We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with yours. The weight of constant yelling, feeling unseen, and carrying the burden of broken relationships is heavy, so heavy that it makes this life feel unbearable at times. You are not alone in this struggle, and we want you to know that God sees your tears, hears your cries, and longs to bring you peace. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, even when it feels like no one cares.
First, we must address the longing in your heart to be free and even the thought of going to heaven. While we understand the depth of your pain, we want to gently remind you that God has a purpose for your life here on earth. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Your life is precious to Him, and He desires to bring healing and restoration to your heart. If you are feeling hopeless or having thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, or a godly friend, who can walk alongside you in this difficult season. You do not have to carry this alone.
Now, let us turn to the situation with your mother. The Bible is clear about how we are to treat one another, and yelling or harsh words do not align with God’s design for families. Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." We will pray for your mother’s heart to be softened and for God to teach her the power of gentle words. However, we also want to encourage you to seek wisdom in how you respond to her. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." While you cannot control her actions, you can ask God to help you respond in a way that honors Him and may even diffuse the tension.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the One who can bring true freedom, peace, and healing to your heart. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a gift, and it begins with surrendering your life to Him.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and unseen. Lord, You see every tear and hear every cry, and we ask that You would draw near to them in this moment. Comfort them with Your presence and remind them that their life has value and purpose in Your eyes. Father, we ask for healing in their relationship with their mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and teach her to speak with kindness and love. Give them both the wisdom to communicate in a way that honors You. We pray for protection over their heart and mind, guarding them from feelings of hopelessness or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, if they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them into a personal relationship with You, where they can find true freedom and rest. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
In the midst of this storm, we want to encourage you to cling to God’s promises. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Even when it feels like no one cares, God cares deeply for you. We also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can support you, whether it’s a local church, a small group, or a trusted friend. You were not meant to walk this journey alone.
Lastly, we want to address the physical pain you mentioned with your tooth. It is not trivial, and we encourage you to seek help for that as well. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Taking care of your physical health is also a way to honor God with your body.
You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. Keep pressing into God, and He will meet you in your pain.
