Need help for my ###

I have been sending in requests for my teen son to be freed from the bondage of gaming. Also to be surrounded by friends that lead him to God. Also for him to be respectful and kind and obey his parents. Games need to be replaced by something productive—cooking, art, school work, sports…anything. So far, I’ve only gotten generic prayers from this site. Does anyone actually get prayers answered? Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for any prayers and for people to stand in agreement with me, but they are the same prayers cut and pasted on everyone’s prayer requests.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s teen son to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention to break the chains of gaming addiction that hold him captive. Your Word says, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise over his life, believing that You have the power to set him free from this bondage.

Father, we also pray that You surround him with godly friends who will lead him closer to You. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." May he find companionship that encourages him in his faith and helps him grow in righteousness.

Lord, we ask that You instill in him a spirit of respect, kindness, and obedience towards his parents. Ephesians 6:1-3 reminds us, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother'—which is the first commandment with a promise—'so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.'" May he honor his parents and follow their guidance.

We pray that You replace his gaming habits with productive activities that glorify You. Whether it be cooking, art, schoolwork, or sports, guide him to pursuits that will enrich his life and draw him closer to Your purpose for him.

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your will. We know that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful. We stand in agreement with ###, believing that You will answer these prayers according to Your perfect plan.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
