Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Grant Loyal agents and bodyguards like David's Mighty Men, 2 Sam 23:23, and give them angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11 and heavenly intelligence as a gift to know what's coming before it occurs and circumvent it successfully and accordingly illuminate them, expose them, illuminate them (Like Elisha could hear the whispers of The King of Assyria's plans from the king's bedroom remotely at Elisha's Home [without electronic devices, btw, but You are obviously free to use whatever means You choose, being GOD and very creative]), 2 Kings 6:12. We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We join with you in this faithful and timely burden for our nation and the nations, for the church, for civic leaders and for those who defend our freedoms, and we thank you for bringing these petitions before the Lord with such scriptural depth and reverence.

We agree that it is our duty and privilege to pray for all who are in authority, whether we agree with them or not, because God commands it and because He desires mercy for all. As it is written, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4. This is not optional for the believer, it is first of all, and we stand with you in obedience to it.

We share your heart for wisdom, salvation, and protection for our President, his family, his cabinet, our Senators and Representatives, our Supreme Court Justices, our generals and all service members, and for our pastors and spiritual leaders here and around the world, as well as for all presidents, prime ministers, governors, kings, parliaments and congresses. We know that there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God, Rom 13:1, and that the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Prov 21:1. We rest in the truth that our God sits in the heavens and does whatever he pleases, Ps 115:3, and that He works all things after the counsel of his will, Eph 1:11, while He brings the counsel of the nations to nothing and makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect, Ps 33:10-11.

We also join you in praying for loyal protectors like David's mighty men, 2 Sam 23:23, and for angelic protection, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Ps 91:11, and for heavenly intelligence and discernment to expose and thwart evil plans before they come to pass, as You did for Elisha when You revealed the words that the king of Syria spoke in his bedroom, 2 Kings 6:12. We ask the Lord to thwart every scheme of the enemy, whether spiritual or earthly, for we know our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12, and we take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We echo your prayer for the fostering of godly alliances among free nations and for the diminishing of evil alignments, and for the furtherance of free speech, a free press, and free publication in every form, digital, written, typed and spoken. We pray this not for politics alone but so that the gospel of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah, may have free course, for we are commanded to Go and make disciples of all nations, Matt 28:19, and that requires the freedom to preach repentance and truth openly. We pray for the eradication of false teaching and persecution and for leaders who endeavor to be honest and to align with a biblical worldview, and we remember to pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks, 1 Thess 5:17-18.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne together in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We offer petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all in authority. We ask for Your salvation to come to the lost among them, for wisdom and humility for them to know what to say and how to say it, John 12:49, for guidance in every decision that affects the beautiful land and the peoples of the world, Dan 11:41, Ps 122:6. Save the worst, bless the best, guide them all. We ask that You raise up and set down according to Your perfect will, for You reign, Hallelujah, for the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns, Rev 19:6, and we give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and reigned, Rev 11:17. Grant them and us Your armor, Eph 6:10-18, Your loving kindness, truth and angelic protection, Heb 1:14, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. We ask that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, Rom 8:28, and that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We submit ourselves to You, resist the devil, James 4:7, and trust You to hear us when we pray according to Your will, Mark 11:24.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this watch, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, James 5:16, and we know the Lord hears the prayers offered in Jesus' name with thanksgiving. May we all remain faithful to pray for our leaders, for the church, and for the peace and freedom that allows the gospel to go forth until He comes.

We were moved reading your prayer for our nation and world, for churches, for those who serve and lead. Carrying that many people before the Lord is a weighty and loving burden, and we are thankful you are bringing them to Him with thanksgiving as well as petition.

We join you in asking God for wisdom for leaders, for safety for service members and their families, for pastors and congregations to be strengthened, and for peoples everywhere to know peace and truth. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the headlines and the needs across governments and nations, so we find it helps to keep intercession steady and simple rather than trying to hold everything at once.

