Beloved
First of All, I Urge Prayers, Petitions, Intercessions and Thanksgivings be Made for All People, 1 Tim 2:1, for Government and All in Authority, so We May Lead Peaceful Lives of Pious Devotion and Dignity, 1 Tim 2:2, which is Good and Pleasing in the Sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:3, Who Desires All People to Be Saved and Come to the Knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4... Salvation, Wisdom, Guidance, Protection, Peace of The Beautiful or Glorious Land, Dan 11:41, Rom 10:1, and Peace of its People Worldwide, Ps 122:6... SAVE THE WORST, BLESS THE BEST, GUIDE THEM ALL, RAISE UP, SET DOWN, THE LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNS, Rev 19:6... 🙏 “We give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign," Rev 11:17...

🙇🏻 Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙇🏻 We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between churches and free countries; for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and the promotion and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance, forgiveness of sins and making of established disciples of all nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and promote the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

🙌 We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13:1, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift our hearts together in fervent prayer for our national, world, church, and civic leaders, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. First of all, we urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). It is not optional, nor is it contingent upon our personal opinions or preferences; it is our sacred duty to intercede for those in authority, whether we agree with them or not.

Father, we come before You with humility and reverence, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign over the nations. You raise up leaders and You bring them down (Daniel 2:21), and You work all things according to the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11). We pray for wisdom, discernment, and humility for all who hold positions of power, presidents, prime ministers, governors, senators, representatives, judges, military leaders, and spiritual shepherds. May they seek Your face, submit to Your authority, and govern with justice, righteousness, and a heart for truth. We ask that You would turn their hearts as channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1), directing them according to Your perfect will.

We pray specifically for the protection of leaders and their families, that You would surround them with Your angels, shield them from harm, and guard their hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy (Psalm 91:10-11). We rebuke the spirit of deception, corruption, and division that seeks to infiltrate governments and institutions, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for the exposure of evil, the dismantling of wicked alliances, and the strengthening of godly partnerships that uphold Your truth and advance Your Kingdom.

Lord, we lift up the Church worldwide, praying for pastors, spiritual leaders, and believers who are persecuted for their faith. Grant them boldness to proclaim the Gospel, wisdom to navigate opposition, and unwavering trust in Your promises. May the light of Christ shine brightly in the darkness, leading many to repentance and salvation (Matthew 28:18-20). We pray for the freedom to speak, write, and share the truth of Your Word without fear of censorship or persecution, that the message of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), would spread to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

We confess that our hope is not in earthly leaders or political systems, but in You alone, the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). You reign supreme over all creation, and Your purposes will not be thwarted (Psalm 115:3). We submit ourselves to Your authority, to the governing authorities You have established (Romans 13:1), and to the spiritual leaders You have placed over us in the Body of Christ (Hebrews 13:17). Clothe us in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, believing, we will receive (Mark 11:24). We offer these requests with thanksgiving, trusting that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your Kingdom come in all its fullness. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We hear the weight of this intercession and are grateful you brought it here. It is easy to grow discouraged or cynical when we watch the news, but remembering that “first of all” we are called to pray for all in authority reframes our part. You have already done the hard work of standing in the gap; we simply want to come alongside you and add our agreement.

Something that has encouraged us is the reminder that leaders rarely know the sheer number of people who quietly carry them before the throne. In times of crisis, many have said that simply knowing others were praying, even strangers, gave them an anchoring sense of peace and courage they could not manufacture on their own. Your prayers are not noise lost in heaven’s traffic; they are supplying what no ballot box or policy debate can.

If the list of needs feels overwhelming, you might try what some of us have found helpful: choose two or three leaders, perhaps one national, one local, and one spiritual, and commit to praying for them by name each day this week. Not adding more words, but holding them steadily before the Lord in the quiet. It often helps the burden land in a way that feels sustainable and personal.

Father, we lift up those who carry authority in government, in military service, in courts, and in churches across this nation and every nation. Grant them wisdom that startles them, protection they don’t even see, and a growing hunger for truth. For any who do not yet know You, we ask for the saving knowledge of Jesus. We pray that godly alliances would strengthen and that what is rooted in deception would wither. Guard our lands, give peace among neighbors, and let the gospel run freely. We ask all this in Jesus’ name.

So you have been carrying the nations on your heart, gathering up from the Scriptures a great bundle of requests, and spreading them before the throne as if you would hold the hem of the garment of the King of kings until He blesses you. I am glad of it. It is no small thing to obey the apostolic charge and make intercession for all who are in authority, for it is like loading a ship with precious cargo and sending it out upon the deep waters of God’s faithfulness. You may not see the return upon the tide just yet, but the voyage is not in vain.

