πŸ™‡πŸ» Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

πŸ™‡πŸ» We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

πŸ™Œ We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift up our hearts in unity, standing in the gap for our national, world, church, and civic leaders as we heed the call of 1 Timothy 2:1-4 to offer prayers, petitions, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, especially for those in authority. Father, we recognize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, that we have access to You (John 14:6), and it is by His blood alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We come before You in His mighty name, acknowledging that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Lord, we pray for wisdom, salvation, and protection for all leaders, whether in government, the church, or civic spheres. You have established authority, and we submit to it as unto You (Romans 13:1), trusting that You raise up leaders and bring them down according to Your sovereign will (Daniel 2:21). We ask that You would grant them humility to seek Your face, wisdom to govern justly, and discernment to recognize truth from deception. May they be like channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1), directed by Your Spirit to lead with righteousness and integrity.

We rebuke the spirit of division, corruption, and falsehood that seeks to infiltrate leadership. We declare that the plans of the wicked will not stand (Psalm 33:10-11), and we ask that You would expose and dismantle every ungodly alliance that opposes Your purposes. Father, we pray for the protection of free speech, press, and publication so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ may go forth unhindered (Matthew 28:19-20). Let the light of Your truth pierce the darkness, leading many to repentance and salvation.

We intercede for the "beautiful land" (Daniel 11:41) and its people, asking for Your peace to reign in every nation. Guard the hearts and minds of leaders with Your peace (Philippians 4:7), and let them govern in a way that allows Your people to live quiet and godly lives (1 Timothy 2:2). We thank You for those leaders who honor You and ask that You would strengthen and encourage them. For those who do not yet know You, we pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), standing firm against the schemes of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We ask for angelic protection over leaders, their families, and all who serve in positions of influence (Psalm 91:11). May they be shielded from the attacks of the enemy and walk in the victory that Christ has already won.

Father, we trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We submit ourselves to You, resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). We thank You for hearing our prayers, and we ask that You would move mightily in the hearts of leaders around the world. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful for your heart to pray so broadly and faithfully for those in authority, it’s easy to forget the many leaders who need wisdom, protection, and genuine salvation. Even when we struggle with certain leaders or decisions, joining in prayer like this reminds us that God alone reigns, and he uses even unlikely people to accomplish his purposes. Your request actually strengthens our own prayer life: it’s a concrete reminder to pray not just for those we agree with, but for all in high positions, trusting that the Lord’s will can work through them.

One practical thing that can help sustain this kind of praying is to anchor it to a simple daily rhythm, perhaps using a news headline each morning as a prompt to pray for the individuals or countries involved. That transforms distant headlines into personal intercession and keeps you from feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of people and places. You don’t need to cover everything each time; you can let the day’s events guide you, and trust that your consistent β€œyes” to pray is already bearing fruit.

We pray together with you now: Father, we lift up every president, prime minister, governor, judge, and pastor you have placed in authority. Grant them wisdom and humility, protect them from evil, and guide their decisions toward what is right and just. Save those who do not yet know you, and strengthen those who already walk with you in their public callings. We ask for the peace of every land, and for the global advance of the gospel, so that many may come to the knowledge of the truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a great mercy when the people of God are stirred to pray after this manner, pouring out their hearts for rulers and for nations, and laying hold of the promise that all men should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Such prayer ascends like incense before the throne, and He who sits in the heavens does whatever He pleases. Yet let us be clear on this point: the holy oratory of the pulpit and the polished speech of the council chamber are nothing if they are but the Judas spirit, putting Christ up for pieces of silver while the heart pursues gain or fame. Woe to that man who makes a bargain of godliness; he is a son of perdition. True prayer for authority must spring from the fear of the Lord, which alone is strong confidence and a place of refuge for His children.

You plead for leaders to be saved, to possess wisdom and humility, to foster godly alliances, and to champion liberty for the Gospel’s advance. Yes, pray that they may not merely lean upon Christ as a stone leans upon a foundation, but that they may know a living union with Him, as the branch draws life from the Vine. For if Christ’s life does not lay hold of a man, if he is not emptied of all pretensions of his own, then all his governance is but a dwelling-place built of alabaster and gold which the Eternal will not inhabit. The Lord looks to him who is of a contrite spirit and who trembles at His word. He that strips himself of self-admiration shall long for the robe of righteousness which Christ provides, and there alone is salvation.

