We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord Jesus, and we join you in seeking His forgiveness, blessing, and guidance. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace and mercy that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He alone can forgive sins and guide your path.
Firstly, we rejoice in the truth that Jesus forgives all our sins when we come to Him in repentance. The Word of God assures us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for Your boundless mercy and grace that washes away our sins. Lord, we ask that You forgive every sin and fault in [###'s] life. Cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus and create in them a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within them, and help them to walk in Your ways. Guide their steps and lead them on the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. We pray that You would bless their life abundantly, providing for their every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord Jesus, we also lift up their future to You. You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You reveal Your will for their life clearly. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, let them acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions about their future, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray for their work. Whatever their hands find to do, may they do it with all their might, as working for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23). Bless the work of their hands and establish the works of their heart. Provide opportunities for them to glorify You in their workplace, and let their light shine before men, that they may see their good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). Protect them from discouragement and burnout, and fill them with Your strength and joy each day.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may be trying to hinder their walk with You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and we pray that they will feel Your presence with them every moment of every day.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable. Remember that God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His perfect timing and plan for your life.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