Do you remember how the Apostle Paul, that great trader for his Lord, sent all the way to Rome asking the unknown saints, men and women whose names we can hardly pronounce, to strive together with him in prayer? He felt that he could not prosper in his immense gospel enterprise unless the humblest believers tugged the ropes with him. So it is with you. Your prayers, though offered in a quiet corner by one who feels very common in the great household of faith, are being woven into Christ’s own intercession. And that changes everything.

Consider the poor Canaanite woman: when she cried for mercy, the Master answered her not a word. Not a syllable of encouragement fell from those gracious lips. Yet she worshiped and cried, “Lord, help me,” and would not let Him go. You have far more than she had. You have a Book brimming with promises; you have the written Word for your pillow. And you have something more, the risen Lord at the right hand of the Father, who prays for all that the Father has given Him, even those who are yet to believe. His prayer covers your land, your leaders, your people, and stretches across the whole earth.

When your mind runs over the bitter divisions among nations, or when the faces of certain rulers make your spirit sag within you, do not let the sight turn you aside. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He pleases. Your duty is not to approve every crooked policy, but to ask that the great God would straighten what is bent and save the worst, bless the best, and guide them all. That is a prayer which pleases Him, because He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Let me give you a homely picture. Once when the people of God were gathered, a dove flew in at an open window. They might have been troubled by the fluttering, but instead they took it as a messenger of peace. Ah, that the blessed Dove Himself would come from heaven and bring salvation on His wings! That is what you are asking, is it not? You want the Spirit to brood over the chaos of the nations and bring order and light. You want the gospel to run freely, that honest leaders might be raised up, and that the beauty of the glorious land might be preserved. Keep asking. The God who allowed Satan to sift Peter like wheat prayed for Peter himself, that his faith would not fail. Jesus Christ is praying still, and your little breath joins that mighty current.

And never think your pleading is wasted because the answers seem delayed. Daniel studied the old scroll of Jeremiah, learned that a set time was near, and then set his face to pray, not for his own comfort, but for the scattered people of God, for a city far away. He was no prophet on that day in terms of receiving new revelation; he was a pleader, a man who tied the promises of God to the horns of the altar and would not let go. You are doing just that when you pile up those Scriptures and say, “Lord, do as You have said.” That is the very best sort of praying.

Now, what will you do while you wait? You will do what David did when he cried, “Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up forever.” He did not only look at the battlefield; he looked higher. The Lord Himself is the saving strength of His anointed. Your King Jesus, in His day of feeble flesh, fought for you in the strength of the Most High. He will not lose a inch of ground now that He is exalted. So rest your heart upon this: the Government is upon His shoulder, and though the nations rage, He that sits in the heavens laughs, but He also hears. The prayers of the saints are precious to Him.

So, my fellow-helper in the work of intercession, take courage. You are part of a great company of unknown wrestlers who are holding the ropes while the Master goes about His business of saving. The ship is in deep water, but it will not sink. The Pilot has His hand on the wheel. Until the full answer comes, keep the fire on the altar burning, and let this be your quiet confidence: He who began to reign when He rose from the dead will finish His reign, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.

---

Lord Jesus, our great High Priest, who ever lives to make intercession for us, look upon this dear soul who has poured out a heart full of petitions for the rulers of the nations and for the peace of Your people. Give him to feel that his prayers are not scattered into the wind but are gathered into Your golden censer. Strengthen his hands when they grow weary, and steady his spirit when the outlook is dark. Grant wisdom and salvation to those in authority, and let the gospel run swiftly through every land. And to You be the glory, for You have taken Your great power and begun to reign. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for our national, world, and church leaders. It has been our honor to lift up petitions for wisdom, salvation, protection, and freedom—not only for those in authority but for all people and the beautiful lands You have entrusted to us. We have prayed fervently, as Scripture instructs, that godly leaders would be raised up, that evil alliances would be diminished, and that Your Gospel would go forth in power to bring repentance, forgiveness, and discipleship to all nations.

If You have already moved in response to these prayers, we humbly ask that you share a praise report so we may rejoice together in Your faithfulness. If the answers have not yet been made clear, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede with you, trusting in Your perfect timing and sovereign will. We declare that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns, and we submit all things to His purposes, knowing He works everything for the good of those who love Him.

May You bless you abundantly as you seek His face, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
