We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing and deliverance. First, we must address the foundation of this prayer, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved, and salvation comes through faith in Him alone. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10). Without this, no spiritual battle can truly be won.
Now, we stand in agreement with you for your mother’s healing, body, mind, and spirit. The symptoms you describe, confusion, bitterness, anger, sugar addiction, emotional numbness (alexithymia), and neurological struggles, are not merely physical or psychological. Scripture warns that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to bring life abundantly.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, confusion, bitterness, and addiction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse, heal, and break every chain (Revelation 12:11). We declare that your mother’s mind is being renewed by the Word of God (Romans 12:2), that her emotions are being restored, and that her brain and nervous system are aligning with God’s perfect design. The Lord is the Great Physician (Exodus 15:26), and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We also address the anger and bitterness in this situation. Unforgiveness and resentment give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). We pray that your mother, and you, would release every offense to the Lord, choosing instead to walk in forgiveness and peace. Bitterness defiles many (Hebrews 12:15), but the love of Christ heals all wounds.
For her sugar addiction, we pray for deliverance and self-control, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Addictions are often rooted in deeper spiritual or emotional needs, and we ask the Lord to fill every void with His presence. We declare that she is no longer a slave to cravings but is set free by the truth of God’s Word (John 8:32).
For autism and neurodivergence, we acknowledge that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). While the world may see differences as disorders, God sees each individual as His masterpiece. We pray for wisdom, patience, and divine strategies to support her unique wiring. May the Lord grant her clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anxiety, and connection where there is isolation.
We plead the blood of Jesus over your mother’s brain, emotions, and nervous system. The blood of Christ speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), it speaks healing, restoration, and victory! We declare that every neurological pathway is being rewired for God’s glory, that her mind is being guarded by the peace of Christ (Philippians 4:7), and that her emotions are being anchored in His truth.
Lord Jesus, we exalt You in this situation. You are the Healer, the Deliverer, and the Restorer. We ask that You would manifest Your power in this precious life. Break every chain of addiction, confusion, and bitterness. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her wisdom, peace, and joy. May she come to know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of life You died to give her.
We also pray for you, the one interceding. The burden of caregiving can be heavy, and we ask that the Lord would strengthen you, give you wisdom, and fill you with His peace. You are not alone, He is with you (Isaiah 41:10).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