Consider the test of prayer itself. It is easy to cry out in public, β€œLord, help our rulers,” but will you always call upon God? Public prayer is no evidence of piety, it is practiced by an abundance of hypocrites, but private prayer is a thing for which the hypocrite has no heart. Examine whether your intercession for the President, the SCOTUS justices, the generals, and the pastors is the pulse of a living soul or only the imitation of a spiritual action. The man who never wrestles alone in his closet may well be one of those who will not always call upon God. All our times of national anxiety ought to be times of private prayer; every funeral knell of liberty should ring us to our knees.

And as you pray for peace and the diminishment of evil, remember that the first result of true prayer is often battle, storm, and earthquake upon the earth. The trumpet sounds, and the warriors of the Cross must gird on their swords. Yet the fruit of this Tree of Life is for the healing of the nations. Plead for that healing, but do not think the doctrine of God’s fixity of events makes prayer void. The supremacy of the Almighty’s will is the very ground on which we urge our plea, for He works all things after the counsel of His own will, and He bids us ask that His face may shine upon the sanctuary. Let the request be importunate: β€œWill You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”

For the nations cannot know the shining of God’s countenance except through a living Church. A lifeless Church is a dishonor to God, and the better a Church has been, the more of a nuisance it becomes when His presence is gone. So pray for the pastors, the spiritual leaders, with holy jealousy, that their faith fail not. For if faith is destroyed, all the graces cease. And what is the great protection of our faith? Our Savior’s intercession. β€œI have prayed for you,” He says. He shows His wounds and pleads the merit of His sacrifice, and this is the preservative that shields the whole person of the poor attacked one. You ask for angelic protection and for the thwarting of the wicked. Look higher: the intercession of Christ covers the entire person of His people.

Therefore, bring this prayer for national leaders, for the beautiful land, for the peace of God’s people worldwide, and for the salvation of the worst. Lay it at the feet of Him who is greater than he that is in the world. And when you have done, let your own soul take up the cry, β€œLord, help me,” for that is the prayer for everybody, the prayer that suits the sick, the dying, the burdened heart, and it opens the gates of heaven. The God of peace will be with you, and the peace that guards the heart and mind will keep you, through Christ Jesus.

You do well to offer such earnest supplications for all who are in authority, for this is a sacrifice pleasing to God. The apostle commands us first of all to make prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for kings and all in high places, not because they are worthy, but that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is the very medicine for the tumult of the world. When you pray for rulers, whether you approve of them or not, you obey a divine law and contribute to the common peace. Even a wicked ruler, when prayed for, may become a channel of water in the hand of the Lord, and through the peace they provide, the Gospel runs swiftly.

But remember the true wisdom of which I spoke: the word of the Cross, which is foolishness to the world, yet the power of God for salvation. You ask for the salvation of leaders, and rightly, for God desires all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. But do not imagine this salvation comes through earthly alliances or worldly wisdom. The rulers of this world, with their schemes, are coming to nothing. The only lasting peace is that which Christ left us: not as the world gives, but peace with God through reconciliation. When we pray for peace, we ask for the removal of the division between heaven and earth, that the sword of the Spirit might cut away the diseased parts and unite the healthy.

You mention the armor of God, and I say: stand firm, having girded your loins with truth. That truth is not the shifting opinion of courts, but the unchanging Gospel. Your prayers for leaders are a shield of faith, quenching the fiery darts of the evil one who sows discord. But let your intercessions be joined with your own repentance and pursuit of holiness, for the beam in our own eye must be removed before we can see clearly to help others.

Continue then in this holy duty, giving thanks always, for the Lord omnipotent reigns, and He works even through flawed authorities to accomplish His purpose. Pray not only for their protection, but above all for their conversion; that they, like all men, might forsake the wisdom that perishes and embrace the foolishness of the Cross, which is the very power of God for their eternal peace.
