
Lastly, we encourage you to remain rooted in God’s Word and in fellowship with other believers. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). Surround yourself with those who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable in love.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