One practice that has helped others with a similar burden is to give each day a simple focus, perhaps leaders one day, the church and mission the next, and those who defend and protect another, always mixing in thanks for what God is already doing. Even a few quiet minutes offered faithfully matters to the Lord who hears.

Your petition is according to the apostolic pattern and is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. First of all, you have done well to urge prayers, petitions, intercessions and thanksgivings for all people, for kings and all in authority, that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity, as the apostle exhorts in 1 Timothy 2:1 to 4. Whether we like those set over us or not does not exempt us from the duty, for the Lord has allowed them their place, and the heart of the king is as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, He turns it whithersoever He will.

Oh, it is grand praying when our mouth is full of God's own Words, for there is no word that can prevail with Him like His own. You have Him there when you plead His promise. You have brought His Word with you, and that is business like prayer. I like when brethren are as business like as a good carpenter at his work, asking definitely for what is needed, not offering clouds and receiving mists for answers. You have asked definitely for wisdom, for salvation, for protection, for the furtherance of that free speech and open press by which the Gospel of Jesus, the true Messiah, may yet be published to the nations, and for the peace of that glorious land and of its people scattered worldwide. Such praying means business, and it honors the wisdom of Him who told us to ask.

We join you in this. We pray for the President and his household, for his counselors and cabinet, for senators and representatives, for justices and generals, for service members and those appointed to guard and defend, and for pastors and spiritual leaders here and throughout the world, and for all presidents, prime ministers, governors, kings, parliaments and congresses. We ask the Lord to give to them wisdom which must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts, and to grant to them humility to speak what He would have them speak, as it is written, and to do what He would have them do. We ask that He would raise up and set down according to the counsel of His own will, for He sits in the heavens and does whatever He pleases, and He works all things after the counsel of His will, and thwarts the plans of the wicked while He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

We ask also for angelic protection, that He would give charge to His angels concerning those who bear responsibility, to keep them in all their ways, and that He would surround faithful men with loyalty and courage as He gave to David his mighty men. As Elisha heard the whisperings of the king of Assyria in his chamber, so we pray the Lord would expose hidden counsels of evil, illuminate what is dark, and grant heavenly intelligence to circumvent evil before it comes to pass. We pray for the fostering of godly alliances between free peoples and for the diminished influence of evil alignments, for the eradication of false prophecy and false teaching and persecution, and for the open door for the Word to run and be glorified, that repentance and the making of disciples might continue among all nations until Christ, our Omnipotent Leader, to whom all authority in heaven and on earth has been given, shall have accomplished His purpose.

And above all we plead for salvation. If we no longer need to plead for salvation for ourselves because we have obtained mercy, let us give the full force of our prayers for the benefit of others. Let us pray the unconverted into prayer, until they at last pray for themselves. There must be no reliance upon arguments based upon our own excellence, we must beg for grace and plead for mercy, for upon no other terms but those of grace can the Lord meet with us. He has a name for pardoning iniquity, and depths of mercy yet reserved for the chief of sinners. We ask that many in high place and low, in church and civic life, in our own land and in every land, may be brought to know Jesus Christ as the only Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

Let us then pray in the Holy Spirit, humbly and hopefully, and let us watch as well as pray, as Nehemiah set a watch while he prayed, guarding with jealous care the faith once delivered to the saints and putting on the whole armor of God against the serpent and his hosts. When the Church of God cannot take No for an answer, she shall not have No for an answer. So let us look for the answer, for He who has promised is faithful, and it is honorable to His wisdom and His goodness to expect Him to answer. Let the poverty of our prayers lead us to abhor our faults, but not to abhor praying.

We give thanks for every leader who endeavors to walk honestly and for every open door still granted for the Gospel, and we submit ourselves to God, to government as He ordains, and to those who watch for our souls. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may the Lord hear these requests and do for His own glory that which is best, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigns, and He has taken His great power and has begun to reign.
