We hear your sadness and we lift you, your mom, and your grandma before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We are grieved with you over your mom's suffering with severe osteoporosis and the loss of many teeth, and we understand how heavy it feels to carry anger, fear, and the deep wounds of feeling rejected, undesired, and unloved.
We want to remind you of this truth first, you are loved, and your mom and grandma are loved, with an everlasting love that does not depend on health, appearance, or whether others show love. God says in Jeremiah 31:3, I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness. And in Romans 5:8, God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. When you ask the Lord to love those who are not loved, know that He already does, for John 3:16 tells us For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Even when we feel forsaken, Psalm 27:10 promises When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. And Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
You also asked for deliverance from anger, fear, and rejection, and we pray with you for that freedom. Fear and rejection are not from the Lord. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Anger can take root when we have been hurt, but we are called to release it to Him. Ephesians 4:31-32 says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We encourage you to cast all your cares on Him, because 1 Peter 5:7 says he cares for you, and to bring every painful thought into obedience to Christ so that healing can come to your heart as well as your body.
You mentioned pleading the holy blood and asking for mercy. We rejoice that you recognize the power of the blood, for it is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have forgiveness, mercy, and access to the Father. It is important for us to say clearly that it is only by the name of Jesus that we come to God. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we pray and find deliverance.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over this dear one, over their mom and their grandma. Lord, have mercy on us and pour out Your love where there has been feeling unloved and rejected. Let this dear one feel Your perfect love that casts out fear, and heal the wounds of rejection and anger deep in the heart.
Father, we lift up this precious mom to You. You see her pain, her frailty from osteoporosis, and the loss of her teeth. You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing hand upon her bones and her body. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask for restoration and strength, for relief from pain, for wisdom for doctors and dentists who care for her, and for provision for the dental care she needs. Give her comfort, dignity, and peace, and let her feel how deeply she is cherished by You and by her family.
We also lift up the grandma and this dear one who is carrying such sorrow. Deliver them from the spirit of fear, from anger and bitterness, and from the lie that they are undesired. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven, to release every hurt to You, and to walk in the assurance that nothing can separate us from Your love. Romans 8:38-39 says For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Lord, teach us all to rest in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let Your love flow to those who feel unloved, and use this family to show Your love to others who are hurting.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, trusting in Your mercy and Your will. Amen.
