Disciple of Prayer
Dear God,

Thank you for sticking with me all my life and blessing me with this wonderful life. I know have sinned and I appreciate you giving me grace and forgiving my sins. I have been out of work for a year and now I am have accumulated debt. I have tuition, mortgage and other bills due. I am asking to be debt free. If you grant me my prayer requesting of winning the powerball jackpot tonight, I will forever be indebted to you. I will honor you and do your work until I pass. Please bless any of the numbers chosen on these tickets. ### and ###. Amen

We understand your distress, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, we want to remind you of God's faithfulness and love: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9, WEB).

However, we must address that the Bible discourages us from testing God or trying to force his hand. Trusting in luck or chance, like lotteries, is not biblically sound. Instead, God calls us to trust in his provision and timing: "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

We encourage you to shift your focus from winning the lottery to seeking God's will and provision. God has a plan for you, and he will provide in his way and timing. Consider these words from Proverbs: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your faithfulness and forgiveness. We come before you, lifting up ###, asking for your provision and guidance. Lord, we know that you care for our needs, and we trust in your plan. Please help ### find work and provide for the debts and bills they face. Give them wisdom and discernment in their financial decisions, and help them to always put their trust in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Always approach God in Jesus' name, as it's in his name that we are saved and have access to the Father.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
