My ###

Faithful Servant
Please pray that God will allow me to hear my son ### laugh tonight and to let him feel good and happy. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We lift up your precious son before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts. Father in heaven, we come before You, the Giver of joy and the Healer of hearts, asking that You would touch this young life with Your peace and laughter tonight. Let the sound of his joy be a sweet melody in his mother’s ears, a reminder of Your faithfulness and love. Lord, we ask that You lift any burden from his spirit, replace sorrow with gladness, and fill his heart with the happiness that only comes from You. May he feel Your presence surrounding him like a warm embrace, and may his laughter be a testimony of Your goodness.

We pray that You would strengthen this mother’s faith as she waits on You. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You collect every tear she sheds for her child. Give her patience in the waiting and hope in the unseen. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for her son’s life.

Father, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they find their strength in You alone, and may their home be filled with the fruit of Your Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let their lives be a reflection of Your grace and mercy.

We rebuke any spirit of heaviness or despair that may be trying to steal this child’s joy. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every weight of sadness, anxiety, or fear to flee from him. We declare that his heart is guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and that his mind is stayed on You, Lord.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see it. May this mother and her son experience Your love in a tangible way tonight, and may their faith be strengthened as they witness Your hand at work. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God’s Word, dear sister. Psalm 30:5 reminds us, "For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Even in the darkest nights, God is working, and joy will come. Continue to stand on His promises and trust that He hears your cries. You are not alone in this, we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will move mightily on behalf of your son. Keep your heart open to His peace, and may He fill your home with laughter and light tonight.

We are joining you in lifting up this simple, heartfelt request tonight. There is something profoundly healing about a child’s laugh, it can chase away the shadows of a hard day, soothe a tired parent’s heart, and remind us that joy still bubbles up in ordinary moments. We understand the deep longing to hear that sound and to know your son is feeling good and happy.

Even when a day has been heavy, laughter often slips in when we least try to force it. Perhaps as you tuck him in or share a cozy quiet moment before bed, you could lean into something playful, a silly face, a tickle, a funny voice reading his favorite story. Sometimes these tiny openings are all God needs to release the lightness you’re praying for. But even if tonight feels subdued, please know your desire is not ignored. Jesus notices the love behind your words, and He cares about your son’s well‑being and your own mama heart.

We pray that the peace of Christ will settle gently over your home, that any heaviness in your son’s spirit will lift, and that you will hear the sound of his laughter, a small but sure reminder of God’s tender nearness.

Father, we ask that tonight this mother would hear her son laugh. Lighten his heart, bring him a sense of ease and happiness, and let that joyful noise fill their home. Renew her hope in this simple gift. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small thing to yearn for the sound of a child’s laughter, for laughter in the night of affliction is a song given from above. Our Maker gives songs in the night, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He can fill a young heart with gladness when all earthly helps fail. You have asked in the name of Jesus, and that name is a passport to the mercy-seat. The Lord Jesus took little children in His arms and blessed them; His heart is towards your son even now.

Yet let this natural longing lift your eyes higher. The happiest laughter that can ring through a home is that of a soul at peace with God. The true joy, the deep and abiding gladness, springs from sins forgiven. If you have not yet heard your son’s voice lifted in praise of his Redeemer, then let this desire for his happiness become a wrestling prayer, not for a night’s mirth alone, but that he may be filled with the joy of the Lord, which is his strength. Any common mercy, health, prosperity, the bubbling laughter of youth, is sweet, but it is the soul’s safety that gives a parent the greatest joy. To see our children walk in truth is a joy that makes the heart leap with holy thankfulness.

You pant after your son’s comfort; pant also after his everlasting blessedness. Holy longings are the buds of coming mercies. The Lord often makes us thirst for what He intends to bestow. Do you long to hear your child happy? He will not despise that cry. But while you seek his present cheerfulness, seek still more that his steps be ordered in God’s Word and that no iniquity have dominion over him. If God grants you the sweet music of his laughter tonight, receive it as a token of His fatherly care, but let it also whet your appetite for the far richer music of a soul singing, “Abba, Father.”

The world cries, “Who will show us any good?” and runs after visible delights. But the believer knows that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights. That laughter you long to hear, if it comes, it will be God’s gift to you both. And if in His wisdom He withholds it for a season, yet He can give you a song in the night of your own anxiety, a deep peace that surpasses understanding. Cast your care upon Him; He cares for you and your little one. May the Lord lift up the light of His countenance upon your son, and may you both rejoice, not only tonight, but for all eternity, in the gladness of sins forgiven and a hope that makes not ashamed.

God hears the cry of a mother’s heart, for He Himself fashioned that love within you. Yet remember how He orders our lives, weaving together both refreshment and trial, not allowing us to remain always in sorrow or always in joy. The laughter of a child is a sweet mercy, a little sip of gladness in this weary world. Pray for it, yes, but hold it with an open hand. The greater happiness is not in the fleeting sound of mirth, but in a soul turned toward Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light.

Do not place your ultimate comfort in any earthly sign, for even if you hear him laugh tonight, tomorrow may bring tears. God mingles these things so that we learn to set our hope fully on the kingdom. True and unending joy comes from a pure life and right faith, from looking boldly upon Christ. Seek that for your son above all. Pray that his heart may be filled with the Holy Spirit’s consolation, which surpasses a thousand bursts of laughter. Then both you and he, having passed through the changing seasons of this life, will be fellow-workers unto the kingdom, partakers of a joy that no sorrow can quench. May the God of all comfort grant you this small refreshment, but far more, may He draw you both to that eternal happiness where there is no weeping, but only the sound of rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.
